Girls, but I'm sad ... Cracks appeared in the lid of my Status container. It's outside Vacuum packing machine

And this is inside. Vacuum packing machine Vacuum packing machine
Shelena
Larissa, I have been using various vacuum containers for over 15 years. Similar cracks appeared when pumping air (at first I did not feel when to stop). You may have the same reason. I sympathize.
telez
I pumped out not with a pump, but with an evacuator. In theory, it stops itself when the air is evacuated.
Jouravl
telez, Larissa, for some reason, the green Status containers come with a decent discount
Maybe this is a hidden defect, sellers know about it and sell at a discount? Call where you bought and let them change. In ozone, they have a special price, and only for green ones.
Belka13
Hope, last week there were discounts for different models and colors - perhaps these are the remains of unsold containers?

Even the photo in the review has packaged products

That's what I want. And there are inexpensive film bags for it. I just never ordered anything more expensive than a thousand in China, so I'm afraid :))

Similar packers were already discussed at the beginning of this topic. Read it before you order.
NataViola
Are my questions too specific?
I would like to prepare for a trip to the city, to know which packer to order
Belka13
NataViola, all 162 pages of this topic are devoted to your questions. We'll have to overpower it, because no one will make a purchase decision for you. To be honest, it gets boring to pour the same information from empty to empty. In addition, few people have two or three packers to answer you most fully.
NataViola
Yes, that's just what I wrote, because I saw the comments, they say I use the manual one more often, so as not to get a big one, so people who have both types have
Belka13
Natalia, I also have two big packers and a Caso pistol. But how can I, for example, offer you to buy Caso or Sigmund when both Ellrona and Redmond are praised? This I need to try everything in order to give advice, but I have no such opportunity. And by the way, you can't seal the bags with a pistol, but you can only pack zip bags with a valve and containers if you have an adapter.

NataViola, Good day!
I can share my experience of using vacuumizers Caso 020 and Redmond 021. I use Caso 020 only for vacuuming products that I do not plan to store for a long time (a day, two, no more), since the degree of vacuuming has to be determined by myself and is not always successful (experience and, It seems to me that it also depends on the degree of battery charge). But in daily use (with a Gochu hose) Caso 020 is very convenient: baked goods on the table under lids, sliced leftovers in bags, pickle something for a day or two in a container. If something opens, it is not scary. For long-term storage and freezing - only Redmond 021 (although I can use it every day, when I use my own containers or not "zip-bags"), the degree of vacuuming is determined automatically in it. To date, all of its functions suit me, I do not need anything in addition to it.
Good luck with your choice!
NataViola
I am aware that the bags are only large, the question is whether you need a large one with a hose if there is a manual one.
Or buy an Elron or Redmond 20 and use them to solder packages, and hand-held containers-cans.
But Svetlana drew my attention to the fact that the manual itself does not turn off .. Although of course there is an indicator, but not very unambiguous)
Esvt
NataViolaThe adapter from Gochu does not fit all containers either. For example, it does not fit with Redmond containers. Therefore, from my point of view, if you are planning to use containers for evacuation, it is better to buy a vacuum apparatus with native containers and an adapter, and the Gochu hose will expand your possibilities for buying additional containers from other companies.

Well? ... Whatever the child doesn’t amuse himself, anyhow it doesn’t get pregnant.
What for? To be honest, I don't really know. But the main idea was to seal what I put in the freezer. Less space, pack in small pieces if meat; pack in portions; if mushrooms; sometime salt the fish, and sometime tomatoes or cucumbers quickly. I scored consumables, yak a fool of soap
I bought a packer Pak Plus and a set of containers Status.
Now the main thing is to remember where all this "wealth" is stored))

Please tell me, what will happen if the water is sucked in if the vacuumator is without a wet mode? How will it break in a vacuum cleaner?

This is the case! Congratulations!
And yet everything is in one color scheme ... beauty!

Tatyana, Congratulations!!!
And today, that is, yesterday, I became the happy owner of a vacuum cleaner.
Until I tried it, it was not up to that, although I wanted to pickle the mackerel. But since the night, and the children are sleeping, I was afraid to make noise, and I closed the fish in a zip-bag, displaced the air with a marinade, in general, with its handles the Vacuumator looked at me with longing and condemnation ...

