Yulia, Thank you!
You too with a new frying pan
Scarecrow
Igor 245,

In the second photo, in my opinion, it's not just a cast iron, but a Swedish Skeppshult. Poorly visible, but usually it is they that cast the name of the company. If this is it - a gorgeous frying pan.

Elena Tim,

Staub she's going to shandrahnut ... I'll curse you! Love him and kiss him)).

Igor 245,

I have the same))). Only a series with a steel handle is why I use a hundred on a wood stove)).

grabbed wok Tefal, called Natura 26 cm
Wow. I thought they died out a long time ago. )) Congratulations, I have always liked Nature very much, about 4 years ago I grabbed 5 simple frying pans inexpensively, but such a wok did not wait for me.
But baking dishes under this name are complete shnyag.
Bijou
People, did anyone buy frying pans from Tescoma? Which are coated "like a stone"? Today I pulled for the company from the shop window, it is so cool, while new. Much thicker than the usual Tefal and the bottom for induction is made more competently. When I saw how much this frying pan costs on the Internet, there was a burning desire to run away and buy another one.

Maybe someone has already used and have an opinion about durability?

Yes, apparently in Eld-o one was lying around in a warehouse somewhere, I ordered it through the Internet, but they were not in the shop window (I go to Prince Plaza, usually to Tyoply Stan))

Hello everyone. I'm looking for a small frying pan for frying onions and carrots in soup, scrambled eggs for a couple of eggs and something else in a small amount. I look at the cast iron of Ukrainian production BRIZOLL. There are straight small (16, 18 cm), such as portioned. I have only a pancake one, siton. I don't want to use it - "pancake aura" so as not to spoil the prices for these pans are less than for biol and siton. Can someone say something about these pans? Or is it not worth considering cast iron for these purposes? From the pans I have only Kukmar's ones, I want to completely move away from them.

BRIZOLL
there is a small one with 2 ears-handles and with a wooden stand, I bought it because of the stand, but it turned out to be a very successful "skivirodochka", scrambled eggs, pancakes, sausage to fry only she, especially did not prepare it for use, everything is as in the instructions, in short I love her despite the fact that I have excellent and expensive pans, like a fool of a makhorka

Who uses such a frying pan?

just on a small egg (and serve on a stand), fry carrot-onions for soup, small pancakes - an excellent German frying pan with a diameter of 20 cm.There are more of the same configuration and design with a diameter of 25 cm, but they are too heavy. On the official website such

Verina Natalia, good, but not budget
Papaverinka
Verina Natalia, and what is she from? Probably coated with something. I want a cast iron because without any non-stick non-resistant coatings (I don't believe when someone says that his frying pan with any coating has been serving for ... years and like new), and it's not difficult for me to take care of the cast iron.
And I want without a handle, this brizoll, which I looked after, just with small handles-ears. Although I don't know if it will be convenient for frying and then sending it to the soup - it is heavy and holding it, I'm afraid it won't be handy over the pan with one hand.
selenа
Papaverinka, it is not heavy (at least 18cm), but you cannot hold it with one hand, it will be hot, it will hardly be convenient for frying.
Here on Ozone there is a 20 cm handle

Papaverinka
selenа, eh, and I already threw it into the basket)) Still, for such a purpose a pen is needed, yes. But the price is so pleasant for it that the mind becomes clouded and "I want" outweighs "and should I". 18cm weight 1kg! Normally, with one hand grab the small hot "ear" and with the other hand work with a spoon
selenа
Catherine, 778 g to be precise
Papaverinka
selenа, I have it in rubles, and 330r in total in the joint venture costs mine, I'll go dump

778 is a gram - a frying pan weighs
Papaverinka
selenа, and suddenly we do not make friends, and will lie. I do not like to litter the space with unnecessary things. Yes, and it is not permissible for me yet, the kitchen is too small

Not without the help of this forum, I filled it so much that the space becomes catastrophically small

I thought that the speech about hryvnia okay did not translate into rubles, I was stunned by the price, probably

Without any coatings. Cast iron from all sides. I bought even more for this one (but that one is heavier), and - I sent almost all my park of pans in the amount of 6 pieces to the good hands of friends, where they will be in business.

most likely it burns for those who have gas, it will not burn on the electric and induction

on the electric

If it is about small cast-iron pans, then the handle will not burn only if the diameter of the hob circle is equal to the diameter of the bottom of the pan. But if more, then the handle will be very hot.

