Alexandrahas been around for a long time.

I didn't know .... Now I wanted an updated Masterchef like they write a convenient function.
Rieri
Yes, the master chef is very convenient, you can change the cooking time and temperature, and you can also record these changes as new program options. Very convenient for all kinds of experiments

Agree with you. It seems like you can save your recipes right in the cartoon. Now I am sitting and dreaming about multi with a master chef. It seems like soon Redmond will release a multicooker with wi fi, what progress has come ...
Olga 7
I bought today for my Redmond 4502, girlfriend assistant Redmond 150 ... the first thing I want to ask is I correctly understood that this cartoon does not have a clock on the scoreboard ???
Olga 7
I am glad that the casseroles from my 4502 fit calmly to the 150 model, otherwise I read that they did not fit because of some ears, so I immediately removed the new one for now, but as they write that it is not so hot due to the relief at the bottom.

Are you talking about the current time? Yes, right.
Olga 7
I'm sorry if I'm not here with a question I climb)) ... I wanted to make yogurt today, and since six o'clock he’s got a wound in the yogurt maker and the thermostat has not yet reached the temperature of 40 degrees. I won't see any sense anymore .. I’m thinking how to save my yoghurt to put the cups in the cartoon, as I understand it is imperative to put on a silicone mat and + pour water which is already 40 degrees somewhere half a liter right? and how much should I put it or will it not work out my yogurt?
Manna
The volume of water depends on the height of the cups. Put it at 4 o'clock, and then look at the state. Is it primary or secondary leaven?
Olga 7
no primal good food .... ordinary cups 200 grams. how much water to pour? and put a silicone mat.
Olga 7
And I forgot to ask immediately with the lids tightly closed when to put yogurt in the cartoon to do?
Manna
Silicone mat. Water is 1-2 cm below the top of the cups (under the neck).
Cover slightly with lids, do not close tightly.
Olga 7
nd)) it's not a lot with this cartoon)) you have to get a handle on the touch, as for me, it's better to use buttons) .. but how can I knock down the clock during cooking so that it’s not 8 hours, but 4?
---
Manna, thank you for your answers and advice.
Olga VB
If your MB has the "Multishef" function, then during the execution of the program you can change the time and temperature.
If there is no such function, then nothing can be changed.
You can only turn off ("cancel") and reinstall the program with the parameters you need.
As far as I know, the M150 is now available with a multi-chef function. The first models came without this feature.
Olga 7
and where is it to watch the multishef or not?
---
that is, I can only change the temperature and hour on a multi-cooker or what? and in 4502, the time could be adjusted immediately before the start, but here that there is no such thing?
Olga VB
In the description attached to MB.
Read the instructions, everything should be indicated there.

The temperature can only be adjusted in a multi-cooker, and the time in any program.
Read the INSTRUCTIONS, everything is written there.

Congratulations! A good choice my friend took the Redmond150 already updated with a master chef and she walks happily bragging about. And I also have 150 models, just an ordinary, burgundy super multicooker. What color do you have? Have a master chef?
Olga VB
so about this and speech, - the person does not know what he bought ...
Now he will read the instructions, tell us, then it will be clear what to advise and how to answer questions ...
Olga 7
multishef, this is a redmond 250.

and I took gold for myself, and where it says is there a master chef or not. I look in the instruction manual and don't find it ...
---
to see these updates only in Russia, but we have an old delivery in Ukraine 150))), of course, sorry ..
---
appeared with us, and they slipped me an old model ((((right now, I find out, maybe they'll change it to a new one, I only make yogurt in an old saucepan, and all their configurations are new, maybe they'll exchange)))
---
Now I'm thinking of changing or not changing to a cartoon with a master chef, is there only an update in a multi-cooker and a mustache? who has this function what functions ...
Manna

With a master chef, you can save your recipes directly to the multi memory, you can customize the programs as you want, change the temperature during cooking, as a friend said to water.
Rieri
Olga, if you cook only yoghurts, then the previous version will do. And if you like to cook complex dishes, often experiment or want to cook according to any recipes, then the "master chef" function will be very useful.
Olga 7
they didn't change me, they refused, I told them that I turned it on for several hours and then in my saucepan, they said you used it anyway, so it cannot be returned, but if only the water with lemon was boiled, then a return is possible ... so I will be without I don’t cook complex dishes for the master chef, as I cooked without a master chef in my 4502))) so I decided not to bother and not get upset)) right now I put the bread on the test))
Olga 7
bread did everything as it is written in the book, rose right up to the lid. right now I turned it over, as it is written 1 hour before the end of cooking, turn it over ... let's see the main thing so that it is not soggy inside., and so the handsome man may not fall from the fact that I turned him over

Why should I be upset with my own and without a master chef I'm happy. He cooks deliciously, the dishes do not burn quickly, the bowl can be washed easily and nothing else is needed. Even my husband helps me to cook small porridge, says with a cartoon Redmond is not difficult to do. I am nowhere without an assistant.
Olga 7
Yes, I think so too, I'm also happy with my Redmond 4502, but this one is even better))) Well, I just can't seem to cancel the heating during cooking ... and the sensor does not always work hard, it would be better if the buttons were on the button pressed and mustache ... while I just don't like the sensor))

Yes, Redmond does not stand still, so soon with a wi-fi model, it will probably be cool at all. It will be possible to control it from a phone or tablet, and even from anywhere.
Manna
Virgo, this topic is about 150. Topic about 4502 HERE, about 450 (with wi-fi) HERE... Good flood
Olga 7
Manna, sorry, I won't do it anymore))

Olga, there is just a special protection against accidental pressing is therefore it does not work immediately. And then a child will come up like this, poke once and all the cooking is smoked, but here it is more difficult for him to touch the food to spoil
Olga 7
Rieri, I understood thanks, and how to turn off the heating during cooking, which automatically turns on after everything is cooked. so that it does not turn on? ... otherwise it doesn’t work ..
Rieri
Olga, but you try not during, but before the start of cooking, to turn off the auto-heating. Just press on "auto-heating" and hold it for a few seconds, then it will turn off and after cooking it will not turn on. And when needed, turn it on exactly the same.
Olga VB
During cooking, you can also turn off the heating by pressing the "start / auto-heating" button again.
In this case, the "heating" button will stop glowing. And you will be happy!