Hope! Good morning! In all the instructions for vacuum machines that do not have containers for collecting liquid, it is strictly forbidden for liquid to enter the compartment for suction of air and soldering, so everyone makes every effort to prevent this. I can only assume that the consequences of liquid entering the vacuum apparatus will be sad
Shtebovich
The mode "for wet products" increases the duration of sealing the film. It is assumed that the bag is wet and it takes longer for a good seal. It's all. No additional liquid protection appears. If liquid gets inside, the device will break, either with a wet mode or without it, but it all depends on the amount of liquid drawn in.

Arka, Nata, which one did you take in the end?
Oddly enough, Ellron. This choice was influenced by the small size and relatively quiet device operation (from comparative tests, found on YouTube). I know that a simple device without n-th number of functions and a little slower than others, such as Caso and Redik, but I made up my mind, since I do not procure it on an industrial scale. And if I understand that I am missing something in the functionality, well, I'll give it to my mother, and I'll look for myself again.
P.S. And with me you can call "you"
Anna1957
And I solved the problem of liquid in this way: everything that I evacuate, I put first in a simple bag, sealed it, and then in a vacuum one. I'm so calmer.
valushka-s
Anna, but in my understanding, then your simple package is in a vacuum, and not the product itself
But the whole point (if pickling or savoring) is in evacuating the product. (well, I'm so kaatsa)

Well, a vacuum bag sticks around the product in a thin film, that is, in a vacuum what is inside it turns out. I didn’t come up with it myself; someone here advised me to insure myself against the liquid.

if the first package is simply sealed, then how, where can a vacuum arise in it ??? The product is simply well sealed. This method is convenient for storing in the freezer.
If it was possible to simply drive the excess air out of the bag, and this would be considered a vacuum, then we would buy sealing machines, not vacuumizers.

The vacuum acts on the pores of plant and animal tissues, as a result of which they expand and significantly increase their absorption.

vacuum technologies make it possible to pickle products very quickly. The vacuum pressure opens the pores in meat and fish more strongly, allowing the marinade to penetrate well and deeply into the food. It takes no more than 10-15 minutes for the meat to marinate to such an extent that it can already be fried.

Anna1957
Well lan, I will not seal the first package. But everything that I saw according to the recipes, I succeeded
valushka-s
It's good!
Tanya-Admin somewhere described how, if you wish, you can cook ala-sous-vid without having a vacuum sealer.
Vinochek
Girls, I choose between Redmond 20, Caso 10 and Ellron, so the price is about the same. Here the question arose. I saw Wet Product in Redmond, but not in Ellron. Does Kaso have that? And how much is in demand for this mode?

In this kitchen, the word "vacuum" means the maximum possible reduction in the amount of oxygen around the food. Well, so that life does not seem like honey to aerobic bacteria. It is clear that when this is done in a bag, then almost all of the gases go away, and if in the container, then the oxygen remains up to fig. But when the product is sealed in a bag together with oxygen air, then the point is to compress the air with a vacuum cleaner? Yes, there may be less air inside the food. But the number of molecules will remain the same as before "vacuumization".
francevna
Anna1957, Anya, I wrap the meat in a roasting sleeve, but I don't seal it, and then I put it in a vacuum bag. Therefore, here the air is pumped out easily and without problems, the liquid does not enter the packer.
Bijou
Already went down again to examine her Redmond. In fact, things are even better there than I thought. I suspect that it is the same with others:

The point of capture of air (and potential liquid at the same time) is raised above the bottom. And even better, due to the small "dome", it sticks out above the general level of the "ceiling". A kind of periscope.) Before the liquid gets there (to leak into the compressor), at least half a glass of it will fit in the chamber.)

Many of us will admire for a long time how the liquid is pumped into the vacuum chamber with glasses?))

Well, that's exactly what I understood - I looked through this whole chamber and found nothing else where the air could flow away.
Anna1957
If the liquid enters the seam, it does not get sealed. So the problems begin even before the liquid enters the chamber.
I want to try everything with ordinary vacuum (smooth) bags using a tube or non-woven material, but in our Metro there are some crossings and where the bags are located - no one knows. Maybe this strip of material will prevent liquid from entering the seam.
Vinochek
I chose Redmond. Now it remains to decide - do I want it more expensive by 1000 from us (((

Vinochek, if redmond, then 021, he goes with a hose and containers. And containers are in great demand.

LisaNeAlisa
Vinochek, store something. I vacuum homemade sour cream, it is stored longer. In one container, constantly chopped greens. You won't cut the bag and re-seal it for a pinch, and you can easily open the container.
Vinochek
understandably. I have Wax covers for these purposes. I'll just buy a hose later if need be
