Good day hostess !!
I haven't come here for a long time, and I have questions !!! Maybe someone knows what and tell me?
How long can PMM pills last? I understand that the shelf life of two years is on the packs, but if the expiration date has passed, what will and will affect the quality of the washed dishes ??? I just have pills that they just gave me, because Crystal-Fix was unnecessary, they turned stone, I started pouring them with hot water and just then pouring them into the machine itself (to be honest, I don't do that, I used almost salt + powder + rinse aid - everything is separate, but there really was a moment when I also used pills, and then switched to powder). about
So, in connection with the current situation in our city, we need to economize terribly, here on the market at a bargain price the girls Somat All were fitted in 1, 28 pieces, its shelf life expires in August of this year, just everything else is terribly expensive, and so I decide what to do ??? Buy and let them lie or what ??
If anyone can write, I will wait for feedback.

Thank you !!!

Svetik_, I think the delay within a few months is not scary .. I have powder for the washing machine (I didn't really like it, it washes it so-so), it's already overdue for six months, I sometimes use it for household laundry, like nothing, it looks and smells like that the same

People told me that if it is stored dry, then it's okay, really - I don't know

I would take a chance.) I have a box of Finish (all-in-one tablets) lying around for many years, bought for the occasion. It is huge, and it is a very active tool, usually spent only with a very dirty dishwasher load, and usually used a softer and cheaper product. So yesterday the soaps were once again with them - they work like new ones, the dead foam after boiling the jellied meat washed off with a bang.

Girls, tell me, only in the PMM do I have old traces of plaque from tea, or / is it about the PMM itself and the choice of means? I have PMM Hansa. The rest of the dishes are washed well
V-tina
Somat did not wash with me, then I changed the product and everything was in order
MarinaK
Tina, and which one did you switch to? I used Somat gel and TopHouse tablets
V-tina
Marina, I don't use pills, I switched to Bravix powder, I take any rinse aid, salt or Bravix or Belarusian SOLERO, it is large, it dissolves longer
MarinaK
Thank you so much! On the occasion of purchasing
V-tina
Marina, glad to help)

MarinaK, looked, you seem to have a tape in the city. I groped for their branded tablets for a long time and have been using them for many years. Very much even nothing, and not only I liked it. The cost of the tablet is about five rubles, the normal price. That's why the Finish is frozen because these cheap ones wash almost everything.))
MarinaK
Lena, I live far from the city itself, so I mostly buy either what is in stores, or what is in online stores, but thank you very much for your attention

How to clean a car with a lemon? In the washing machine, I run the machine at 95 degrees, but here I have a maximum temperature of 65 degrees. Maybe first dissolve the lemon in boiling water and pour it there?

What for? Does acid only in boiling water react with calcium?) We wash sinks, cisterns, toilets and mixers without heating.

Just load on a long program into the trough and turn on the machine. If you think that there is not enough acid, then open the door after the machine enters the main wash mode and throw a little more somewhere into the chamber.
shlyk_81
Lena, Thank you! And then the machine is already 4 years old, and I have never chased it with a lemon.
Bijou
shlyk_81, you are welcome.))
I somehow started a full program - first, a hot program with alkali (I think Krota splashed or Shumanita) to wash off the fat, then with a lemon to remove scale, because our water is too hard, I suspect that it does not happen with me completely desalinated. And poured into a basin to observe. So even after the lemon, the water was very dirty, muddy and greasy. That is, Alkaline didn’t eat everything on its own, but the acid helped.

Girls, I changed the Somat Powder for Somat gold tablets, I liked it, the most important thing is that it washes tea wonderfully. I watched for so long what to replace and now I liked it. They just got it for free, so to speak, it was provided for two years
Girls, you wrote here that lemon was added to the dishwasher, like to a washing machine ??? Maybe try too ??? To make it cheaper

I saw Somat had a remedy with a soda effect. Maybe it's okay too?

I used powder with soda, unfortunately, it did not help from tea traces, but I liked these tablets while I use
MarinaK
Svetik_, thanks for the advice.
Today my pill didn’t dissolve in the PMM, and it spread over the dispenser. But the dishes were washed wonderfully, only the tea bloom did not wash off, but this was to be expected, even the greasy glass pan was washed off. No chemicals on the dishes. Maybe sometimes it is not worth washing with all sorts of means?

Marish, if I encountered such incidents, then I just put a pill on the bottom of the car, I had that the powder did not wash out from the dispenser all over and, accordingly, did not wash it out well, then I opened the dispenser and the powder just spilled out by itself, and nothing ... ...
With the Gold tablets I felt what cool cups after tea become

I'm generally silent for my hometown, I'm glad that I managed to snatch my tablets cheaply ... they were at a bargain price ... the company was closing, so they were selling, and here I am ........... .. raked, for a while
Scarlett
Nothing, nothing, everything will work out for sure ... I pray for you all

Good day.

