Ingredients

150 g peeled rye flour
500 ml kefir
2 eggs
1 tbsp. l. Sahara
1 pinch of salt (I have 0.5 tsp)
1 tbsp. l. vegetable oil
1/2 tsp soda
1 tsp coriander seeds
1 tsp caraway seeds

Cooking method

  • Lightly roast the spices in a dry cast-iron pan. We grind them in a mortar, but not very finely.
  • We mix all the ingredients for the dough except soda in a blender. Let it stand for half an hour. If the dough thickens, add water. A few minutes before baking the pancakes, put the soda. We mix. We bake pancakes as usual.

But these pancakes, all three times baked on soda, no one even mentioned that the soda was somehow felt sideways. If you add baking powder, I advise you to take 1 tsp. and pre-mix it with flour.

I also kneaded the dough with a whisk :) and my kefir was fresh, not peroxidized. It seems to me that rye flour gives sourness, although I may be mistaken. The dough lasted not 30 minutes as Krosh pointed out, but more. I think that's the secret of the holes. 30 minimum dough should be suitable.

The pancakes turned out to be very tasty and fragrant, and the next day they became even better - somehow the accents of rye flour and spices came to light. They baked, however, rather hard, very tender, the first three came out lumpy, but then I nevertheless picked up the temperature and everything went well. Here is such a stack:
