Yes, but the original itself was developed in the States, in Cleveland, and all Yonanas are produced in China, and they are no different from each other. So look for the store that sells for less.

Girls who have Princess Yonanas 282700? Buzzing badly? Impressions?

Tatiana.k, if you like popsicles, then you will like it. Ice cream texture like melted fruit puree (homogeneous). Ice cream additives can be used. It buzzes like an electric meat grinder. But the cooking time is short, so it's not particularly annoying.

And I want to ask a question to the owners of Yonanas. Can I grind frozen oranges or lemons (with skin) on it?
No, this is not the real price. Today I bought two such units, at a price of 200g, which translates to $ 5.9 or 400 rubles)
Miranda
Hello everyone!

I read the whole topic, was going to buy Yonanas this week, or rather his Banana Yoghurt clone, and even found it on bt.gramix for 1440 rubles. (plus shipping, of course).

But today I was in the shopping center, picking up an order for food for a cat, and there Mvideo is nearby, and posters, they say, "Black Friday 2", the last day. I went to look and unexpectedly, that is, without reading the reviews in advance, without comparing with other options, I bought a Maxwell MW-1443 PK sorbet holder at a discount - for 1495 rubles. If anyone needs it, you can order it today.

It is small, crimson and has a different ... I don't know how to say ... grinding mechanism. The principle is similar to Dessert Bullet (there are many videos about it on YouTube).

From the unexpected - the instructions say that you can make more pate and a recipe for chicken liver pate with an apple. But I don’t think that I will be berries and meat in one device.

There was nothing frozen in the house, I went and bought bananas and berries, so I will test it tomorrow. If anyone is interested, I will write a report later.

So far I have only photographed (do not judge strictly, on the phone) the size, mechanism and content of the recipe book.

Small

Returned with a report on the Maxwell MW-1443 PK sorbet holder

I didn’t notice it yesterday, but there is a depression on top of the sorbet holder, thanks to which a handle is obtained. Can be moved, removed from the table or carried. Conveniently.

Now about the process
(where I compare with yonanas and others, then with the video on YouTube, since I don't have them)

1. It makes noise, but about the same as yonanas. Not very loud, quieter than a meat grinder, but not quiet either.

2. At first, there is nothing for a long time, Jononas somehow faster. But, apparently, because of the long auger. And then he leaves cheerfully. "Sausage" is thinner, although it is not convenient to compare with the video here. But still thinner.

3. The product remains inside, but not much.

4. The instructions require 5 minutes of work, 5 minutes of a break. After three such cycles - complete cooling of the motor. I did two rounds.
First made from banana and cherry. I weighed everything - the banana was 120g, the cherries were also 120g. The cherry is a little sour, of course, so after that I mixed everything. I think that if you want sweeter, you need less cherries, 80 grams, if more sour - 1 to 1 is normal. Or roll frozen in icing sugar.

Ice Cream Maker Yonanas Frozen Treat Maker
Then I made a banana + plum, and rolled half a banana in cocoa. By weight also - 125g. banana, and 120 plums. First, the remains of a cherry with a banana crept, then this set went. It seems to me that plum is very specific to sorbet. Pieces of the skin remain, it turned out less uniform than the cherry. I mean it felt like crystals of ice. They left only after good mixing. In cocoa, you need to roll more or pour in it, it was faintly felt, but felt.

Ice Cream Maker Yonanas Frozen Treat Maker
That's what's left of the food inside. in my opinion, not much.

Ice Cream Maker Yonanas Frozen Treat Maker
Intermediate personal findings after first use

We ate it all together, and then I gave away 1/3 of my cup. This is sooo much for me. For one time, half a banana is enough for me (or I want to try it with cottage cheese) and 60-70 grams of berries.

Without a banana, if, then many will lack sweetness, they need powdered sugar.

Personally, I am calm about popsicles, unlike cream and other ice cream, which I love, especially coffee and chocolate. But the home ones love just such a fruit and berry and rejoice. If you have the same calm attitude, then you will quickly play enough, and you can not buy. But if you love, then especially in the summer it will be great to have.

In general, the device feels like a toy, and some kind of childish joy.
ju1ietta
MirandaWell, I also decided to buy myself a replacement for Yonanas, whose silicone gasket was torn. I had time for the action (thanks for the info), tomorrow they should bring it. By the way, I don't see any silicone included. This is good, otherwise it hurts too fragile
Miranda
ju1ietta, and you see there on the black lid, on which there is an ice cream groove, there is a silicone rim, but it is sooo tightly sealed there, it has nowhere to tear.

