Second small Zepter stove in the second kitchen. Glass ceramics
You can take two surfaces with 2 rings each. Or look, suddenly there are mixed ones.
OlgaGera
Ludmila, I was presented with a Siemens induction cooker for 5 burners. She is very good to me. like. And then such a bummer (((
I don't want to play with glass ceramics. Efficiency too low. And 20 years of using it, I'm tired of it. Heats up. There is also a way out - a wood stove. I'll play)))
Twig
Nuacho, put the Zepter in a pyramid on the wood-burning stove and cook. I remember that they just positioned themselves as a saucepan that cooks itself.

Veta, never cooked like that. Used as a regular saucepan.
for me here is the main griller))). Well, essno, I use all the pots as frying pans. Now what?
Lakush2013
Ladies, I have a chain cookware for over 10 years, an induction hob for 4 years. Everything cooks perfectly, even fry pancakes in two small pans at once. There are no dishes from another company. I just fry the fish in a cast-iron frying pan; in the zepter, the second batch starts to stick.
OlgaGera
Persuaded))) put the stove, bring the dishes, then I will panic)))))
Twig
Lakush2013, and are you preparing everything through a pancake adapter?
dopleta
Quote: Igrig
the adapter turns your induction unit into an about antediluvian pancake cooker.
Then what's the point of changing the cool progressive induction from Siemens to a conventional electric one? Just for the dishes? Many people find it wiser to change dishes for the pleasure of using a convenient stove all their lives. And with great pleasure and quite successfully, although not often, I use pancakes-adapters when cooking in a ceramic tagine.

My cookware was bought before 2000, it does not work on an induction cooker.

Well, it's understandable, but a gift.
Although I do not understand the complaints about glass ceramics, my Siemens is 10 years old, an excellent cooker, and high efficiency, everything boils quickly. But it burns if boiled away, this is a minus.
By the way, there is an induction one, I had to adapt to it with dishes from our plant in the city of Salda. This stove turns off every now and then if it seems to it that the dishes are overheated, and then it does not turn on, unlike glass ceramics. And this is a minus.
So there is no perfection in life.

And I would rather change it than the stove. There is our fine tableware Gourmet, Russian zepter. I like her
I will give the zepter to my daughter-in-law ...

Yes, I wrote about her. in the post above.
She's at my dacha.
The Zepter had some point where they flock to make induction cookware, so you have to try ...
A friend has a saucepan from 2001; she is already working on induction.
OlgaGera
Ludmila, thanks. I changed three saucepans under warranty, maybe they will stick

What is this model, with extras? Can you at least find out the brand name? Better yet, the model itself.

I don’t even know better than a Gourmet what kind of cookware works on induction. I can fry cutlets on Tefale for 6-7, and on Gourmet for 4-5.

You will laugh, but this is a Zepter induction cooker given to me by my relatives due to the fact that I have a lot of Zepter products.
Bijou
Exocat, uzhs.)) My condolences. It is written beautifully, and the behavior is like a seedy "China".

It was in a review about some German brand that the panel was cut down even when frying potatoes due to overheating. Either Steba, or Rommelsbacher, I always confuse them ..)
Twig
Bijou, on which Gourmet do you fry the cutlets? In a stainless steel pan?
I also have a Gourmet, already 12 years old, I'm not overjoyed. How new! Only the frying pan is not in use. I put it on some mezzanine, I don't even remember. I extinguished earlier in it. Now multicooker is in use.
For the pancakes, I have two de Buyer pancake pans. But the meat is not accustomed to frying in debeyers.
Bijou
Quote: Twig
Biju, on which Gourmet do you fry the cutlets? In a stainless steel pan?
Well yes. On two. 20 and 24. And there is also Zwilling on 28. I fry the meat exclusively on stainless steel. Nothing else. It's a pity to heat Teflon to such temperatures, I disdain with cast iron .. On a cast iron I can only fry seeds and khachapuri.))
Lakush2013
A twig, no, not through an adapter. The dishes are right on the panel.

BijouSweetheart, teach me how to fry me with no hands on a stainless steel
I have a Gourmet and Kuhar, as well as hands from f .. s, help, be kind !!!
Bijou
Umchik, Duc in the topic about dishes a hundred times said. And there seem to be a lot of photos, and advice, I won't say anything smarter. One time out of ten my pancakes can start to stick, but what difference does it make to meat? Or are we talking about different meat. Small pieces over high heat with stirring and I'm not doing very well. I guessed, but one day I checked. I made sure I guessed correctly. Therefore, small pieces (instant) without braising are a non-stick frying pan. And pieces such as a steak or chicken breast are just stainless steel.

Gourmet Frying Pan with Corrugated Bottom
OlgaGera, I have a flat bottom.

In general, I am very sorry for the money spent and continue to search (read) a good induction pan. In the meantime, my hands will help me !!!
Girls, Thanks to all!!! How to buy a cool frying pan for myself, I will definitely unsubscribe.

dopleta
Umka19, You do not consider NMP with titanium coating, only stainless steel? I really like these pans.
Umka
Quote: dopleta

No, I won't buy a stainless steel for any price!
Quote: dopleta
Titanium coated NMP is not considered
dopleta, thanks to your experience and authority, I will turn my eyes to the products of the NMP. Thanks for the advice!!!

