No one in the store said anything to me, and I would not let the seller hang me noodles about a product that he needs to sell. When I went to the store, I already clearly knew what I wanted to see in the dishwasher, what model it was, how much it cost and in which store it was available. And all because I sat very productively for a whole week in the "Dishwashers" topic on the Fly Lady website. Why don't you go there? There are several experienced moderators, including a male Fox, who will tell and show you everything. There are a lot of photos of different dishwashers at work and a lot of good advice that I use, and before that I did not know. On the question of girls. In general, I have a higher technical education, I used to teach mechanical engineering, I go to a hardware store with a caliper, I am friends with a drill, a hammer drill, an electric jigsaw, a grinder and other things for a long time. All projects were developed by me and partially completed by me. And there are a lot of such girls on our forum.

Inside it is completely stainless steel, aquastop, for 12 sets, folding pins on the lower basket, the upper basket can move in height, water consumption is 12 liters for a full wash cycle.
Type This description in Google, and see how many such options. I agree, nothing funny

Good day. Share who has experience on how to fix lightweight plastic utensils in PMM? If I understand correctly, it should (will) roll over, or just fly.

Hello! It's just that one edge can be "rolled over" with an ordinary plate, the arrangement is "overlapping" and then the plastic bowls will definitely not fly away But really, sometimes it turns over and then is filled with water from the PMM
Oca
Dmitry P., I have a couple of rows of pins folded, and so I press the lids and plastic containers in a semi-lowered state with them.

Girls (and boys), thanks for the answers. Already installed Bosch 43e43. During the first "technical" wash on the main program (65C), I put glass lids from pans and pots in there "for expiration". Well, in general, "my jaw dropped" in a good sense of the word) Some lids immediately became like new, I cleaned some with a toothpick - I did not think that SO MUCH dirt would fall off ... I used the finish powder / rinse, I am happy with the result so far. True, when washing, the smell of detergent spread through the apartment, but there was no smell from clean dishes. The machine has not yet been built in, I think after building in the smell it will be less ...

Strange ... I NEVER smell in apartment from the PMM was not. Just in case, check the tightness of the PMM door. (Although I don't know how to do this)

It seems to me that if the PMM door were leaking, then I would not have gotten off with only "pairs". All the same, the pressure from the blades is very strong (if I am not mistaken up to 150 km / h). I think that when washing at high temperatures, some vapors can still leak from the dishwasher, it's another matter that it's stuffy at home even at -35 degrees of frost, the air practically does not circulate.Soon we will build it in, I also want to cover the case with sound-absorbing material to reduce noise - then I will write about the smell)
Oca
The question is about tightness. But what about PMM dries? There is a small fan at the top, the air from the back of the machine comes out. Why doesn't water get into the "hood"?
Sandy
I also have no smell
sazalexter
Oca Not all PMMs have a fan, but only those with a turbo dryer, for example, Bosch has just a heat exchanger or condensation dryer. Yes, water just does not reach the holes of the turbo dryer IMHO.

Yes, it may very well be that during TURBO drying, the smell gets into the apartment. My PMM has only condensation drying, so I never had a smell. Now it even became interesting .... Do other owners of PMM with turbo-drying also have a smell from detergents getting into the apartment? Is this a side effect of improving the PMM?
sazalexter
I have almost no smell, and I just don’t sniff. To do something, I’ve been washing myself and turbodrying for 8 years already. Now, if I smell fired, then I will fuss.
Oca
It was not possible to crawl through, the basket is in the way, the hole is right behind it in the side. When palpating, a sheet of flexible plastic was found at a depth of about 1 cm.There is no smell, I smelled right at the exhaust hole Dry powder and rinse aid themselves barely smell The first three days the plastic and rubber of the machine itself smelled like, it was closed for three weeks in its original packaging ( if I read the release date correctly).

By the way, yes! On the fly lady forum, they also wrote about the smell, literally: "you can dump an elephant." And more about the detergent, some write that if you use it every day, you can go broke on it. It's a shame, with my salary of 15 thousand, it will probably be very noticeable on the budget.

