I have this cartoon at work, in the country, and at my mother. Mom cooks dairy soups and cereals in soup. The pastries are very good baked goods, only they do not work like in other mv. Basically, we cook everything on steam. I often make a dish. - duo, in a steam basket potatoes, down chicken parts. Scrambled eggs or scrambled eggs are also steamed. Fast, convenient. I also steam cereals for nkhgarnir, 1: 2.
Lerele
And I have such a cartoon, I love it dearly, cereals, cereal side dishes, macaroons, everything is on it. Sometimes the soup, rarely true, baked once a long time, for a long time to me in it, but very happy with the cartoon, very much.

my mother (85) has been using this Sonechka for 2 years already, because of her age, I took her away from the gas stove

got used to, she cooks all her simple grandmother's soup-porridge-chicken in Sonechka and is not afraid to forget about her - it will stand on heating, only it becomes tastier

redleafa, Lerele, Irsha, Girls, thank you heartily, for responding.
I am looking for a rice cooker, my daughter loves sushi, this one looked very much to me for its simplicity, compactness and pretty appearance.
And the fact that you can still cook other porridge and soup in it, you can say BONUS.
THANK YOU SO MUCH

two inconveniences - there is no sound signal and the cooking time is only by default

Lerele,
I have Oursson with one button, buckwheat, barley, basmati, potatoes, pasta, ratatouille, ajapsandal, omelet, eggs in tomatoes, bread, biscuit, charlotte cooks deliciously.
There is one program, it works until evaporation, then * fry it a little *, but barely. (Therefore, it is gorgeous to do frying in borscht)
And does Panasonic only evaporate, or does it just stick a little at the end?
Kestrel
brendabakerI think judging by my copy, then on express \ steam can and grab, but on white rice, that is, in the Russian version of the program "milk porridge", I think it should turn out well.
Then tell us about your findings, how will you do it?
brendabaker
Kestrel,
Anna, there is one big BUT:
It turns out well in SENSOR MODE, and * white rice *, in this model the same automatic program as about * milk porridge * in my Redmond 02? Or is it still not?
That is, having bought 101 Panasonic, I am afraid that I can duplicate the capabilities I already have?
That is why I have been thinking for so long.
I have a high-quality cooker (which bakes biscuits well) and a small slow cooker, while I look at the recipes on and on this branch, I still can't decide.
If I get myself together, then, of course, I will report. (I put it in the basket, here I sit and think. 1590 rubles price + 390 rubles delivery.)

Ira, here for me, too, for soups, I'm sorry to soak Redmond 02 with different smells, he cooks my milk and cocoa perfectly, and every morning the dog's porridge ... here a sound signal is important for me to wake up.
And in the afternoon, when we are at home, we will put it about for lunch and an hour earlier, an hour later, for the soup it doesn’t matter, it’s important that it’s not on the stove.
Although I'm not 85, but I ALSO love simple appliances most of all and most of all I have a rice cooker with one button. (But you can't cook soup in it without control, it boils over)

here for me too for soups,
for 1 cycle of * soup * meat, of course, will not cook
soup meat, and even with a bone, is usually sinewy, it takes much more time to cook it

I cook meat and bone broths for a long time in my large slow cooker and take them to my mother in jars (under twisting), and she is already making herself soup in the finished broth

she herself mainly cooks chicken soups, 1 cycle cooks meat + 2 cycle puts all the vegetables

it is also good to cook meatball soups, quick potato soups with homemade dumplings in such one-button multicooker

also, if you take your time: pork in pieces + onion = baked goods, then + vegetables + hot water = soup = very rich rich soup (even simple potato, even cabbage soup, even borsch)

this baby, like other multishey, for quicksoup

light pilaf - on chicken - it turns out well on baked goods, pour boiling water, rather shavlya, of course, not pilaf, multicooker pilaf is not cooked
brendabaker
Irsha,
Ira, then it seems to me that it makes sense for me to take the second Redmond 02 for these 2000 rubles and let one cook milk, and the second soup.

redleafa
Well, I don’t know, we sauté the rye on steam, cut the meat and also grab it on the steam. Then we put everything else, vegetables, cereals and pour boiling water. Switch to soup mode. 1 cycle, soup is ready. From any meat. And nothing is digested.

