I cook porridge in a slow jar, or rather, I have become attached to one, oatmeal made from whole grains. All other porridges have somehow faded to taste. Although we can today put milk buckwheat in a pressure cooker for the sake of interest, I will try.
Aygul, in what proportions do you cook?

Aygul, in what proportions do you cook?
And let me not tell you why you need proportions that I do not like
Stafa
Well, at least something like that? Right now, I'm still going to pressure cookers in chuchelkin porridge, and we can decide on the proportion. Well I need a kick, from what to dance.

Svetik, well done!
And I can't figure out everything with milk buckwheat, in what proportions to cook or how long to set, so that it tastes good to me. The husband eats, and the children do not refuse, but I don't even like it
Buckwheat with milk is not useful. Milk prevents the absorption of iron contained in buckwheat. So much for you.
Stafa
And I cook from whole milk in half milk - it's delicious. True, I cooked it in a cartoon, I must try it in a pressure cooker.
Stafa
Today I cooked mashed potatoes. I set the time to 8 minutes, as a result, after 18 minutes the program turned off and I forcibly relieved the pressure through a wet rag. Now I have no inscriptions, or rather they are all smeared, on the dump valve, than now they have to be erased altogether.

This is how I correctly intuitively feel, how it is necessary or (in this case) it is not necessary

yes, okay, you will forcibly drop it a couple more times, the inscriptions will completely disappear

Yesterday in the night I decided to cook buckwheat in milk. Well, at least I didn't go to bed. At first, everything was as usual and before the valve was blocked, a small sound went off, and at the moment when the valve was about to close, milk flowed out of it. Moreover, this Bakhchisarai fountain did not end in any way, the whole table was filled with milk. I put the proportions of 1/2 mst buckwheat and 3.5 mst 1.5% milk in half with water. While she wiped everything, then added 1mst of half milk, now she threw a piece of butter and put the porridge again. But for the second time without incidents, 10 minutes on pressure and until morning on heating. Porridge turned out, if not for the gushing SV.
Aygul
Let's recap how much of what I'm writing down

This is such a porridge now cooled. In the morning I was thinner.

Now about the bowl. To be honest, there were no such problems with Panaska's bowl in 1.5 years, which I did not cook in it, and it was welded to the walls, but it seemed so. Washed off once without soaking with a sponge and detergent. With the same bowl, this method does not work, after the porridge there was a rim and it was welded straight. While soaked with fairies for 10 minutes, it was wiped off only with the use of force on the sponge with the rough side.
Aygul
Does the porridge turn out to be 1d8? 0.5 cc of cereal for 4 cc of liquid + salt, sugar, a piece of butter, right? I'll try it for tomorrow morning.

Quote: Stafa

Now about the bowl.

so I said that the bowl is not ice, however, I thought I was the only one so "lucky" I even do not rub with the soft side of the sponge, I immediately soak it, and then with my hard side.

No, 1/7 turned out initially, but how many ran away, added another 1 mst of liquid. And oil, salt, sugar - yes, only the oil was in the second tab after the escape.
And a bowl - what you can want from a noname for ridiculous money, it's like an inkjet printer - you save on the printer, go broke on consumables. So here - like speed and cheapness - be so kind as waste your time and energy on laundering. Everything is interconnected - it's like in construction "cheap, high quality, fast" you can choose only two of the three parameters

