lga, Gal, why do we need salt in St. Petersburg ?! Our water is so soft that I only use "washing" powder, I have never sprinkled any rinses or salt in the city since my birth. I have never had a gray bloom in my typewriter for 8 years, etc. In the village, yes, there is water It's hard from the well, but I don't use the same salt, I just add lemon to the rinse and that's it, and turn off the machine before drying, I don't like dried dishes, the drops don't have time to drain and small traces may remain ...
Gata
Buttercup, Luda, salt is needed not for the dishes, but for the machine itself - it is needed for the ion exchanger. And even with very soft water, it is recommended to set the salt to 1.

Well, in vain. Rinse aid is needed to
neutralize alkalis, acids present in detergents that remain on cutlery when washing
Mandraik Ludmila
Galina, the rash is less than powder and you will have a solid saving. That's why I don't use pills, I poured a teaspoon of powder and that's it ... both clean and washed well
lega
Buttercup, my PMM is already 14 years old, I tried different options - I decided not to give up the rinse aid.
Mandraik Ludmila
Gal, everyone has their own habits, and since it is more convenient for you, it’s so good .. I certainly have a shorter service life of the PMM, but mmm, clean, bright, all the same we have good water in St. Petersburg for washing and washing, but for drinking Not really

This salt is pure, boiled down, and pressed into tablets. It is intended for the restoration of ion-exchange resins of water softeners used in the process of water preparation and softening - that is, it can be safely thrown into the PMM. And there will be savings for sure! As a rule, such domestic tablets are no different from imported ones - salt, it is also NaCl salt in Africa. For example, I use our tableted salt from Slavyansk, a bag in Kiev can be taken for $ 4.8 - $ 5. Here are just a bag for such salt - this is, as a rule, 25 kg. Well, that means enough for a long time ...
Shl. I usually take 10 bags at once per year, because in our private house there is a column system for water purification and softening. Well, from these bags, something and the PMM gets ...

It depends on how often you use them, and how you use them. I have a nozzle for washing trays, but it often lies idle. Firstly, I rarely cook something on baking trays from the oven, more often in different forms or in baking trays with coatings. Secondly, in order to use this attachment, you need to remove the upper basket and screw on this attachment. It turns out that in addition to these trays, there is little else to fit in the PMM, there is no reason to launch the PMM. If the sink is small and it is difficult to wash the baking sheet there normally, then this nozzle may be needed.

I just put a baking sheet on top of the dishes and fsё.

Constantin, Thank you! I'll go read it. Now I was trying to find reviews on the PMM Freken Bok and did not find something, which is alarming ...
Kokoschka, and I use eco pills to Maine Libe. The dishes are ideally washed. But the main thing is that this is an eco-brand - you can wash children's dishes, and, in principle, do not worry about the soap film remaining on the dishes. In addition, you do not need to use anything (such as salt), everything is provided in them at once, so that the head does not hurt.

Girls, I'm so dark, just now I became the owner of a dishwasher! Please advise which tablets to buy first in order to start comparing with them. Or just tell us which ones you use. And another question, do you need to pour salt and rinse aid (pour) if I first use tablets?

Good approach to business! As a rule, good means for PMM are also good, that is, expensive. Trying the best tools and then looking for a price-quality compromise is very reasonable. Only here everyone has their own personal thoughts about "reference" means, and everyone has a different assortment of means to choose from. Each sandpiper praises its swamp ...
I will try to show exclusively my own IMHO on this issue, without claims to the ultimate truth. The highest quality products for PMM are Japanese powders. They are very expensive, but they also wash with uncompromising quality, environmentally friendly and relatively safe. As for the tablets, as I wrote earlier, I recommend trying BioMio BIO-TOTAL "Eco-friendly 7 in 1 dishwasher tablets with eucalyptus essential oil", which are produced in Denmark for the Russian company SPLAT. And also the German Frosch All in 1 Soda. Just keep in mind that the optimal regimen for such tablets is Eco 50C.
I never came across anything better than these tools ... I do not recommend the ubiquitous Somat and Finish.

