  • As a rule, after such recommendations, we lose the desire to read further, since we do not have this broth in our presence, we still need to run for meat and cook ... Or use purchased bouillon cubes, which probably did not lie next to the meat.
  • I am telling you how I make bouillon cubes myself and at home.
  • First, I cook chicken broth, for which I prefer to buy chicken "waste", ridges, boneless breasts and other meat. A very rich and transparent broth is obtained from such meat. I usually cook broth in a pressure cooker.
  • I filter the finished broth through a sieve, pour it into plastic containers, and put it in the freezer for storage. Then such jars come in very handy when you need to add broth instead of water, for example, in cereals for cooking porridge, in sauces, or you just wanted to drink broth with bread, pie and thereby replace dinner or other meal.

  • A homemade chicken was bought (a small chick under 2.5 kg weight) and had to be cooked in parts. Here is one of the pieces of chicken (chicken legs) I cooked yesterday in a slow cooker. I added salt and grass-ants to the broth for taste.
  • The broth was very rich and too fatty. Therefore, I let the broth settle so that all the fat floated up, and I drained the fat and broth into a separate bowl, filtered and poured into ice molds. Then she froze the molds in the freezer. The molds show that the fat is unevenly distributed, where there is a lot of it, where it is not enough. Well, let it be - we will then determine where and how many cubes to put and for how much water.

  • Then I put the cubes in bags and put them in freezer drawers, they take up little space, and are always at hand at the right time.

Note

The result is concentrated bouillon cubes from natural chicken meat, flavored with natural spices.

One such cube is enough for 500-1000 ml. water. This means that from one such cube, you can cook a light chicken broth with noodles, eggs, etc. at any time.

Where else can you use bouillon cubes: - for making broths, soups, for making sauces where chicken broth is required, for making porridge, where water and a bouillon cube are added to the cereal, for aspic from chicken and fish.

Or you can put 1-2 cubes in a small jar with a lid, add boiled noodles, and / or potatoes, and / or boiled egg, a pinch of chopped greens (green onions), close tightly and take with you to work or on the road. Put the bread or white croutons in a bag separately. It remains only for lunch to pour boiling water over everything or heat it up in a microwave. And we will get Doshirak at home, but natural.

Beef broths can be prepared in the same way. You just need to choose for these purposes meat that gives a transparent fat, such as brisket.

And, of course, the broth can be prepared on purpose, and not as an addition to the soup, when it turns out to be fatty. When there is room in the freezer, I specially prepare broths, filter them, pour them into disposable plastic containers of 500 ml, and freeze them, store them in the freezer.

Firstly, you can quickly cook any soup, and secondly, you do not need to wash the bowls in which the broth was frozen.