Here, someone previously wrote about a strong pungent smell. Through joint efforts, a source was established - a fragrance for dishwashers. If you leave it in the machine during washing, then ... In general, the thing is useless.
If you use separate funds, it turns out quite budget. The cost of salt and rinse aid can be neglected, and a maximum of 40 grams of powder per wash is required. For ordinary dishwashing, 20 g is enough. A package of inexpensive 1.8 kg powder costs about 10 ye, which means that 11-22 cents are spent per cycle.

But it is worth it to anybody!

Repairing a dishwasher or buying a new one will be much more budgetary than a box of powder once every few months.

Yes, it is VERY difficult to choose a PMM. After reading the forum, listening to
tips, settled on the Bosch SPV58M00.
Uv Sazalexter, you most often advise AEG. Are they better than Boshes? More reliable?

Which model (45cm) would you recommend?
Thanks for the help.
sazalexter
I won't say about reliability, now it's a lottery, but the level of performance is higher. As the masters say, AEG-Elektrolux cars are more maintainable, although this is of course very conditional.
Dmitry P.
Good day. For those who are interested: here I am half way from the purchase. Antonina suggested the model (Beko DSFS 6530), found the best option for the price, and now she is on her way. I will meet tomorrow.

And what about the Bosch model we have chosen?

Today I replaced the leaking tap and, at the same time, twisted all the tees and adapters to the dishwasher for the third time, put the threaded connections on glue-sealant, instead of tow, no fuss with winding - rrraz and you're done! I recommend it to everyone. I was able to unscrew the past connection only with the help of a large monkey wrench and a well-known relative. It held on very tightly. Now I have lengthened the filling trunk by attaching a flexible hose to it, I hope there will be enough throughput. But soon the destruction of the kitchen will come to an end - the dishwasher will move away from the communications, and the hoses will be removed under the cabinet.

As for tow (flax), I disagree. You need to wind up on the thread. Linen, fum, modern yarns (Tangit UNi-LOCK). I don’t know exactly what kind of sealant you have, but there should be a reel. And just read the message twice, I thought you were a boy

Before the institute, and even in the first years of physics, they confused me with a boy. I wore a short haircut, drove a ball, and in my school years climbed to the garden for apples. Yesterday I did not find a picture, the label is badly damaged, but now I managed to find the name of the sealant by the manufacturer. I got a load on the taps and hoses, with the words: on this glue the heating systems are held. PMM today worked with a new water line, the flight is normal, not a ticket. Honestly, it didn’t bother me with anything, despite a slight bump, I did it exactly according to the instructions. I wiped the thread dry, stepped back 1 turn from the edge and missed all the rest. Glue was applied to one of the connectors, such as "dad".

By the way, if you wish, download the instruction in Russian for now. I don’t know how Antonina’s, but I have the closest available (there are several of them) type of Polish. There is a test for water, how to adjust the hardness, instructions on a separate leaf, I set it up from Polish. Here I am sitting now washing dishes and writing. I also watch a movie with one eye

Dmitry, is there a program for washing crystal and glass in the eyelid? I choose between the 6530 and 6831.
Dmitry P.
From instructions:
Items that shouldn't be
dishwasher safe
car

• Steel objects,
rust-prone
• Cutlery with wooden
or horny handles
• Cutlery with
pearlescent or
porcelain handles
• Not heat-resistant plastic
subjects
• Glued dishes or parts
cutlery
• Items made of copper, tin or
aluminum
• Fragile decorative glass and
porcelain
• Glassware made of lead
crystal
• Decorative items and products
self made
• Aluminum and silver
discolor
• Glass and crystal products can
lose its luster over time
Dmitry P.
There is no name as such. There are short 30 with heating, economy 50, Quick & Clean 60, Intensive 70, Auto 40 ° C-65 ° C. You just need to find out what parameters the program for crystal should have. Then just compare.
Taia
nazik
How much crystal is there in an ordinary static family? Probably not so much so that the dishwasher can only be loaded and washed with it at the same time ... and that this is exactly what the program was clogged for.
It is so? Both crystal and plates are washed at the same time.
Dmitry P.
I agree, I think a fast 30 will do. Much more depends on the detergent.
Antonina 104
Dmitry, congratulations on your purchase! It turned out cheaper for you, which is good news!
I also had to download instructions in Russian, they apparently do not intend us to sell their products.
At the expense of crystal, I don’t bother: washing it several times - it shines! And often I won't, we don't eat from it every day!