I completely agree! I somehow managed to buy a small stock at an affordable price, and I have a small machine ("desktop"), so I will use them for now, then apparently BioMio will buy there the same powder. Powders are especially convenient when you have fewer dishes to wash or when the machine is small; cutting tablets is very problematic.

Thanks for answers! I just never used a dishwasher (I say, dark), so I decided to start simple, with tablets. For me, this is still a terrible beast, not familiar. Although her horizons have expanded significantly in three years on the bread maker, her husband sometimes threatens to block her when desires begin to go off scale.

went to the Crossroads and was confused! Finish Quantum 60 tablets for the action of 599 rubles. and BioMio 30 tablets for the action of 349 rubles, so I think what to do !!

And yet, please tell me, do I need to pour salt and rinse aid immediately if I wash with tablets?
Tanya-Fanya
Julia ***, congratulations on the purchase of another beloved assistant! PMM is the same happiness as a washing machine.
About salt and rinse - it is necessary. Despite the fact that the advertising of detergents hints to us that their detergents will replace everything and everyone.
It is necessary to pour salt into the special compartment and set the water hardness correctly according to the instructions. Likewise with rinse aid. We rarely do this.
But we add detergents powder or tablets to each sink.
Do not be very upset about the cost of pills or powder. It is advisable to track promotions for them in large hypermarkets. Believe me, they happen often (and we are neighbors - :). When there is a half load or lightly soiled dishes, then I pour the Finish powder. Even the instructions for the PMM indicate that in this case it is possible to reduce the amount of powder. When dishes such as pots, pans, baking trays, I wash them with Finish, Ribbon.
There are often good discounts for Finish powder or tape in the volume of 2.5 kg, which turns out to be 1 wash can cost 5 rubles. I estimate for myself, 1 tablet = 1 wash = 25 grams of powder.Hence 2.5 kg is 100 sinks.
This is my little experience.
Enjoy the brand new PMM! - :)
Julia ***
Thank you so much! I went for more salt. I bought the finish, I will wash everything very dirty, I sit thinking to buy BioMio or stop while at the Finish.

I will probably buy BioMio for everyday washing of plates, and then I will start to master the powders and save money. Is Japanese chemistry more concentrated or just expensive? I looked at the powder today, it costs 900 rubles 500 grams.

And the last question for today, which salt is better? There is Eonit, Finish and Top House in a nearby store.

Of those named I use Finish, I haven't seen the rest. But I really like TopHouse laundry detergent. Salt Finish and Somat were compared. There was a very good discount on Somat. I took the box in my hands, shook it, the salt is clearly too small. Finish in large chunks. The salt lies in the PMM and dissolves slowly. Therefore, I am for the choice of coarse coarse salt. Maybe there are some of those that you named?

Thank you!

girls, I also advise you to try this kind of salt - I really like Choosing a dishwasher, and now I took myself just this, inexpensive and convenient Choosing a dishwasher
Tanya-Fanya
Tinochka, whose salt is this, who is the manufacturer? Maybe it is only in Belarus? I haven't seen it in Russia.
V-tina
Tatyana, this is ours, Belarusian, Mozyrsalt, in containers in Moscow for sure there is, friends bought, were satisfied. But I don’t know in bags, but maybe there is another manufacturer, there are large tablets, it is convenient to lay and less often you need to add

Tanyush, I have no time to look for a long time, I scored into a search engine, I found such salt in a container on one of the sites for 200 rubles, we have it about 2 cu. e. worth
Julia ***
Tanya-Fanya, since as it turned out we are fellow countrymen, can you please tell me what rigidity did you put in the dishwasher?
Tanya-Fanya
Julia ***, so as not to break the rules, since the topic is not about settings, but about means, I invite you to PM.

