Rice porridge stewed with pumpkin and fruit in the Oursson 5005 pressure cooker

Ingredients

Krasnodar rice 200 grams
Milk or cream 10% 750-800 ml.
Condensed milk with sugar 100-150 grams
Butter 30-40 grams
Fresh pumpkin 500 grams
Fresh apple 1 PC. large
Light raisins 100g
White sugar 3-4 tbsp. l.
Salt taste

Cooking method

  • You can not pre-process the pumpkin and immediately put it raw in a saucepan. But, I don't like raw pumpkin in porridge, so I always fry the pumpkin in butter, and only then add it to the porridge.
  • The pumpkin can be fried directly in the pressure cooker in the Roasting or Baking mode.
  • I cut the pumpkin into pieces of about 1.5x1.5 cm. Pre-melted the butter in a frying pan and then added the pumpkin pieces to the butter and quickly fried the pumpkin over high heat for several minutes. After roasting, the pumpkin leaves the raw pumpkin taste and smell, it becomes tasty.
  • I transfer the pumpkin to the saucepan of the pressure cooker, add condensed milk on top.
  • Now I put half of the rice on top of the pumpkin, now the apples are cut into 1.5x1.5 cm pieces, the washed raisins, then another row of the remaining rice.
  • Pour milk or cream (or a mixture of milk and cream) on top, add sugar, salt to taste.
  • Close the lid of the pressure cooker, expose TUMMY mode, pressure 2, time 1 hour, I press the Start button.
  • I wait for the first 15 minutes, until the milk boils in a saucepan and the rice boils a little and I decrease the pressure to 1 (minimum) and bring the porridge to readiness.
  • Please go to the table, the porridge is ready!

In a whisper: maybe a recipe not for a pressure cooker ...
I often cook milk pumpkin porridge, but when adding an apple, the milk sometimes curdles, even when I put the apple at the very end of cooking

In a whisper: maybe a recipe not for a pressure cooker ...

THANK YOU!

Also in a whisper
Fry the pumpkin in a frying pan in butter and put in a saucepan.
Add everything else, as written in my recipe and simmer over low heat, covered. First, let it boil a little, and then reduce the heat to low and simmer. Let the porridge steam and sweat well, this will only make it tastier!

This happens with milk; sour and fresh apples can curdle. Therefore, you can replace fresh apples with dried apples, cut into pieces, rinse and into porridge. Or you can replace apples with other dried fruits: pears, peaches, pineapple and others

Bon Appetit!

Admin, thanks again!
I will experiment, taking into account your recommendations. I just love pumpkin gruel, I taught everyone at home to use it: in the morning, for breakfast - a sweet thing! And tasty and healthy

Try replacing rice with millet, or rice and millet together in different proportions - it’s also delicious! You can mix two rice: Krasnodar and parboiled, I also do that, then the porridge is softer than with one parboiled.
And be sure to try the porridge with fried pumpkin - I hope you enjoy it!

I cook pumpkin porridge and rice and millet, but I didn't think of mixing cereals ... Yes, and before putting the pumpkin in the porridge, I always boiled it. Now I will fry according to your advice. That's for sure: live and learn! ...

: hi: Tatiana! Kashka lovely. Excellent as always. But for condensed milk over pumpkin fried in butter, a special THANKS. What kind of mild pumpkin flavor should you get? Hands have already started to itch, especially since there are a lot of pumpkins this year ..

Natasha, the porridge is really very tender! The milk is completely absorbed, the rice is steamed! And I must say that the porridge is not very sweet, despite the fact that I added condensed milk and sugar.
Delicious! The recipe has the right to life!

Tanya, a week has passed since I cooked this porridge in a Panasonic multicooker, and I will never forget its taste. For a long time I was ripe for this recipe, but somehow there was no condensed milk in the house, but then everything worked out, it was impossible to pull further. I already had a presentiment of this taste and smell!
True, she made her own adjustments to the recipe: she reduced something, added something (I made rice in half with millet), replaced some of the cream (not enough) with water, added some candied orange fruits (left after cooking candied pumpkin fruits). But all the same, the taste of the porridge turned out to be royal! THANK YOU!
Admin

csv, the most important thing of all that has been said is the Tsar's taste! And replacements can and should be done based on your own taste.

I am very glad that the porridge came to taste, cook for health!

The porridge is ready! Still the truth did not open the lid. time took 1 hour 10 minutes. Cooking is a pleasure - not like trying to set your avatar. After suffering for half an hour, I gave up this hopeless business. I don’t understand how I did everything right - but the avatvr is not loaded.

I'm waiting for the result! It's very interesting to know what happened to your taste

So so. The porridge is delicious. If I were to give marks, I would give a solid four. I did not fry the pumpkin in oil, I consider it superfluous. Everything else is prescription. The rice is boiled well, not sticky. But I love it when he is a little more poignant. It's a matter of taste. As for the gushchenki, it seems delicious, but you can do without it. Next time I will cook rice in water - and after cooking, I will eat with the addition of milk, it seems to me that it tastes better. much depends on the quality of the rice itself - therefore it must be chosen carefully. I'll post the photo later.

So this is not your porridge, not your taste. This is CRUSHED porridge (therefore, it is cooked on this mode for a long time), it should be soft. And the pumpkin was not fried in vain, the pumpkin tastes much better, there is no dampness inherent in pumpkin. You can still explain for a long time about the intricacies of cooking this porridge and why it should be cooked this way - but if the taste is not yours, then it is not yours.

Love rice without additives, cook the rice separately and drink it with milk. For this, the porridge mode is suitable, pressure 1, the time is 30-40 minutes, and 30 minutes is more firm.

Can you please tell me how to correct your wonderful recipe for cookie 1054?
and even if the milk is replaced with water, how will the proportion change?
(I have an intolerance to milk since childhood)
Admin

If we talk about the TURNING mode, it means cooking for a long time at a low temperature, then in 1054 it is better to do this using the Slow Cooker program. In this mode, many prepare milk porridge, the time is about 1 hour.

You can replace milk with water, but it will already be a different porridge
i_am_alenka
Thanks for the help.

I wanted to clarify yet, did not find the "Slow cooker" mode in 1054, but there is a "Dolgovarka" mode, in which it is necessary to set the temperature level and time, which ones are not quite clear to set (did not cook on it even once)?

I close the lid of the pressure cooker, set the STEERING mode, pressure 2, time 1 hour, press the Start button.
I wait for the first 15 minutes until the milk boils in a saucepan and the rice is boiled a little and I reduce the pressure to 1 (minimum) and bring the porridge until cooked.

All the same, I want to try to cook this dish in water.

I apologize for pestering, I just saw recipes for 1054 from you, so I ask for your expert opinion.
Thank you.

It is advisable to ask all questions about the operation of kuku 1054 here https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/index.php@option=com_smf&topic=72586.640 a topic specifically to help.

The long cooker is a slow cooker, but they are called differently for different models.
As far as I remember, there is such a program on the control panel, you just need to set the time and cooking level - ask for more details on the link, I don't remember already