Or maybe it's all the same spraying like in brand 502 - there, too, the maidens scrub with a brush, but nothing seems to be done with the coating. Can cover like ceramic.
SSvetik
Sveta, I'm thinking about your milk porridge, why she ran away. Was the valve not in the closed position or was the silicone ring not properly seated?
I had no experience with pressure cookers before with Redbera. When I bought it for myself, I cooked several dishes, and everything was fine: nothing ran anywhere, nothing burned to the saucepan. But the only thing that did not suit me was the silicone ring, which fit very tightly under the metal rim. Because of him, I broke all my nails. And I decided to bend this metal rim a little. The ring began to enter freely. But here it started every other time: the milk ran out, and the meat burned. I constantly changed the ring, because if it warms up a little bit, it stretches, and it was necessary to constantly correct it. Then I got tired of it all, and I already removed the pressure cooker out of sight. Until one day I had to cook dinner instantly. I took out the pressure cooker with horror ...
But I pressed this metal rim on the lid inward again. The silicone ring began to fit under the rim again with difficulty. But now, nothing escapes or burns for me, I can open the hot lid to add something to the pan, close the lid without adjusting the silicone ring, and the pressure cooker will again gain pressure without surprises and prepare the dish for me, if necessary.

Today I will try again to cook buckwheat milk porridge and check all the points voiced. My milk is always the same 1.5% long play, we immediately take the packaging, so all the components are the same.

But today I made stuffed peppers, zucchini and eggplants, and the slow one was busy with yogurt. And I made two zucchini in SV, one eggplant and one pepper to eat at a time. Well, what can I say, soft, cooked well .. but not tasty. And the broth from them is just voditsa, the most delicious in slow, then in a cartoon .. but SV only if necessary quickly, to the detriment of quality.
Stafa
I put the porridge, checked everything I could. She wiped the ring dry and put on the porridge. She didn't go far from the pan to be ready, but mine was not needed. The valve closed pretty quickly without incident, the porridge is boiling.
Aygul, 1/7 proportion is not correct, the porridge turned out thinner. Looks like more ran away. Now I'll try to cut 1/6, this one is closer to that proportion.
Stafa
I have a dream - to bake a small round loaf of Borodinsky. Today I tried to do it in SV. I kneaded the dough in KhP according to 1/2 recipe for "Choux Bread" from Panas instructions. Then I put it in a greased redber bowl and set it for 19 minutes. When active hissing began, the valve did not close, but the SV was cut out from overheating. After 20 minutes I looked at how there was bread and, without remembering the thermometer, set the time for 20 minutes. And only after the second 20 minutes I remembered about the thermometer and Thleba was already 100C, the bottom and a bit burnt on the side. The bread popped out well. I put it in AF for the upper crust for 5 min. Then I'll cut off the burned bottom. But the result is that you can bake bread under supervision and with a thermometer stuck in.

Why, I sat down on milk buckwheat. I keep looking for proportions - I seem to have already found it. Yesterday I cooked 1/6 a little thin, but almost as it should. Now I will try 1/5 and this will most likely be the same. Fortunately, I cook buckwheat for 1/2 mst and for me it is for 2-3 days alone.
Aygul
you tell me, dear, tell me even more specifically how much milk, how much water, how many minutes
Stafa
1/2 mst buckwheat, 1.5 mst milk, 1.5 mst water (now I will make 1.25 mst water and milk each), a piece of butter, salt and sugar to taste, I like it to be more salty and sweet. Boil for 15 minutes and heat until morning. If I am still awake, then after opening the valve I open it and mix it. I usually set it at 9 pm, turn it off at 8-9 am.
Aygul
and time?
Leprekon
Girls, tell me!
I bought 205 Redber. While it is gaining pressure, the red lamp is on, then the yellow one comes on. The timer reaches "without a minute", after a while a click is heard, no sound signal. The yellow light remains on. How to understand that the saucepan has finished cooking and switched to the heating mode? Or maybe her timer does not work, and she continues to cook? And it's time for me to run to the service center
Aygul
Leprekon , this click means that the pressure cooking time is over, you can unplug it. And the yellow light, continuing to burn after the click, means that the heating mode is on. This is written in the instructions. No need to go to the service center
Leprekon
Thank you! The instructions promised a beep, so I waited for it to squeak five times or something .... And the yellow one burns all the time, both when it cooks and when it warms up. "Adults" multi signals that they have finished and switched to heating. But I already cook porridge in it in the morning, for which this little thing was bought
Thanks again.
Aygul
Leprekon , yes, he cooks porridge and ok! I'll go put milk porridge for the morning too