Tinochka, thanks!

Tina, tell me please, where did you buy salt 25kg which
V-tina
Lena, you accidentally came to me in OMA, there is both granulated and tableted, a bag of 25 kg, the price of the issue is about 25 rubles, we saw in one day, there were a lot of bags, in a day we already took the last one
Mandraik Ludmila
The girls make a picture of myself, I sprinkle the usual fine table salt, very rarely and very little, for that I myself manually pour a little lemon into the rinse, the water in our village is hard, and with these measures I get clean dishes without streaks and the machine is shiny

And I pour in the rinse aid at every wash. It is not right?
P / M I have 2 months, so I haven't really figured it out yet
telez
The rinse aid is usually poured once and until the machine itself indicates that it is time again. Read the instructions.
Tanya-Fanya
orangewhat is your PMM? She's new - :) You should have either a small screen with icons or separate pictogram icons. One signals that it is time to add salt, and the other - rinse aid.
Have you read the instructions carefully? Or, out of happiness, to put the dishes into it faster? - :) how Vovka "in the distant kingdom" put the dough into the oven - :)))))

It's good that only 2 months, otherwise you can go broke every wash and tablets and rinse aid- :)))))
Chamomile
Our water is very hard. I have a tabletop PMM, so salt to the maximum, rinse to a minimum and half a tablet to wash. I played with the settings, with a separate powder, the result did not suit. Now that's the only way.
Julia ***
Girls, please tell me what to do. After washing, stains remain on my black Luminarkov plates.

Chamomile
Julia ***, I would increase the salt and rinse aid. And she watched. If multi-colored stains appear, then I would reduce the rinse aid. If it doesn't help, then I would change the detergent. We have sooo bad water and I only wash with tablets, and I can't wash everyone.Whitish stains also remain from some. With our water, the ratio of salt, powder, rinse aid does not work. Or I didn't catch the right ratio, although I have a second dishwasher. Or it works for a short time and divorces begin. For me, the way out is pills of a certain type and nothing more.
Julia ***
Thank you! I will try to set the salt to maximum. My pills finish.
VolzhankaD
We have good water in our city, and as soon as I pour salt according to the instructions, there are whitish stains on the dishes for 2 weeks until the indicator lights up. Now she turned it off. It is difficult to find individual products in stores, my tablets. So there can be an excess of divorces. I suffered twice - I don't do it anymore.
It also helps to prevent streaks immediately after the signal to finish opening the door - I slightly pull out the tray or insert a plastic cup into the spacer, and let the open one dry. True, I wash at night and am often lazy.
Mandraik Ludmila
Girls, my method is not suitable for everyone, but suddenly, I use powder (Japanese), my machine is very small, the so-called tabletop, but it stands on the floor. The water is very hard, instead of a rinse aid, I open the machine in one of the rinses and sprinkle lemon, half to a quarter of a teaspoon, right there, to the bottom, the dishes turn out without streaks and without a gray coating .. Therefore, I don't put it at night and without I do not leave supervision, I watch when rinsing turns on Not very convenient, but for me it is also better from the point of view of benefits, less of any chemistry remains on the dishes

Noooo.)))) With hard water, part of the powder goes to neutralize the hardness. But detergents do differ in their detergent and bleaching properties. My tea rims seem to always be washed, but I do not wash it with powder and always use long and hot programs, because the main purpose of a saucepan is a frying pan. Well, the tea raid is on the trailer.)
VolzhankaD
Some tablets (Topperr) say that they wash the tea. I wiped off the old plaque with a paper towel, and the fresh one is always washed off, I wash it every day, the cups are not worth more than a day.
Chamomile
Bijou, I agree, maybe the bloom is whitish from an excess of salt, but I advised from personal experience with bad water. At first I played with the typewriter, then I found the best for myself and no longer experiment. But from those games I remember about whitish stains, which were cured by increasing salt and replacing the powder with pills, even half a pill.
