Ciabata with pesto

Ciabata with pesto

Ingredients

Pesto sauce 1 teaspoon per piece
Chiabata 1-2 loaves. Depends on the number of consumers

Cooking method

  • I bring to your attention an absolutely cool snack.
  • Italian ciabatta bread is taken. For example, this one is sold in large supermarkets.
  • Ciabata with pesto
  • Better yet, baked according to the recipe from this site :-)
  • The pesto sauce is being prepared. The recipe can be easily found on the Internet. There are a great many of them.
  • I prefer this
  • Basil bunch (green)
  • Pine nuts (handful)
  • Garlic (one clove)
  • Parmesan (Parmgiano Reggiano, Grana Padano, Pecorino) - cut into slices
  • Oil (I make a mixture of olive and sunflower)
  • I don’t give exact proportions because I do everything "by eye"
  • Beat everything in a blender, but not "into flour". The cheese should be fine grains.
  • We cut the bread into slices 11 mm thick. Why is it so accurate, you ask? I just cut on a slider and this is the maximum size.
  • Place the sliced bread in a suitable tray and put in the oven (grill 220 g for 8 minutes)
  • We take out and grease with sauce - about a teaspoon per piece.
  • Ciabata with pesto
  • It is best to eat right away.
  • Bon Appetit!!!!

Time for preparing:

10 minutes

I do the same, only on an ordinary baguette fried in butter on both sides. Terribly tasty, no less terribly high in calories. But everything is destroyed instantly.

Try it on ciabat. It has a different crumb structure. And it's a little saltier than a standard baguette. And if you also put a few slices of tomato on top ...

I like that with pita bread. Grease pesto pieces of pita bread, cheese there, wrap in an envelope and fry in oil on both sides.