I want to say a big thank you to all members of the forum I carefully read this topic and several others about dishwashers. I recently had a dishwasher, so many of your tips were very valuable and interesting for me.
I grabbed a pack of HOREKA Select tablets into Metro. And there on the box it says: "1 tablet for 5 sinks (add to the cutlery basket") And now, actually, the question: HOW IS IT? - one table.for 5 washes? Or is it just a wrong translation? Tell me, can anyone use them?
MarinaK
I found on the Internet here such a Gel for PMM with my own hands, they say it is very versatile for both washing and cleaning in the kitchen:
"Structure
1 liter of water, 50 g of soap shavings (this is calculated on dry shavings), 45 g of soda ash - when the mass cools down, it turns out like a gel, if you use it for washing dishes, you can double the proportion, it turns out like a thick mass, it is convenient for a sponge apply a little - it turns out economically. Essential oils

Dissolve the soap chips in boiling water, stirring thoroughly. Add soda ash and also mix everything thoroughly until it is completely dissolved (if it is not dissolved properly, then there may be white stripes on colored or dark linen). When you add baking soda, the liquid begins to gel and becomes pearlescent. When the mixture has cooled, you can add essential oils. For a whitening effect, you can add a few drops of blue ink to optically enhance the whiteness.
As a result, the gel was washed:
1. Very dirty sink, sometimes even coped with salt deposits.
2. Almost destroyed the mold at the joints of the tiles, at the seams.
3. Launched a plastic table covered with children's felt-tip pens.
4. Perfectly washed the stove, coped with the dried drops of fat on the wall especially well.
5. Perfectly dissolved the spilled oil in the medicine cabinet, which from time to time turned into drying oil.
6. Tested in manual dishwashing. The dishes are washed until they squeak.
7. And most importantly, it is an eco-friendly product that is dishwasher-safe! The dishes after it are clean and odorless! "

Interesting? Can anyone have tried it already?
mowgli
I didn't really like kitchen cleaning and dishwashing. the dishes are washed, but the pollution is not very good, we switched to the feri and the sponge is also not very good. Well at least I have

laundry is washed better, but that's a different topic

MarinaK,
Marina, did you use this tool at PMM?
Something raises many questions.
Zabava
This gel was widely discussed in the topic "washing powders"; its properties depend on the laundry soap on the basis of which it is prepared. For cleaning the kitchen, I liked the anti-stain gel with soap, there are bile acids that dissolve fats, I used it in PMM, but the result is the same as after any other means

No, I haven't used it yet, until I had time. I used vinegar as a rinse, I liked it

That is, did you use vinegar instead of a rinse aid?
Marina, I understood everything. Turned a few pages back and read that you already wrote about it. I'll try adding apple cider vinegar to the rinse container.

I also do this if the remedy runs out

Who uses this gel?
Please write your review.
They do not sell much, I do not know whether to take or not. I want for teflon dishes and for festive dishes, so that the paint does not wash off (flowers, gilding).

The people are tormented by the question!
Using the machine for half a year, great joy !!!
Finish 3 tablets are laid in one and it is written that salt is not required with them.
And I'm not a cloddle salt, but I doubt all the time maybe salt is all right needed?

Focus on the hardness of your water and the appearance of the dishes after washing: if the water is very hard, or there is not enough salt in the tablet, then a white coating similar to scale will remain on the dishes and PMM. Then you can add salt separately. In practice, Finish tablets are so thermonuclear that no salt is needed anymore. I use them periodically, when I want to wash something especially clean, and so I take Bio Mio, I add salt to them.
Tanyusha
Kokoschka, at the beginning of the topic, Jeffrey wrote that the salt poured into the machine is needed for the normal functioning of the ion exchanger - a device that softens the water entering the PMM. And then somewhere else it was discussed that salt must be filled up.
Maryka
Tanya, the all-in-one tablets already contain salt.
Kokoschka
Yes, I realized that if you use other means then add salt if you finish then no ...
Tanyusha
Maryka, I know that the tablet contains salt, but you still need to add salt if you don't want your machine to fail ahead of time, but whoever wants it.
sazalexter
There is no salt in the tablet, there are phosphates.
Kokoschka
What salt is better to buy? My husband would go to Auchan tomorrow and would order!
Bijou
sazalexterdo you know what you were doing now? )) I tried to find pictures or videos of dead resin in the ion exchanger. I think, well, here are a hundred and so many conversations on this topic, for sure the network is full of information on this topic. With details ...

Yeah, schaz ... Nope. Either I asked the wrong search (although I didn’t try any combinations), or it’s such a rare animal that no one bothered to photograph such exotic things.
Kokoschka
Bijou, and what's this about? What is this dead resin?
Bijou
Kokoschka, this is the very thing for the sake of which it is traditionally advised not to keep the car without salt and always set the softener.
