Tochechka, Natasha, Marta is a wonderful cartoon and there is temperature adjustment (you can adjust the time and temperature right in the process of work), you can buy many additional programs and bowls. I can't say anything bad about the Redmonds, but I have a pressure cooker. All modes work correctly, and models for every taste and wallet, and you can always buy additional bowls. The forum has specialized topics, take a look. If you have specific questions, please ask.

Cirre, Galina, with the purchase of multi! Pretty!

Annutka, thank you, initially there was a prejudiced attitude towards Redmond due to his obtrusive advertising, but now I am looking closely, studying, and I have not once studied the profile topics according to Martha and Lummy, and although the impression is ambiguous, I am very inclined to take it, BUT! We do not have service and for some reason a guarantee of 6 months. Here I drove Ourson with a calm heart and checked him only at home (there was no time) a reliable pot
Annutka
Tochechka, Natasha, I have three Redmonds and I'm happy with everyone. Advertising yes, annoying, but multi is not bad.

Annutka,Cirre, I bought Redik on the 2nd - I will be happy to sit in Redik's branches

Povos. Brand models 37501 and 6050 were manufactured at the Povos factory. Now they make Philips.
And the Brand models 502, 701 and 6051 at the Supor plant. Redmond-01 too. The bowls are immediately visible.
Supor is apparently a large manufacturer in China, it has a lot of all sorts of intricate equipment (you can look at taobao), but these "ceramic with honeycomb" bowls did not impress ...

Steam did not pour out of all the cracks, no, but it was constantly sniffing through the valve. I didn't want to put up with this after the silent Brand.
Well, actually, I got lucky too. And with both the first and the second. And my mom was lucky. And to all my acquaintances whom I advised Shteb to buy. Indeed, it works quietly when the pressure picks up. I think that the percentage of good copies of shteba significantly exceeds the percentage of mowing ones. Well, what can you do, marriage occurs in any technique. So there are modern, quiet-working pressure cookers.

Indeed, she works quietly
For the first time after my old pressure cooker, I constantly ran up to Shteba in fright and raised my ear to it, because it seemed to me that it was not working. It was so quiet compared to the previous pressure cooker. Then I got used to it. And now I take it for granted.

The pressure cooker I ended up buying works silently, you can even bring a mirror to the valve - it doesn't fog up. And it keeps the temperature well, I'm happy.
Rick
I also wrote that modern MV-SV are different. And it is still incorrect to say so about all modern SVs.
Quote: Marpl

I completely agree with Shapoklyak that before the ground forces worked quietly and did not release steam. They could hiss a little while the pressure was set, but then there was complete silence and no steam. Therefore, I love my old SV-Lend Life and Vitesse with a smoking function (both 6 liters each). And modern MV-SV are more likely some kind of hybrids, they seem to be cooked under pressure, but they themselves poison steam according to programs. It turns out something in between MV and SV. You just need to take into account these features of modern MV-SV and not put them under the kitchen shelves during cooking (because of the steam). And so, it's very convenient that they relieve the pressure themselves, without me.
Marpl
I wrote not about all SVs, but about MV-SV. Specifically, Orson 5015 and Element, made in Korea. These are multicooker pressure cookers and their electronic valve works this way. And in Shteba, the valve that holds the pressure is the same as on the old SV, i.e. 2 positions - open and closed. And wait a long time for the pressure to be released, or forcibly bleed it, after putting a rag on the valve that absorbs steam. Each has its own merits and each chooses the right one specifically for him.

I am one of those who have 20 pieces, but it is difficult to advise anything, since everyone has different views and different needs. For example, my beloved Shteba did not go very well with me, for 4 years I cooked in it 10-15 times. And everything seems to be good in her, but the soul does not lie. Of the pressure cookers, my favorite was Moulinex with ears, kuk4mi, now I really, really like the element. Of the simple cartoons, the most beloved are Lummi 1447 and little radic 02 (I have 2 of them). And it seems to me that the more multicookers, the less versatility requirements for them, that is, you cook something in one, something in another, but if you need to have one or two, then it is more difficult to choose, because you need versatility ... Of course, you need a lot of space, but I can't resist seeing the discount

I have two Shteby, I adore them, but just like many, I read and think about the Element.
Tell me, what can the Element do that Shteba cannot?
About the Element ... I guess the hype started solely because of the sharp price drop
As a longtime user of the cuckoo (Cuckoo-1055), can I give you my opinion on this kind of device?
I will make a reservation right away, the element is simpler than a cuckoo, it has fewer modes, but the principle of operation is the same.

