so it is still found in stores.

Sens, so I'm inclined to the same. I just love everything new, not a conservative even once, so I was looking for a similar option, but so that the "bottle" was different

Mirandamost likely, yogurt in your Midea will not be able to cook - all modes are sharpened in it for temperatures greater than 38-42 degrees. However, you can check it yourself: pour water and turn on the tested mode, then measure the water temperature.

In my opinion, use the only cartoon for making yogurt is not very convenient: the process is quite long and all this time the only one the cartoon will be busy (unless put on at night).

For making yoghurt I like the version from Vitka - this is a slow cooker VITEK VT-4202: compact (1.6 l.), 6 automatic programs, including "Yogurt", nice and at a ridiculous price (from 791 rubles).
It is quite worthy to be second cartoons in the family.

About the first multi: even excluding barrel-forming models, there are about two dozen more or less suitable ones (all with the "Multipovar" mode). More interesting models are not interesting. I would say to myself: "They do not look for good from good" - from 3-liter Brand 701 I was impressed by the good price / functionality ratio.

However, here's an option for you: the filling is paler, but the bowl is thick-walled, guaranteed to be good and the price is a little less (from 2,565 rubles), and the brand itself is more impressive - Philips HD3134 / 00 (6 automatic programs, including "Yoghurt", multi-cook, heating pre-cut, built-in clock, removable inner lid, 3D heating).

Check out the piglet's face (VITEK VT-4202), and then filipka (Philips HD3134 / 00) -

So it is so, but the mode for cereals is glitchy And otherwise the multicooker is not bad

zogar, thanks for your reply.

But, after reading dozens of pages here, I came to the conclusion that you advise multicooker without owning a specific model, or at least not testing them in real life for a single day. I myself can read the technical characteristics and descriptions of manufacturers, having filtered the Yandex market by price and parameters.

I really came here for alive advice, not a retelling of. descriptions.

Thanks again for the trouble, but this is my estimated opinion.

Sure you may. Any cereals with complete evaporation of the liquid. But you can't cook soup in it anymore

Come on. I have a rice cooker (hellishly expensive, however, because it is induction) with modes for all rice (on brown rice, in addition to rice itself, I like to cook barley), with a mode of rice broth / soup (this is stewing, in fact, I stew everything on it), mode of rice casserole (evaporates water from the cereal, and then fry the crust below), accelerated cooking mode, with steam cooking and baking mode (bake). So in my rice cooker I have already stewed all kinds of meat, vegetables, stews, liver, lazy cabbage rolls, etc., baked and so on. Of course, a rice cooker is needed with more than one toggle switch on and off.
Sandy
Girls, remember the first rice cookers, here we have a Comfort FY-10 rice cooker with IRR, there is just a toggle switch for three modes (strong, medium and heating, that is, weak heating) so they did not cook Toko in it ... and baked. ..and....

Now in Metro the multicooker Polaris 0518AD - 1899 rubles. I bought it back in the spring. I'm happy. 14 programs, Multi Cook +, non-stick bowl with handles. Of the shortcomings I saw for myself - the corrugated bottom of the bowl and the half-blind display. But for that kind of money, you can not pay attention to it. Any milk porridge does not run away, the frying is average (although the temperature is adjustable), the pastries are excellent.
Ell
Girls, help me, please, choose a cartoon for mom. She has an anniversary - 60 years old, I want to give her a good assistant in the kitchen. I have the staff myself, I like it, but I'm afraid that such a volume will be too much for both of them. Basic requirements: ease of use, preparation of milk porridge, cereals, soups and stewing vegetables. I also think the volume is 3 or 4 liters better? Grandpa loves to eat with us.
Manna
Ell, you can look at the four-button Panasonic (by the button for the mode). How much easier to manage? But no display. 3 liters. True, there are no specials for cereals. regime. Or the 10th Panasonic. But it is 2.5 liters. You can also look at Polaris Floris. There, too, is simple - by a button on the mode. But it is 5 liters. There is also a 4-liter Stadler, but there is touch control - will mom master it? Am I thinking in that way?
vernisag
Panasonic 18 is better, it is quicker, and now it costs 2 thousand rubles.
Ell
Manna, yeah, vol. Panasik 4-button looked, embarrassed that now there are a lot of complaints that the products remain raw, there is not enough power. It's too small for 2.5 liters. I read Stadler more closely, looked briefly, it seemed that there were a lot of programs. But if the instructions are good, grandfather will help you figure it out. How is this cartoon in preparation? Doesn't smell like some Redmond? I've also looked at Brand 701. It seems that the model 6050 is praised by them, but there are still few reviews for 701. And the bowl there is ceramic, which is also not ice ...
Ell
And in Panasonic 18 what bowl? For some reason, this information is not available on ozone.
vernisag
Larissa, yes, little Panasonic cook for a very long time, because of the power. It seems to me that it will be difficult for her to deal with the stadler.
In Panasonic, good bowls, Teflon, with careful handling, last for a long time. Yes, and always on sale. Two liters of soup can be cooked in 4.5 multi, but you cannot cook 3 liters in a 3-liter one. I live with my daughters, I cook in 5 liter cartoons, okay. For me, a big minus of Panasonic, there is no frying program.
Ell
Oh, but how, then, to make frying for soup? Baking? On ozone now Panasonic SR-TMH18LTW costs only 1990 rubles, it is written like Thailand, not China. For the price in general, practically nothing. And his power is 670, he probably also cooks for a long time? How long does it take to cook soup on average?
vernisag
There on baking 110 °, it will be fried for a long time. Soup, depending on what kind, is stewed for 1.5-2 hours.
AlisaG
Girls, is there no boil-off sensor in Stadler? It's just that the girls above wrote to me that there is, and the consultant on the site just replied that no, it will be necessary to follow otherwise ...
zogar
Ell, if my mother had not previously dealt with multicooker, then she is used to monitoring the progress of cooking, and in cartoons with touch programs, the lid cannot be opened (the program gets confused). That is, the Stadlers and Panasy are in question.

Take a closer look at REDMOND RMC-M4515, it is simple - there are only 6 programs in it, including "Milk porridge", the buttons are visible and there is the possibility of manual adjustment of the cooking time, a Teflon bowl (4 liters) and a power of 700 watts.

Prices from 1810 rubles.

Soup 1.5 - 2 hours ..... I'm afraid my mother will cook on the stove, she will say faster. On the one hand, it turns out deliciously over low heat, like from a Russian oven, but on the other hand, in our high-speed age, time decides a lot. Here my mother and I will consult what is her priority. Irina, thanks for Panasik 18, wrote it down for herself. Are there reliable pressure cookers for 4 liters?
zogar, I don't know why, but I have a bias towards Redmond. Therefore, I do not even consider this line. Too much advertising and hype around him.

I prefer multicooker, I cook mainly in them. But many girls on the forum prefer pressure cookers. This is a matter of personal preference, exclusively.
In 701, in the mode for cereals purely with milk and even more so with foaming cereals (chaff, millet) they can run. Better to use "Manual" at 95 ° C. And, as I already wrote, it is better to immediately buy a second bowl with a non-stick coating (it is on sale at the Brand's website).

I also have a hostile attitude towards R, mainly, due to the inflated (well, advertising costs!) prices.

If the parents are elderly, then I agree that the multicooker will be more convenient - it looks more like an ordinary saucepan. But if my mother used to cook in pressure cookers before, then she will also be comfortable with the pressure cooker.

No. The cooking time for porridge in water and pilaf is fixed (40 and 50 minutes).

Manna, Stadler has several sensory (i.e.those where the cooking time is determined by the multicooker by the presence of liquid) modes - Rice, Milk porridge, Risotto, Express rice. Everyone works great. And in general, Stadler is a wonderful multicooker.
This is rice on the Risotto program

I gave my mother my electric pressure cooker, I don't even remember the company, I once bought it at the joint venture. Mom is over 70, she did a great job and sometimes enjoys cooking in her. Why sometimes? Gas is cheaper, and she has a gas stove. People of the old school are not used to paying for something that you can pay less for.
AlisaG
AnastasiaK, Thank you! Well, here's how to trust the consultants. For the sake of interest, I'll go to the same site again ... What will be answered is interesting already.
AnastasiaK
AlisaG, well, consultants sometimes say with confidence that they have never seen it. And there are also different opinions about what counts as sensory programs. Don't take it with a ceramic bowl! People often complain about her.
AlisaG
AnastasiaK, thank you very much! I asked a consultant, thought about it, until they answer
P.S. I received the answer "We have a user manual on our site, I follow it, there are no words about the boiling point of the liquid." Hee-hee, and for this they receive money from consultants? Girls, maybe it's time to get a job as remote workers, you know more!

Hello girls and boys! (otherwise they will again say that I offend girls)
So I became the owner of a multicooker. I don’t even know if it’s good or bad, but the toad crushed it and decided to buy something very cheap for testing, so that if something would gather dust in the country and it would not be a pity. Polaris 0518AD fell under this - quite by accident, I just saw Metro C&C while visiting a store. Today was a test of the pen. 1. Oatmeal - well, it seems to have been cooked, porridge like porridge is no worse and no better than usual, tomorrow I will try to cook it with milk, and not with chemicals called ultra-pasteurized milk. 2. Rice with chicken. This is a separate story. In general, as a beginner in multicooker, I boldly chose the frying mode, waited for heating and threw the onion into the saucepan (well, like fry it), after a few minutes I realized that something was wrong here, and looking at the display I saw a temperature of 100 degrees (well, who reads instructions before using the unit), turned off the unit, chose the multi-cook mode, set the temperature and time, and fried onions, carrots and meat. After that, on the program, pilaf threw rice into a saucepan, poured some water and went for a walk.
Upon arrival, I discovered that the apparatus had finished its work. Bottom line - it seems to be edible, but I definitely won't make pilaf in it.
What I didn’t like was the display (although it would do for that kind of money), the cooking time control scheme, the fact that in a multi-cooker you can set the temperature only up to 160 degrees, and so far everything seems to be.
What I liked - the multi-cook mode - the director himself, and the ability to set up to 9 consecutive cooking programs (the only question is why so many).
In general, a strange feeling from the purchase. We will try further

PS But to give up everything and leave - I will not try yet, I guess roughly that what happens will make me eat myself.
vernisag
nonamenm, you probably violated the rice-water proportions, in a multicooker it is not at all like on the stove. Less water is needed, depending on the type of rice. Pilaf turns out in multicooker very tasty. But I can't tell you the exact proportions either, since the rice is all different in quality, I cook only round (top grade) and in different multicooker it turns out differently (I also focus on the multicooker) And so on average 1: 1.5 - - 1: 1.3, I no longer like less liquid, but more porridge turns out.
nonamenm
vernisag!
I won't litter about proportions, but ... on a fire and on a stove, each rice requires its own amount of water.
And yet, pilaf requires a slightly higher temperature than 160 and 180 degrees, especially at the initial stage.
Therefore, cottonseed oil or fat tail fat is used (sunflower oil, as far as I remember, does not like temperatures above 180).
Well, that's nothing, it's just that this model has too little power for making real pilaf.
And I never cook pilaf with round rice.

PS The wife demands to write that she did not like cooking in a slow cooker yet
