Spicy lamb with dried apricots and almonds

Ingredients

lamb (shoulder blade) 1-1.2 kg
onion (large) 2 pcs
garlic 2-3 cloves
fresh ginger root (grated) 1 tsp
ground coriander 0.5 h l
ground cumin 0.5 h l
cinnamon (ground) 0.5 h l
dried apricots 100 g
light honey 2 tbsp
chili pepper (optional) taste
semi-sweet white wine 100 ml
almond 2 tbsp
olive oil for frying
salt taste
parsley 0.5 bundle

Cooking method

  • 1. Cut the meat into portions and fry on the "Fry" program until golden brown (8-10 minutes). Remove the meat from the bowl and set aside for a while.
  • 2. Chop the onion into small cubes, finely chop the garlic. Pour olive oil into the bottom of the bowl, put onions, garlic and ginger and fry all together for about five minutes.
  • 3. Return the fried meat to the bowl, add dried apricots, honey, all the spices and pour in the wine. Switch on the "Extinguishing" program, time 45 minutes.
  • 4. Lightly fry the almonds in a dry frying pan and chop coarsely with a knife, chop the parsley. Put the finished meat on a plate, sprinkle with nuts and herbs and serve.

Note

The meat turned out to be the most tender and very aromatic. Try it, I highly recommend it.