Catherine, yesterday I fried pancakes in this frying pan that were completely unplanned, I just wanted to play with it, and this is what I came to, and you can do overcooking earlier, while the soup is being cooked, the frying pan cools down to an acceptable temperature, you can spoon overcooking even from a hot frying pan into soup, etc., etc. In short, there are many options

I do not really understand - you are afraid that the handle will burn - so take the one-piece cast one. All the same, take it through the grabber. For example option

yes, I wanted to take in the supermarket at a humane price, but there is only such
Verina Natalia
Here they are, my favorites in action this morning. The pancakes themselves do not claim to be ideal, just the implementation of kefir, so as not to disappear.
Who uses such a frying pan?
I do not regret that I bought it without waiting for humane prices. They turned out to be very handy. Potholders are needed, yes, if they stand on fire for a long time.

ah you, it’s probably good that I didn’t buy
Anchic
Catherine, in my understanding, without oil on cast iron, even with a "fur coat", even without it it will stick. Oil, at least a little, but necessary. Well, and warm it up to the point where water droplets grab into the balls.

Anh, so I understood that the patination was done ... Papaverinka, Catherine, be patient, let it fry a couple of times in oil, wash with a sponge WITHOUT detergent. The patina will build up and everything will be fine.
Anchic
Sveta, and it will be possible to fry without oil?
Svetlenki
Anchic, Anh, pancakes (pancakes) - yes, tasted in lodge pans. I have not tried yashnyu. I'm not happy without oil. Me and pancakes without butter are not good. And children are not happy. We miss that crispy, aromatic crust that butter provides. But this is until the next wash with detergent (after sautéing onions, for example, to get rid of the smell). My grandmother always smeared chugunins with a crust of bread and that's it. I didn't even wash it off with water.
Anchic
Sveta, clear. I'll know. I just don't recognize frying without oil either - the taste is not the same. So it didn't even occur to me to try.
Svetlenki
Quote: Anchic

Anh, oh well! I'd rather do it twice on steam or in the oven and fire it once. But I'll fire it right. I understand everything, but no one canceled the taste buds and the enjoyment of the dish
Papaverinka
Anna, Sveta, it was my mistake - to fry without oil at all. I just wash cast-iron pans with water, just a sponge, when they are still hot - straight from the stove. But now in the center, where the egg is stuck, the oily coating has not become so, as if the rough frying pan in that place had peeled off. To use further or repeat the whole procedure with the build-up of this oily coating? I tried to make pancakes on it, as I had it in addition to pancake biol. I smeared it with a little brush with oil, pancakes stuck a little (not all). And what is interesting - the pancakes on brizoll turned out better than on pancake biol. They came out more tenderly ... I don't know how to say.Maybe it's the thickness of the cast iron? Brizoll is clearly thicker (it is heavier than Biolovskaya, despite the fact that it has no handle and a smaller diameter) and its bottom side is not smooth, but with an embossed pattern. But she clearly lacks a pen. The lethal number was with a test distribution on her. Maybe what grab handles are there? (this is what I am returning to in our century) I remember my grandmother had the usual ugly pans and a universal grab handle for them.
But I also cannot admit that she is so pretty, tiddly, in comparison with the "penny" brothers. And yes, there is no way to compare with Teflon, even fried onions and carrots in a spoonful of butter for soup on it tastes better, IMHO.
Anchic
Catherine, I would clean off a little more then this "coating" of burnt oil and re-carry out this procedure.
And also, after washing, I usually dry the pan on the fire and grease it with oil - I pour it a little and rub it with a paper towel. And I still warm up to a haze.

Yep, similar

Is it straight with salt and blue smoke (although there probably won't be any smoke anymore), and then baking in the oven for 2-3 hours with oil upside down? Or just the oven step is enough?
Anchic
Catherine, well, you do not clean it off to zero. I think the oven is just enough.
Papaverinka
Anna, thanks for the advice) I revive her.

I would not bother, several times with a brush and everything will be okay.

I also lost the biol to the taste of food.