When I read the topic, I saw about silicone and how it was glued with silicone glue and got ready to follow it. But I bought another device.

And then, please, write something like a comparison.
Yesterday I thought for a long time - it is correct that Maxwell, not Jonanas, which is better. Comparison by video, as a diagnosis by phone

The main difference, it seems to me, is that there is a delay in the beginning. While it crawls all over the auger. And at the very end (after the first time it is clear that the second portion will push the previous one), I had already pushed everything, the pusher was all the way, but for another 30 seconds I watched the ice cream creep. If I had waited, maybe there were even fewer products, but I was afraid to keep it for a long time. And what is thinner at the output is also a difference.

Glad that we did. Let it work for a long time!
ju1ietta
Miranda, I will definitely compare if the defect in the silicone allows me to use Yonanas (I have not started it again since the gasket broke).
Miranda
ju1ietta, I hope Maxwell will work with us longer
Miranda
Unfortunately, today without a photo, I did not have time

I made two portions again - cottage cheese + cherry and cottage cheese + currant (black).

I liked it more with currants, and with cottage cheese it felt like real ice cream. I didn't feel the cottage cheese at all. I put a little sugar in it before freezing. Very tasty, very straightforward.

And with cherries it was felt that cottage cheese. And although I like cherries the most from berries, I liked them less.

I don’t know why such a different effect from different berries.
And it also seems to me that if for 100g. cottage cheese is good 100g. cherries, then currants need 50-60 grams. It’s very concentrated, a little sour.
ju1ietta
Miranda, It is necessary to take into account the structure of the fruit, the presence of the skin, the level of sweetness (cold foods dull the recipes, so the subjective sensation of sweetness is reduced). The ideal structure for such an ice cream is a banana, ripe mango (the structure is creamy, homogeneous. Peaches, nectarine, persimmon, etc. will be good. Ice cream made from overly juicy fruits is more likely sorbets (grated ice). Therefore, it is recommended when preparing ice cream from Add ANY fruit to hold the bananas together.

An interesting idea with cottage cheese. And what was the cottage cheese - granular or pureed?
Miranda
ju1ietta, I have my own cottage cheese, in a slow cooker I make from milk + sourdough.
It is closer to the curd. Although, depending on how much to drain the whey. The longer, the drier and grainier.

I will try to do everything in pursuit of the most delicious option

There, in one of the recipes in the book, they offer a couple of frozen wine cubes. I also want to try. Today I'll freeze the yogurt (also my own).
ju1ietta
Miranda, and how did you freeze the curd? It doesn't have to be a single piece of ice.

Test drive: MAXWELL MW-1443 PK vs Yonanas (Chinese clone)

So, I got the opportunity to compare both sorbet dishes.
As you can see, Jonanas looks more solid (overall), and Maxwell looks prettier, more accurate. The dimensions of the engine blocks are almost the same, but the intake and exhaust equipment of Jonanas is much larger.

Ice Cream Maker Yonanas Frozen Treat Maker

These units are disassembled (note the torn silicone gasket of Yonanas). Yonanas has everything more solid, bigger.

Ice Cream Maker Yonanas Frozen Treat Maker

By the way, when the courier had already left, Maxwell took apart and found an annoying defect on the auger. I don’t understand what it is: either glue or rust, but it looks unpleasant. How this will affect the performance and durability, I do not know yet.

Ice Cream Maker Yonanas Frozen Treat Maker

So, I prepared everything for the first "test": frozen chopped bananas, a chocolate bar, grated cinnamon, lemon jam (there is syrup in the photo, but it was not needed). Nothing special, as my goal is simply to compare the two units in operation.

Ice Cream Maker Yonanas Frozen Treat Maker

I threw into the receiving holes in this order: a couple of banana pieces, half a teaspoon of jam, 1-2 pieces of chocolate, sprinkled with cinnamon. Then she repeated until the bananas ran out. These are the "sausages" at the exit:

Ice Cream Maker Yonanas Frozen Treat Maker

Operation notes: the noise level of both units is almost the same, only Maxwell's tone is higher and the hum is more uniform, Jonanas has a slight rumble in the hum, which indicates a less accurate fit of the rotating parts, although, perhaps, the reason for this is a damaged gasket. Yonanas pushes frozen fruit much faster, his sausage is wider and flatter. The banana cannot tell about the degree of grindability, it is ground into dust by both units, but the chocolate perfectly diagnosed that Yonanos still had a lower grindability of the products: this unit had much larger pieces of chocolate.

