Although, I am sure the last statement will cause a lot of indignant responses from all over the world. Let's not argue, let every sandpiper ... and so on. The funny thing here is that the birthplace of Cajun cuisine - Louisiana - is indeed a huge swamp. And the local population is proud of this swamp no less than the Greeks of the Mediterranean Sea. It is curious that the word “cajun” is the French word “lez Acadien”, distorted in English, which in turn goes back to the name of the Greek region “Arcadia”, distorted in French, which in ancient times was unconditionally considered a country of paradise innocence, patriarchal simplicity of morals and peaceful happiness ... And, apparently, she was rich in skilled cooks.
  • So, let's plunge into the swamp of the Mississippi Delta and cook for a quick hand "Cajun Caviar" - "Cajun caviar." Why do they think that caviar should look like this, only their gods know, but the appetizer is really excellent. Including surprisingly corresponds to Russian drinking habits.

Then you need to chop the vegetables as small as possible and grind the cumin in a mortar. That's all we need

This is purely my opinion, which does not claim to be an absolute truth.
