Orange pie The smell of Christmas (multicooker Brand 37501)

Ingredients

for the test
eggs 4 things.
flour 1.5 cups
sugar 1 glass
baking powder 1 tsp
for glaze:
orange 2 pcs.
butter 2 tbsp. spoons
sugar 3 table. spoons

Cooking method

  • Prepare the dough: beat the eggs with sugar into an elastic foam, gently add the flour mixed with baking powder. We select the program "Manual" 150 degrees, 60 minutes.
  • While the biscuit is preparing, we are preparing the icing: we peel one orange, disassemble it into slices, remove the film from the slices. Remove the zest from the second orange. We squeeze juice from it.
  • Put 3 tablespoons of sugar in a pan, pour out the juice, put the zest, peeled slices, cook for 30 minutes (until transparent). I did this in a slow cooker by setting the "Stew" program for 30 minutes. After that, add 2 tablespoons of butter to the glaze, mix until the butter dissolves and pour hot onto the cake. We put it in the refrigerator so that the cake is soaked.
  • Bon Appetit!

I have such stains from time to time, I think from baking powder, this is not specially done

I have a glass of 250 ml, maybe you have a different flour, my biscuit is always soft

Yes, it is from baking powder, and it happens in other pies. It turns out pretty.

Soaked by morning. Despite the dense sponge cake, it was soaked very well. We had a delicious breakfast. Everyone is happy. The younger children did not like the impregnation: not so sweet. I was glad: adults will get more. Thanks for the recipe. In a timely manner. Now from the delicious fruits only citrus and persimmon. So, it turned out like winter.

and pour the hot icing onto the hot sponge cake? Or can I let it cool? And another question - when the biscuit was baked, did they put paper or grease the bowl with butter?
Psichika
The multicooker bowl allows you to cook biscuits without placing paper. I take out the biscuit warm from the bowl, because I'm afraid that it will settle, so I poured the icing onto a warm biscuit :)

Thank you))) I'll try your recipe today. Hope it doesn't burn)
