I have a kettle, I don’t want a waffle iron, I don’t really like it, it’s still bulky.

Beautiful girls! Please tell me who are the happy owners of a heated bowl for a planetary mixer, what is the principle of its operation: is it separately connected to electricity or hot water or something else? I called the Moscow office, but they haven't seen him yet and are at a loss to answer. 😒 I really want to buy in the states and not overpay to anyone, but stops the need to buy a transformer.

Well, I finally got my hands on testing my mixer. The test went perfectly well, I kneaded the minced meat. I was struck by the sound, only a quiet hum, not like my kneader, which works like a tractor. I love KitchenAid more and more.
Antonovka
Tanyusha,
Well, and nice, Tanyush))) My old kneader also worked louder

Can I knead pancake dough with this mixer?
Instead of kneading with a spoon, thick dough with flour?
Thank you

Sure you may! Why not ?
I always knead the pancake dough with them)

Pancake dough.
First, beat the egg (eggs) with salt and sugar with a whisk (mixer). At what speed?
Then (following the recipe) add the flour, put on the "regular" mixing attachment, mix. At what speed?
Thank you
Tanyusha
Iskatel-X, and not only for pancakes, you can mix everything in it. I really like to mix stuffing in it.

... and not only for pancakes
It's clear.
I ask for a specific batch. I want pancakes, I can't knead them by hand, in any case, I won't be able to - evenly without lumps, there is no experience. A mixer will help.
Questions - for a hand mixer, however, there is not much difference, just ease of use and performance.
Thank you
Irina F
Iskatel-X, I honestly don’t bother changing nozzles. I have been baking for several years according to the same recipe - thin, lacy pancakes, these are exactly what we like.
So, I put all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk it until the dough is uniform!
Something like that)

... I put all the ingredients in a bowl and whisk until the dough is homogeneous
Don't you need to beat the eggs first?
Whisk - can you knead the thick dough? Precisely with a whisk (elliptical, many wires). Will the whisk hold up?
Questions are for a hand mixer.
Sorry, for the "dummies" questions. I have never kneaded the dough, for nothing, but I want pancakes.

Thanks to everyone who answered.

PS I coped with the cheesecakes, kneaded the truth by hand, but it turned out delicious!
Irina F
Iskatel-X, I repeat once again that my dough is for thin pancakes, but it is usually liquid.
And more dense, for pancakes, knead with another nozzle.
And I don't bother with beating eggs separately for pancakes - why? Here is a biscuit, this is another matter)
Iskatel-X
Irina F
I will also make thin pancakes on the water.
beating eggs for pancakes - why
Why - I would understand myself!
Then, that in the recipe so, and the video is, only there everything is manually.
I am adapting the recipe for the mixer, so I ask.
/ To avoid splashing the dough on the walls ... /
Thank you.

How can you adjust?
Seven-year plan
Natasha, I remember that there was something written in the passport ...
What if the whisk is far from the bottom ... or vice versa clings ...
Somewhere there is a magic screw there ... and somehow you can adjust ...

But I can't say for sure. I read it for a long time, but this information was postponed! ...

Good afternoon, happy owners of KitchenAid. I killed a couple of days while reading this thread about the mixer of my dreams))))
Questions remain
Due to the fact that the price in Russia is very substantial, I am looking more and more at buying a KitchenAid Artisan Mixer over the hill. But of course several questions confuse. I understand that there are owners of overseas mixers here.
Questions:
If you buy in America, you need a transformer. With its presence, the mixer power is slightly lost. The question is how much? Is it critical? My husband in this matter inclines me to the prof model, but I don't need such a big car. I bake mainly for family and friends. I am not fond of industrial scale
There was also an idea to buy in Europe, but the price immediately rises, although if we also take into account the cost of the transformer, it is probably the same. And do I understand correctly that the European guarantee is also not available to us?
Well, one more question, I saw a whole thread about Kenwood, but damn there are 300 pages. Does it make sense to look in their direction? It seems to me that the price for them is also high.
Thanks in advance for the answers
