It is better to solder by placing the grooved side on the heating element (I have it at the bottom). And it is advisable to seal it 2 times in one place, the film is thick. Until I started doing this, there was a lot of marriage.

My packer Redmond RVS M021 seals Korean film the first time. The vacuum holds well. Yesterday I took just such a film: Ellrona FreshVACpro 20x600 film in a roll for a vacuum sealer, 2 pcs. Also decent in quality. Corrugated on both sides. Very similar to the one that came with the packer (bags).

And in general: how I used to live without a packer ..... :-)