Good. day . Yesterday, foolishly, when washing pots on an intensive (70), I stuck a glass. As a result, one bowl could not stand such torment. Conclusion: glass is afraid of temperature changes. It is recommended to wash on the standard (everyday) 50 deg. Maybe someone will come in handy.
And just do the age-old dirt is hard to wash

Maybe the bowl was defective? I always wash everything at 70 degrees, including glasses, wine glasses, cans. For 5 years one beer glass has been scared (after the first attempt to wash it). There were no other cases. At 70 degrees, everything is still well washed and the microbes are skimmed!
sazalexter
There is no need to rape porcelain, ceramics and crystal like that. At 50 * C and strong alkali, and even with a washing time of more than 60 minutes, everything dies, well, except for anthrax spores. It is difficult to achieve such a regime with your hands.

We installed a full-sized Ariston, we have been operating for 4 days. It is something!!! 5 years before that there was Bosch (European assembly, all the bells and whistles that were possible 5 years ago for a 45-centimeter machine, well, and the price, respectively), Bosch had a control apparatus, they decided not to do repairs for 7.5 thousand, especially have long dreamed of a full-size PMM. So, I told everyone that dishwashers do not wash the rims on the soup pots, now I take my words back :-) Ariston washed everything perfectly in the superintensive wash (they just haven't tried another program yet)! And he also has so many all sorts of pleasant "gadgets" in the form of folding grates, baby mode, duo sinks, an accessible menu, etc. to communicate (though they did not explain why they are worse than Bosch, who broke down after 5 years of operation, and for no reason, he simply decided not to work anymore :-), with all of Aristona's friends, and the most inexpensive plow a lot years and nothing) .... And yet, to everyone who is tormented by the choice between a narrow and a full-size car, I advise a full-size one, I wonder why we didn't put a wide one right away ...
Olima
Oksyusha, what model of Ariston do you have? My friends have not yet decided on the model, Veko does not suit them for something. Maybe I will advise yours, if of course there is one in Ukraine.

Here's something lately, suspicions that the manufacturers of modern household e technicians, having set a certain fee, plans in advance the lifetime and the day of death of the device, which, for example, cannot be done with simple mechanics. Or they put units and assemblies that, after a certain amount of time or the planned number of working cycles, simply crumble into dust. Or are my suspicions groundless?

It only depends on your cooking-eating regimen. My husband and I are alone. We have breakfast at home (my husband is full, I have oatmeal with tea - if I have time), we have lunch outside the house, but I give my husband a "little brake" with me. Dinner is only at home. The result is that my machine works most often once a day, fully loaded, sometimes - once every 2 days. At my housewarming, I became completely insolent and did not wash ANYTHING with my hands AT ALL - I loaded it in full five times, until I washed everything, my hard work. And my opinion is that it is better not to load it too tightly - there may be "non-washing", so do not worry - as soon as you have it, you will immediately find something to wash, because you will not "save" on clean dishes, knowing what to wash it still not for you!

If there are not enough dishes, just pour in less powder. And that's all. The machine doesn't take much water anyway. So don't be upset. You can also see if the car has Auto mode. If there is, then great. The machine will figure out by itself that there are not many dishes.
Gressi
There is an auto mode, that is, it saves the situation, I understand correctly ?? If there are not too many dishes? Thank you very much for the answers, by the way, you can
Oca
Explain to the kettle how the machine determines the amount of dishes and the degree of soiling
Gressi
Here I looked at the answer to this question at the fridge ru: "The washing mode automatically adjusts in accordance with the type, quantity and contamination of the dishes loaded by you. During the execution of the Auto program, the dishwasher carefully monitors the washing parameters, starting from determining the amount and contamination of the loaded dishes and then by selecting the appropriate temperature between 50 and 65 ° C and the washing intensity for the best result. Thus, the automatic washing program optimizes water and energy consumption by automatically adjusting the cycle. During the Auto program, the water purity sensor is used.

Almost the same as half load. "Probably something like this

So I'm curious. I can still understand how the auto mode with an aquasensor works, but so that the PMM determines the number of dishes and their "dirtyness"?
Oksyusha
Oh, this is all so conditionally about "determines the dirtiness and the amount of dishes", the time difference of 5 minutes is not more obtained based on what she defined there. This is probably a marketing ploy