And for me, somehow, imperceptibly, the baby fit into the company of pots and then works as a main pan, then as a pan for multi or slow. But she has a winning position - if the panasik and the slow one are put in the box, then the pressure cooker, due to the structure of the lid, does not fit into the box and lives next to the AF. The other day I cooked porridge from wheat in it - 0.5 mst of cereals and 3 mst of milk in half, a piece of plum butter. and salt to taste. 20 minutes. I don’t remember about heating, it was immediately upon arrival from vacation. But the porridge turned out delicious.
Aygul
This porridge will be for tomorrow's breakfast Today's breakfast has already been eaten

It's so good that I have it
Guests came yesterday, they ate almost everything that was prepared for them, well done!
And then in the middle of the night I remember that I didn’t cook porridge for my favorites in the morning. In a large pressure cooker, soup for a long time, but I don’t want a delay, the milk is not so fresh to know for sure that it won’t run away, that is, you need to watch. She took out a pressure cooker (5 hours ago she was transported from the kitchen so as not to get in the way), voila, after 20 minutes everything is ready. That's what kind of hostess I am

At 8 months of use, the pressure cooker tasted rice milk porridge from it. I cooked such porridge slowly, but somehow I could not get to the required degree of rice cooking, then undershot, then a flight with overnight cooking of rice porridge. And porridge is needed in the morning. I decided to cook in a pressure cooker and really liked the taste, degree of readiness and consistency. I put 1/2 cc of rice + 2.5 cc of milk in half (half with water) and for 17 minutes.
By the way, my bowl began to peel off in dots, a few dots appeared a couple of months ago. But so far I have not seen an increase in this. On Ali I found a gold bowl for my pressure cooker at the cost of a whole pressure cooker with us, but if the kirdyk comes quite often, then you will have to buy a new one.

I've been preparing all the morning milk in it for a long time, it's even more correct to say only in it and only in it
just a little differently. I don't remember whether I wrote or not, so once again
If 0.5mst. cereals, then 1.5 mst milk + 1.5 mst water, salt, sugar, butter. I bet for 6 minutes. And I do all this at night before bed. In the morning, a wonderful porridge, all the liquid is absorbed, and it turns out undigested.
And if you need to cook and eat right now, then also by 0.5 mst. cereals 2.5 mst liquid, and set for 10-12 minutes.
And rice is my favorite porridge

And the cup that was, remained so, nothing interesting. Although I cook porridge in the morning every day or every other day, if at 1mst. doing
Stafa
All the same, I ordered a new bowl from China. And she is better in coverage than her own, although she is worse than Panaskina anyway. By weight it is 50 grams lighter (285g versus 338g native). But since no 2 liter pressure cookers appeared on sale in a year, and I have already become attached to the redber and I cook in it often, replacing the bowl will prolong the life of the pressure cooker for some time. Now it will be possible to send the bowl to the NEC for restoration, although this will also cost 1300 rubles with shipments back and forth. But this is a spare option if the new bowl turns out to be the same in terms of service life ... that is, short-lived.
Aygul
Stafa, show me the cup!

And my porridge began to run away - already 2 times, the temperature is gaining, and then I will have a day off for experiments, go, rinse everything well, and dry it ... yes, Light?

And I bought a Radber 301 (it was cheaper than 305)
In my opinion, 3 liters (working 2.5) is the best option for a small family

The instructions for the unit are simply magical - one for 10 models!