What pancakes ... I can't even make scrambled eggs / scrambled eggs.
So I also have a hard time scrambled eggs, but I won't even take an omelet on a stainless steel!

Each frying pan has its own tasks. And the stainless steel in my house is primarily used to unload non-stick pans. Well, why would I start tormenting Tefal for several thousand for frying vegetables in soup or borscht, when the stainless steel will happily do it for me in its best possible way? The same with cutlets, fish, pancakes or stewed cabbage.) Well, and the meat in pieces on a hot fry - so I can't think of anything better than stainless steel.

I have induction, I gape a little and I'm sorry, goodbye, non-stick frying pan, it was nice to meet you.
Umka
Quote: Bijou
why should I torment Tefal
Bijou, Lena, sorry for the idiotic question, what remains (in the bottom line) for Tefal's work ???

Kokoschka
Umka19, I have pancakes yes very successful on an 8 ke induction pan.
Bijou
Umka19
They fried potatoes today.)) So as not to be fooled. I can also use a stainless steel, but it is there that you need to fry, that is, over high heat and without leaving. On calm it sticks. Omelettes / scrambled eggs. Cheesecakes made from very fatty cottage cheese. Meat in small pieces (or minced meat) with stirring. Mmmm ... Ah, more pilaf! I consistently fry everything, including rice, in a pan, then pour water right there, cover with a lid, wrap it with a towel and leave it on the timer.))

Well, "hot salads", that is, stir-fry. They are the main killers of my pans.
Umka

Kokoschka, manufacturer who? Stainless steel frying pan or ???
Bijou

Lena, do you have a wok ???

And the point is to me in it, on induction? A frying pan large at the bottom takes 2 kilowatts of heat, and a wok with a bottom half that and takes half the heat. This will already be porridge, not wash-fry.))) I need highly hot - usually I cook 5 portions at a time and some of the food is frozen.

Umka19, I have a lot of photos of food on a stainless steel. I brought one almost random.))
Induction cookware

There is a whole series, I experimented at what stage of ruddy the cutlets can be turned over without sticking. Well, as usual, the photos turned out - but the cutlets did not turn out. It turned out that even barely touched by heat, they already turn over perfectly, it is not at all necessary to wait for the crust to form:

No, specifically this is a multi-layered Zwilling. The gourmet is the biggest 24 cm, and this one is 28.) That pies fit more.

Tell me, does cast-iron cookware behave normally?
Only became heavy for me (((
Umka19, Ludmila, what is wrong with the fire of meat on a gourmet.? Why didn't you like the dishes? I fell in love with her dearly. Tell me, otherwise I'm still going to buy.

I have separate pans for meat. Just don't throw your slippers at me. two pans. I don't cook anything else on them. Only pieces of meat in winter. Bonfire in summer. Cutlets and pancakes only in a coated pan. And I have stainless steel for different goulash, beef stroganoff, meat pieces.)))
Lakush2013
Cast iron on induction behaves perfectly. For me, I would fry everything in a cast-iron pan. But, steel dishes can be sent to the dishwasher, but cast iron cannot. And steel looks more beautiful on the stove than black cast iron. And the quality of frying is just excellent.
OlgaGera
Marina, I have cast iron in the PMM. Only all the cells in the machine were bent))) It is coated. Long-standing.
Quote: Lakush2013

Give me free rein, I would paint everything black. Favorite color))). I have gray cast iron ((((
Lakush2013
And I'm afraid that the cast iron in the dishwasher will rust, so I wash it with my hands.
OlgaGera
Lakush2013, no, no, I have another cast iron. There is an icon. So I'm only talking about myself
dopleta
Cast iron, although it works great on induction, refused. NMP frying pans with titanium coating are very close to cast iron (the same plump, heavy), even in their description it is written about it, but with them it is much easier - and they do not scratch the panel, and you can scrape metal over them, and do not burn over time, like ceramics.
Kokoschka
Larissa, and do they have an induction badge or just a titanium coated should you look at?
Umka
Lily, I understand that Larissa advises us this series

Kokoschka
Ludmila, probably.
I just went and looked at the company in the frying pan ...alas, no logos.
I don’t know now Tatiana is running a joint venture or has she already stopped?
But she can clarify what kind of company. Light frying pan with stone coating (it seems so called)

Virgo, hello.
I bought induction yesterday. I read about dishes, about cooking. About meat, fish, potatoes I more or less understood. Although I have not tried anything yet, there are no dishes at all. But what about buckwheat rice? When I cooked on a simple electric one, I fell asleep in boiling water, turned it off, wrapped it on top and everything worked out fine for me. How about?
dopleta
Here the burner cools down almost immediately, it is hot only because of the heated bottom of the pan. Therefore, either cook until fully cooked, or use a multi or slow cooker. And congratulations! If you get used to it, you will be very happy!

And then pour it into boiling water, let it boil, set it to a minimum with a weak boil, cover it with a towel and set the timer to turn off. Start at 12 minutes, then decide for yourself.
Rita
kolobashka, do you have enameled dishes? It can be used for induction.
kolobashka
I bought a couple of pots and a frying pan in Ikea today. Steel. I don’t have a timer.

In Auchan, NWO, the dishes are so expensive! The toad strangled me.
dopleta
Oh, so you bought the desktop? I did not understand, I thought it was an induction panel.