It turns on the same way.

Actually, the instructions for this MB take only a couple of pages, why not read it ...

I also use such a Redmond slow cooker, I like how bread is made in it, and the glan does not burn to the bowl.
Here is the recipe: Regular yeast - 30 grams; Salt - 2 tsp; Sugar - 1 tsp; Milk (kefir, sour milk or water) - 1 cup; Flour 7-8 multi glasses; Butter (spread or margarine) - 50 grams.
I make dough and put it on baking, in the end it turns out very tasty))
quince
Well, today they brought me this slow cooker ... I took a steel bowl in addition. I boiled a slice of lemon lying in the fridge ("Steam" mode for 20 minutes). It smelled of plastic at first, but quickly passed. After that, I immediately quickly threw in washed rice 1.75 mstk, frozen peas 0.75 mstk, fresh carrots in small cubes 0.5 mstk, water 40 degrees. 3 mstk, a pinch of salt, a pinch of curry, 25 grams of plums. oil - and on the "Express" mode, after switching to heating turned off the MB. After 10 minutes we tasted it, it turned out perfectly well. We ate everything to the last grain. I'll go cook the soup, I'll unsubscribe later.
PS there were no foreign odors in the rice.
Olga VB
quince, congratulations on your purchase! Let it serve long and efficiently!

Olga VB, Thank you! I continue to test MV Redmond 150 (I have a cherry version).
The soup turned out to be excellent, the taste is not the same as on the stove, better. During cooking, I added 10 minutes.
She made a pork stew according to a recipe from her own recipe book. It so happened that my mother, who is generally capricious in food, ate a plate and praised MV
I put the yogurt overnight, tomorrow we'll see what happens.
The recipe book included in the kit is quite interesting.
Olga VB
That's fine! It's only the beginning!
Hello mom!
quince
And here is the first failure. The "Baking" mode at what temperature, maybe, who knows?
I put a bowl with a cupcake in the MV, set Baking to 1:10, pressed Start, and after a minute or two, the MV turned off and went to the program selection menu itself. I repeated the process, MV shut down again in the same way. What with her? Set Multipovar 135 degrees. 30 minutes. MV worked. The cupcake was not baked at all, remained wet, damp on the sides and top, and the bottom was badly burnt into a dense crust. I don’t understand anything, maybe someone will tell me something ...

I can't tell you about baking. Maybe something with the program. Check again on something else.
And for a multi-cook ... I would put 125 degrees and more time, about 40 minutes. It seems to me that the cake simply did not have time to bake, since the bottom was burnt due to the high temperature.

Yesterday I made bread according to your recipe and something wasn’t baked at all, I don’t know I baked for 4 hours on one side and 2 hours on the other I was tired of waiting and left it in the cartoon ... and when I did it according to the recipe from the book everything turned out great, 2 hours on one side and 1 hour on the other side and the bread turned out great, who knows why it happened. from the book, the recipe was with dry yeast, and I got it right under the lid, but here with fresh ones .. can only dry yeast be baked or what?

It turned out my jamb. A 7-year-old child suggested
It's all about the bowl, I put a steel one (made of stainless steel, which is for soups and compotes) and dough is already in it on baking paper. And with this bowl the Baking program does not start at all.
Conclusion: we bake pies and breads only in a bowl with a ceramic coating (I don't know about paper). Other cupcakes turned out without problems
So far, the only drawback of this MV is the lack of a drip tray, and, frankly, it is sorely lacking.
Olga VB
It seems that you and I have different MV
In my CF Redmond RMC-M150, the operation of programs, including baking, does not depend on the bowl: the CF does not analyze this.
I never use paper. If you really need it, you can grease the bowl with oil and you can also sprinkle it with flour or semolina.
I personally consider the absence of a drip tray to be an advantage of this model: nothing drips anywhere, all moisture collects in the groove around the bowl, then only this groove remains to get wet with a napkin - very clean and convenient.
Ofeliya
The stainless steel bowl has low thermal conductivity, so the baked goods may well not work correctly.
Olga VB
Ofeliya, Are you serious? In what physics did you learn this?
Manna
Thermal conductivity coefficient of aluminum - 175-220, steel - 40-45.
Olga VB
Mannyun, in the case of MV bowls, this can only slightly affect the heating time, but in no way on the correct operation of programs in general and "baking" in particular.
Masinen
Olga VB, Ol, baking in a steel bowl will not work! I checked it myself)
The bottom will burn, and the top will be damp.
Olga VB
Strange, but I somehow made a casserole in it (the ceramics were busy), so everything turned out very worthy.
I greased the bottom with oil and sprinkled with semolina.
Manna
The bottom of the steel bowl warms up more, and the sides are worse, because the bottom burns, and the middle is not baked. The aluminum bowl heats up quickly and evenly, making it more suitable for baking.
Olga VB
Different steel grades have different thermal conductivity.
Which one our bowls have, I don't know.
The thermal conductivity of cast iron, on average, is almost half the thermal conductivity of steel (although it is also different for different brands).
But in cast iron everything is perfectly baked, baked, etc., and does not burn.
I find it difficult to compare hot with sour, but my experience with baking in a stainless steel bowl was successful.