Technical characteristics and functionality in 301 - similar to 305
I didn't find how to insert pictures here, so I have to describe it on my fingers.
The size of the entire pan (CB and MV - in my understanding these are electric pots) - diameter 25, height also 25
Pot - diameter 20, height 10
The sealing ring in it is attached to the aluminum. disk, which is then attached to the top cover.
The blocking valve is clearer - an arrow is drawn on the cover, opposite which a block-reset is installed
Inside, in the center of the heating disc, there is aluminum. a stump on a spring - as far as I understand, this is an element of safety

First of all, I "prepared" the water - everything worked out: the valve was blocked, nothing splashed

Then there was cabbage: I cut it to the very roof, the saucepan puffed, sprinkled from the hole in the lid and steam escaped through the gasket.
It was scary - I thought it would blow.
The cabbage turned out to be disgusting - boiled, floating in its own juice.
While the liquid was evaporating, the cabbage was fried to the pot, the pot did not soak, I had to rub it with a hard sponge.
Silicone pads smelled ugly of boiled cabbage

No speed, no help, no tasty healthy food from CB has been observed yet
Econatura
But I was satisfied with the pilaf - it turned out to be a slightly risotte constitution, next time I will correct it with less liquid.
It took more time to fry the onion-carrot-meat than on the stove, but overall it turned out faster.
Nothing burned, the pot was washed easily.
The saucepan still carries boiled cabbage.

Quietly with myself I am conducting a conversation ...

Borscht in a multi-cooker pressure cooker is a disaster!
In no case should all the ingredients be put in at the same time and sealed !!! Especially the beets.
Meat and vegetables differ significantly in cooking time.
If you close meat and vegetables in a pressure cooker for 25 minutes. - you get a brown liquid from meat and cabbage, the rest of the vegetables creep into the waste.
I can't imagine how to finish this misunderstanding.
Next time I will cook borscht in a pressure cooker according to the traditional "tiled" technology: first boil the broth, then lay the vegetables, and after the end of cooking - boiled beets and herbs.
You will have to seal and depressurize the pressure cooker several times.
Stafa
I cook borscht in a pressure cooker, but I run the beets at the very end into the pressure cooker, after extinguishing the boiled beets in the microwave, and with the lid open until it boils.

So, on the stove, I also put boiled beets in borscht, even without roasting, in the last place - it will boil and turn off - a good beet color and taste is preserved.
Here I have my first experience of "communication" with MV-SV, I got bogged down, roughly speaking, abandoning everything at once.
And the cabbage from the pressure cooker is also frightening: both when stewing, and in borscht - it turns out to be soft and terribly smelly.

Hello. I want to buy a 2 liter pressure cooker, except for Redber there is nothing. Needed for soups, stewing vegetables, boil vegetables for salad. How much faster it will be than in a multicooker, taking into account the set and release of pressure. Many people write that the taste of vegetables cooked in a pressure cooker is not very good. Tell me who uses this pressure cooker, is it worth buying it or is it better to do everything in a multicooker. I am interested in cooking speed (how much faster) and taste.
Stafa
I cook mashed potatoes in it, in time - it turns out together with the set and the pressure cooker itself reduces the pressure for 30-35 minutes. Somehow I decided to cook potatoes in the cartoon - I was tired of waiting, I got used to it quickly. The taste of potatoes does not change compared to traditional cooking. I only collect soups in a pressure cooker on ready-made broth. I like rice porridge from a pressure cooker - it turned out to be the tastiest to taste (I cooked it both in a cartoon and in a slow cooker).
SSvetik
zhita, I have a Redber-305. Faster will be something that is cooked for a long time (legumes, barley, jellied meat, frozen meat broth, baked milk). Everything that is not cooked for very long, taking into account the pressure build-up, will be approximately the same in time.To taste - in all appliances (slow cooker, pressure cooker, slow cooker), the same dishes will somehow differ in taste. You need to adapt to any device and choose what works best in this saucepan. I bought a cheap pressure cooker to understand whether I needed it or not. I understood: I need it, although not immediately.

Cooking beets in a pressure cooker is much faster than in a multicooker, which I did until recently. And now I make medium beets in the microwave for 12 minutes. in a package at high power. I like it better than the pressure cooker and faster.
