Cherry cupcake with poppy seeds

Ingredients

Dough:
flour 200 g
butter 200 g
sugar 100 g
eggs 3 pcs
baking powder 1 tsp
poppy 4-5 st. l.
vanilla sugar
cherries (I have frozen) 150 g

Cooking method

  • Grind butter with sugar, add eggs, vanilla sugar. Beat. Mix flour with baking powder, sift into an egg-butter mass, mix. Poppy (previously ground in a mill) add to 1/3 of the dough.
  • Put the light dough in a rectangular shape and make a depression in the middle, where to put the dough with poppy seeds. Flatten. Put the cherries on the dough and press lightly. Bake at 190 degrees for 30-40 minutes (check with a splinter). Cool the finished cake and sprinkle with icing sugar if desired. Bon Appetit.