Oksana, I think you will not regret it. I use Redmond 01 at home, and I bought such a Panasik for my friends, its functions are certainly less limited, but it is slightly larger in volume and if you are in no hurry, then the cooking time does not bother, and when I want to speed up the cooking process, I turn on the steam cooking mode. I love baking mannika in both models, in Redmond it turns out to be fried, although it takes less time to bake, and in Panasika it tastes more tender.

And who does what on the MILK Porridge program?
Share, PLZ, recipe: mail1: Can meat on it, or stew vegetables?
Or cabbage rolls?

Added Wednesday 31 Aug 2016 5:14 PM

all15,
I called the PANASONIK hotline and found out everything firsthand ..
For the Russian market, the MULTI-COOKERS were specially modernized
That is, BAKERY is baked goods,
And MILK porridge is exactly milk porridge.
Although, judging by the fact that they visited me, these changes consist in the fact that the mode of MILK Porridge and BAKING was made with a time limit of up to 1 hour 20 minutes in either case, instead of 1 hour 50 minutes, for BROWN RICE and before boiling off 3 cups of water at WHITE RICE.

The Milk porridge program runs until the liquid has evaporated if the liquid is less than 4-5 cups.
I cooked 1 m glass of long rice + 1.75 m glass of water + salt + 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil.
She cooked for 30 minutes, if not more, then switched to heating.
At the bottom was the thinnest, light * glass * crust, which I easily dissolve, adding a little water, mixed the rice and letting it stand in the turned off multicooker for a couple of minutes.
Seasoned with butter and soy sauce.
Got 2 servings of side dish.

For a couple, probably, or all, so how do you manage to adapt the Baking? Or something else?
I'm still at a loss, so I'm asking for details

I just handed over the first multicooker to the store yesterday, explaining to them that instead of the multicooker they sold me a rice cooker with the BROWN RICE program. And the hotline confirmed that this should not be so, that the devices for Russia were specially modernized, and mine needs to be taken to the service for diagnostics.
But the second one bakes the same way.
Is it just me?
Or your baking starts right away, so my biscuit is unimportant, and many have lush and normal pastries.
Putting SUCH as my cycle again is not serious.

PEARL BARLEY
 Multicooker Panasonic SR-DF101
I took a 1 m glass of barley grits, put it in a heat-resistant bowl and scalded it, adding 500 ml of boiling water.
Then it washed well with running water to remove starch and dirt and dug out on a sieve.
I put it in a multicooker bowl, added 3.5 m glass of water, salt and 1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil.
Turned on the BAKE mode.
For 1 hour, the cereal lay in hot water, in my opinion this is the fashionable word fermentation now, but here I may be mistaken with the word.
After an hour of steaming, the process of cooking cereals begins.
For about 10 minutes, the device actively picks up the temperature and then boils so actively for 5 minutes that I praised myself both for having drained excess starch and for not buying oil, otherwise the foam would go through the valve.
Then the appliance drops the temperature and cooks over medium heat until the liquid is completely evaporated, this is about another 1 hour.
And fries the crust at the end. VERY HARD. You need iron teeth to gnaw such porridge.
When I looked at this crust, at first I was very scared for my teeth.
Then she turned off the device, added 2 / 3m of a glass of warm water and let it stand under the lid for 5 minutes.
The crust has dissolved, but the pleasant, bready taste remains.
Although, if an elderly person with porcelain teeth is at home, I would advise you to turn off the device a little in advance, after about 1h50min. from the beginning of the program.

In this mv, the baking program works exactly the same as for boiling brown rice. But she bakes biscuits wonderfully. The dough should be no more than 500 grams. And do not take it out right away, let it stand for another 20 minutes on heating
brendabaker

I called the PANASONIK hotline and they told me that the device should not work this way, that I need to hand it over for free warranty diagnostics to a specialized PANASONIK service center.
The multicooker supplied to Russia has been modernized, it is NOT a rice cooker.

During the time that I did not have her, I missed her soups, so I grabbed her and rushed home.
And here's the porridge, and at the same time I found out that this mode turns off in time, after 1.5 hours from the beginning of cooking, and if there is less liquid, then the device turns off only when it is fried, such as pilaf
And when self-confidence collides with a different opinion and gets hit on the forehead, we broaden our horizons and become wiser
So I gained experience and cooked myself a cool porridge without a crust, I eat and I am happy.

You can cook porridge on stewing, it will take 25 minutes. But in this mv, extinguishing is more active than in other Panasonic, you will have to look. Or, alternatively, grease a saucepan with butter and cook the porridge with plenty of water.