Ice Cream Maker Yonanas Frozen Treat Maker

Well, I poured the ice cream with coffee:

Ice Cream Maker Yonanas Frozen Treat Maker

Ice cream is obtained from the above components, rather sweet, with a complex taste, tender, creamy, viscous. However, it is much more satisfying than the classic creamy one. It does not dissolve in water, does not float to the surface.

Conclusions: no big difference in aggregates was found. Yonanas works faster, but chops food less thoroughly. The build quality is lame in both units, and I suppose the Maxwell sorbet holder is also a clone, because something does not match the description in the attached instructions:

Ice Cream Maker Yonanas Frozen Treat Maker

I did not find the designations I noted on the case and other parts of the sorbet case. Assembling, of course, the unit is not difficult, but such inconsistencies suggest an insufficiently accurate copy of the sorbet holder from Maxwell.

In addition, more waste accumulates inside the Yonanas unit, due to the fact that there are more parts and space there.

And I made two options

- blinded like a small sausage, like a small banana. I put it in a film and in many bags, so that the freezing is softer (well, it seemed to me that it was necessary)

- in a silicone mold for ice, and I liked this option more, because uniform pieces, it is convenient to alternate when throwing

ABOUT! Thanks for the test drive.

It's a shame that you have such an auger in the kit always, when someone buys something after my story, I feel like it's my fault, it feels like

This sausage is smaller, it didn't seem.
About grinding - here it is interesting, I could not compare it. I think, due to the fact that Maxwell's product moves longer along the auger and he gets more knife-picks, and Jonanas misses fewer circles, pushes out faster.

Now I went to look at the badges, and the truth is not, but I did not even look at the instructions, it came together.
But in general, yes, the same type comes out.
Maxwell is similar to Dessert Bullet, only when I looked, there are knives differently, but also auger. And he has two nozzles included - a round sausage and an asterisk.

Ice Cream Maker Yonanas Frozen Treat Maker
I also saw this on the internet, funny. I think there are still such augers in nature.

Ice Cream Maker Yonanas Frozen Treat Maker
Thank you very much for the test, I was terribly interested in how they differ!
ju1ietta
Miranda, sorbet makers are not so few in nature

"It's a shame that you always have such an auger in your kit, when someone buys something after my story, I feel like it's my fault, such a feeling"

Miranda, never mind, I don't regret buying. I generally have a quirk for all sorts of gadgets, including kitchen ones. I recently bought a second ham of a different design (the question is: why?) Today I will also arrange a test drive, which I will write about in the appropriate section.

ju1ietta,

I went to show you the cottage cheese
What looks like dumplings is cottage cheese made from a silicone ice mold. It is very convenient to throw in products one by one. Tiny leftover banana and cranberry in powdered sugar.
Ice Cream Maker Yonanas Frozen Treat Maker
Well, the result.
I really like it with cottage cheese. Ice cream straight. Replaces the viscous banana, but without its obtrusive taste. The taste is only from the main berry, and the cottage cheese, due to its milkiness, gives the taste of ice cream, as well as volume and structure.

***

I like the toy, I don't regret buying it a bit. The pets are happy. It works properly, there are few residues. Only at the beginning it seems that it takes a long time to wait for the sausage, but then it goes briskly.

Although today I turned on the stopwatch on my smartphone (so far there is no sense of time for this device, and more than 5 minutes is impossible), and so the sausage went on the 15th second, and the whole process - a little more than 1 minute.

All If suddenly I try some unusual recipe, I will come to show it.
ju1ietta

there is not a technology, but simply to one motor you can pick up a pipe nozzle for different graters, and a pipe nozzle for a sorbet.

the other day I experimented with a melon. There was only one banana in the freezer, and it was necessary to figure it out for three.
I took a banana, melon, raspberries and strawberries. The first portion went with ice crystals, missed it again, it turned out amazing. Melon did not dominate, as happens with a banana, but gave a creamy structure
Mom Carlo
I wanted very, very much!
tell me, does it make sense to buy Yonanas, or can you buy Travola? on ozone, reviews on it are not very good, for many it broke for the second or third time :(
or even Maxwell, ozone also has it
Miranda
Mom Carlo, on the previous page ju1ietta deals with both options.

They have a slightly different design. I don't have Yonanas, so I can't say which is better. But Maxwell is at work, if not every day, then every other day. We don't drive much - 400 + - grams at a time, no more. Works. But we bought on the stock, depending on what price it is now, if it's good, I recommend it. If expensive, I think Jonans then.

So far, my favorite combination is banana, melon, black currant. Melon eliminates the obsessive banana, does not pedal itself, and the consistency is excellent.
