the multicooker suits me perfectly, but the bowl is upsetting, I expected that at least a year will last, but here the scratches appeared already in the fall. I will buy a bowl for 37501, and an additional multicooker or pressure cooker, I still need a second multicooker, but with ceramics.

Better buy a pressure cooker, it is convenient to cook something quickly, make jellied meat, vegetables for salad, and the porridge in it is very tasty
I bought a pressure cooker and have no regrets. If I had to choose between a multicooker and a pressure cooker again, I would definitely choose a pressure cooker again.

Good day!
In August 2012, a Brand 37501 multicooker was purchased, less than a year has passed - the whole bowl is covered with cracks inside. I used a silicone spatula from the kit, did not scratch anything. How can this be and what to do now? The food began to burn, the multicooker is being removed from production, there are no spare bowls, and if there are, then God forbid, in the summer and this will be the last delivery, as I understand it. And is it worth buying an additional one if they scratch so quickly, besides, and you will not find these bowls on sale in the future? My mother also wanted to buy the same multicooker, and I also thought about buying a pressure cooker, but now I doubt something if the bowl is not enough for a year of use.
Does the 1 year warranty cover the bowl? If so, where and when can it be replaced?
Good day.
This is not a warranty case. These damages appeared during operation, therefore they are not a manufacturing defect. This bowl can be safely used further.
It will be possible to purchase an additional bowl for the 37501 multicooker this summer (I cannot say about the exact date of receipt of the goods yet). There will be enough additional bowls (and spare parts) for MB 37501 and SV 6050.

it's common knowledge! (about temperature changes! the same applies to any cookware with a non-stick coating, and not only!)
I have not cracks, but a lot of small scratches. and when, after the last preparation, I washed the bowl, at the bottom there was a tiny speck without coating! yes, and I can say on the bowl right after the start of use, a beige coating began to form to match the color of the bowl, and because of this, I thought for a long time that the markings on the bowl were erased !!! and only much later I realized that it was some kind of strange raid.
I just think I came across a defective bowl.
but I think that I will not throw it away, but I will still use it sometimes (steaming, yogurt ....), will be in the grip of a brand new saucepan!
I can assume that the plaque in the bowl was formed as a result of boiling water. I recommend that you wash the bowl thoroughly using a sponge with the hard side.
valushka-s
Elena Br , Thank you!
I recently started using a new bowl (I'm happy), and I cleaned the old one for a long time (and more than once), and it is still standing, will be in the wings ("steam", "yogurt" ...)
(I didn't boil the water in the old bowl, I think the plaque was due to buckwheat, maybe it stained, formed a plaque? or a plaque from steaming beets, however, I didn't cook it very often.)
Elena , tell me, if a tiny little bit has already appeared, you can no longer use the bowl? can you still cook in it?
Obviously, my old saucepan is not good for everything, but could cooking in such a bowl be harmful to health?
What kind of aluminum (?) is it made of? from cookable food? Or is it better not to contact the food with a chip?
thanks in advance, Elena!
Elena Br
I would not pay attention to small scratches, but I looked closely at chips and deep scratches and would have acquired an additional bowl.

Elena, I have already bought the cup, I wrote about it earlier yesterday, but as far as I understand, I will have to buy more.
I don’t even know what to call it, a small uncoated dot appeared after the last time I washed it. I didn’t drop it, I didn’t wash it (I don’t have it), but a defect formed.
So I understood you correctly that the bowl is made of aluminum that is not suitable for cooking ?! it's a pity!!!
"Bowl (pan) for multicooker series Brand 37500, 37502, 502"(from the video brand site) - it turns out that this bowl will be in demand for a long time, because it fits different cartoons, and the owners of 37501 have a chance to stay, ever without a bowl for their cartoon, because Brand has nowhere else such a bowl -a is not used!

girls, I wonder how long a cartoon can work? I need to decide before the summer how much extra. to buy bowls for your 37501, and prepare the money.

Luysia , so I think 2, maybe 3! the first served me a year with a ponytail, but I will still use it (steaming, maybe yogurt).
Well, I definitely need two, no less!

Yes, in 2-3 years, Brand will offer us such a super-slow cooker that we will throw out the old ones together and stand in line for a new product.
Gibus
And no one tried on the Phillips bowls 3037, 3077 to 37501? Surely they are from the same factory - they look very similar, and with the same coating. I don’t think the factory riveted any individual bowls for Brand.
If so, there is no problem at all with the bowls for the 37501.
The only question is the price that Phillips will break ...

If, for example, the coating peels off during operation, this is considered a manufacturing defect. This bowl is subject to warranty exchange.
In your sample, as far as I understand, small scratches have formed. They appeared as a result of mechanical action (bones, coarse salt, ..). Therefore, we cannot exchange the cup under warranty.

The thing is that in case of severe damage (deep scratch) during operation, non-stick properties are lost in the place of damage and later the coating may peel off.