Strictly speaking, Korean multi with solenoid valve: Cuckoo, Bork, Element, are not pressure cookers. Manufacturers themselves in the operating instructions call them - "multicooker with pressure cooking function".
They are made on the basis of Korean induction rice cookers and the pressure there was originally used to steam rice, and not to speed up the cooking of soup. Therefore, the technology is different: they need to close the valve for a strictly defined time, process the rice with steam, and then quickly release this steam. For this, the solenoid valve is used - the cartoon controls it independently.
And then the Koreans began to add modes for cooking other dishes to the rice programs and adapt the existing design for them. But physics has not been canceled - the forced release of pressure causes a sharp boiling and splashing of liquid ... Therefore, only 95 * C is laid on the Soup, we actually languish it with a little excess pressure and do not gain anything much in time. And with milk porridge the same story.
By the way, if you go to the Cuckoo home site, you can see induction models similar to ours in the Rice Cooker and Multicooker sections, and next to it there will be a section called the Pressure Cooker, and there are pictures with typical pressure cookers for us with a mechanical valve of the Shteba type (only regular round shape). That is, they themselves divide these devices into different categories.
So it makes no sense to compare Shteba and Element, they are different devices.
Element and Kuku are cooked slowly but quickly fried and steamed.
Now, about the benefits:
- first of all, rice because this is their main purpose,
- meat of a slightly different taste,
- the ability to very quickly fry something (induction heats up in seconds) and for 10-15 minutes under high pressure. It's really fast, she will relieve pressure 3 minutes before the end.
- fry and steam under pressure at the same time, without adding a drop of water to the bowl.
In Shteba, this is impossible - the float simply will not rise until there is sufficiently strong steam generation, but here the magnet will forcibly close the valve immediately and the product will be fried and steamed with its own emitted steam, gradually gaining pressure, and then the sensor program will turn off, preventing burning. I do this in Cuckoo-1055 using Rice and Buckwheat programs. But, in Element, it seems, there are no boil-off programs - this is a minus. You will have to choose the time yourself.
- in the bowl with a pot, crumbly and all sorts of finely chopped dishes are better obtained, I do not poke around in the bowl with a silicone spatula when Frying, but simply take out the bowl by the handles and shake it with turning. It's more comfortable for me and the bowl is less scratched.Yes, and the chicken fits snugly in the pot. I cook it on Fry or Pastry, without pressure, it tastes better for me.
By the way, the induction bowl itself warms up more evenly - equally from the bottom to the very top, which is good for languishing different dishes or roasting meat in a large piece, and the pilaf is good.
For baking cakes, frying cutlets, yogurt in jars, the shape of the bowl is not very small - the bottom area is too small.

Well, individual taste preferences are different for people, I now can not stand the stewed aftertaste of potatoes and milk porridge cooked under high pressure. Therefore, I am not very upset that soups and liquid cereals in cakes are boiled at low temperatures.
But, at the same time, I will put beets or fish on steam to cook only in a mechanical pressure cooker, and until it unlocks, I will not open so that there is no smell around the house ..

At the moment, such a symbiosis of technology has developed in my kitchen - they constantly live on the work surface: an induction cuckoo (Cuckoo 1055) for daily daily cooking, a redmond-381 pressure cooker with a mechanical valve and manual temperature setting
Quote: Gibus
for certain operations: yogurt, steaming (because there is absolutely no steam and smell around the apartment), sous-vide, jellied meat, beans, vegetable preparations.
and 2 small ones (Redmond-01 and Philips 3060) for night cooking on the delay of 2 different cereals, and all sorts of small needs.
They also stand in plain sight: a bread maker, an espresso machine, a microwave combi, an air fryer and an old Brown food processor. Everything else is crammed into the closets.
Masha Ivanova
Gibus, thank you so much for such a complete answer! It seems that something is starting to clear up in my head.
I'll think a little and, with your permission, can I clarify something else?
Gibus
Masha Ivanova, of course . But the individual characteristics of the Element should be clarified with the users. I would have missed some features in it, for example, the ability to turn off the pressure on the Multipovar.
Masha Ivanova
Gibus, and so users just do not write anything sensible. Maybe just a little more time has passed, I'll wait a little more.
Elena Gar
Quote: Gibus
But, in Element, it seems, there are no boil-off programs - this is a minus.
I threw chickens into the Element yesterday. spare parts with cola and soy sauce, I usually do this in Lummik on the Express, and here he was busy making soup. I put the Element on the rump. So, at first the time decreased from 30 minutes, and then, when at 16 minutes the steam was released as usual, the time stopped and stood still for a while, and the steam was released and it turned out as if a sensory program for boiling off, I liked it.
Mirabel
Elena, Lena! and what is your Lummik?
Gibus
Elena Gar, but this is interesting, and how long did the program last? I'm wondering if she can adjust the time down if the liquid is low. The cuckoo corrects.