P.S. Show the defect in the new bowl in the photo.

if on the trail. day - then an examination would be needed, which would establish - it is a marriage, or mechanical damage.
In general, bowls are consumables, just like batteries in cell phones (maybe not the best example, but still)

An interesting question. But I think now it is not entirely relevant, since native bowls are expected.

But if suddenly something, we will try on.
Narkom
but where did the topic about 6060 go ???

LanaS
good day.
I asked my question in another thread (the choice of multicooker), I hope you can duplicate the question, because here are still the Brand owners.

the 502 has a very interesting (at least according to the instructions) 5-step manual mode. if someone used it, share your impression of how it works.
Do I understand correctly that, for example. Stage 1, set temp 100 g and time 5 minutes,
Stage 2 70 degrees 1 hour. cartoon heats up to 100 grams and boils for 5 minutes, then it will slow down to 70 and work for an hour.
if this is the last stage, then what does the cartoon do next in standby mode (for example, did not have time to return home to finish cooking?

the second question, is the bowl from 37501 suitable for the 502 model? I really liked this yellow bowl, I want to immediately order another one.
Elena Bo
The bowls of the 37501 and 502 models are different. They are not replaceable.
LanaS
Now on the official site there are no separate bowls for 37501. Will the bowls go on sale? is it really that this model is being discontinued?
Elena Bo
37501 is discontinued. The bowls are promised in the summer.

Yes, unfortunately, it is discontinued, as well as the model 6050. The bowls are promised by the summer
LanaS
I saw on a parallel branch that it seems that the updated 501 with a 5-step programming mode will be released in the spring as a replacement for 37501, is that so?
* Tanya *
It’s just scary that if you don’t have time to buy a spare bowl, or even if you buy a spare one, and then it also fails, then everything, the pressure cooker can be thrown away? Not a single cup will fit to her then.

The release of the 501 model was planned, but due to the termination of cooperation with the manufacturer, the 37501 will no longer be produced. And also there will be no updated 501 model.
LanaS
to make yogurt in 37501 you need to buy containers - jars? what kind.
Tell me what else I need to buy so that I can make yogurt immediately after buying a multi? Well, I really want to try everything at once.
Manna
You don't have to buy anything if you have regular 0.5 liter cans. You can ferment yogurt in them by placing them on a napkin at the bottom of the bowl and filling the bowl with warm (up to 40 ° C) water up to the shoulders of the jars.
RepeShock
You can just do it in a saucepan.
LanaS
why water? it is necessary?
still a question, how to ferment yogurt?
I used to make kefir: I boiled milk, cooled it down, added a spoon or two of kefir (leftovers from the previous "batch"), mixed, covered the jar with gauze and waited until everything was cooked under normal (on the kitchen table) conditions.
Manna
Quote: LanaS

Water for better thermal conductivity.
It is better to ferment with dry ferments. Although, there are those who ferment on activity.
For kefir, a lower temperature is needed, at 40 ° C it will overheat.
LanaS
that is, pour warm milk, add the starter culture to the jars. pour water. turn on the yogurt mode. Right?

half-liter jars were not available. there are small ones from baby food, from olives (300ml), will they fit?
if the jars are of different sizes, yogurt will not work?
Manna
Yes, that's right. Banks can be of any size. The main thing is that the proportions of sourdough and milk are the same by volume. Only cans and everything that comes into contact with milk and sourdough must be sterilized.

Please write briefly step by step from the first step to the last how to make, what kind of starter to buy (a jar of yogurt or something in the pharmacy), to boil / not to boil milk.
I don't have the strength to read dozens of pages, my eyes are already hurting and more and more questions arise. I don't understand a lot, they even discuss, for example, how you can make yogurt on the simmering mode, but there is a different temperature.

Now it is important for me to understand how to make the simplest yogurt on the "yogurt" mode in the Brand37501 multitude, which, I hope, will come to me one of these days.

I make yogurt every 2-3 days. Recently my wife and I have gotten hooked on baked milk yogurt on actimeli. Tastes like condensed boiled milk. My wife and I did not really like it on dry starter cultures, we tried different ones, the consistency of the yoghurt turns out to be heterogeneous, some sort of graininess, I can’t describe it more precisely, but with actimel it is an excellent thick homogeneous yogurt. On the forum, I posted photos in the Brand 6050 topic and the recipe (I don't remember exactly page 54 or 55). in your slow cooker it is even easier to make a yogurt mode, or a temperature of 40 degrees.

I do it on dry starter cultures (for it will really be yogurt or another fermented milk product): lactin, good foods, genesis. Pour 1-2 liters of UHT milk into a clean bowl, add a bag of dry starter culture and set it for 6 hours. At the end of cooking, put it in the refrigerator. And everything always works out great.

Good day! If you ordered a multicooker by mail services in our Brand online store, then it is not necessary to unpack it by mail, because before shipment, the multicooker is checked by a warehouse employee for defects.

As a rule, these points are detailed in great detail. It also indicates what to do if a marriage is found. If there is no such information, contact the store by phone, they will definitely explain everything to you.
