Lenten pancakes

Ingredients

Dough:
200 g whole grain flour
3-4 tbsp plovers (grains with bran and embryos such as semolina)
300-500 ml of mineral water (depends on flour)
1 tsp vegetable oil

Cooking method

  • Soon post, maybe someone will come in handy. They are sooooo simple, absolutely lean and low in calories, and they also fully correspond to "separate meals."

  • Knead the batter and let stand for 20 minutes.

  • Bake in a Teflon pan without oil.

  • You can make a sweet dried fruit gravy with them. The idea was taken by me from a magazine, I don't remember from which

  • A handful of a mixture of raisins, prunes and dried apricots pour 1 tbsp of water with 1 tbsp of sugar or without, let stand for about 1 hour and heat over medium heat with a quiet boil. Grind with a blender in puree.

Lika, can you clarify about lean pancakes?

  • Mineral water - with gas?

  • No additives at all - no salt, no sweets, no baking powder?
Alexandra,
Yes, mineral water with gas. Natural mineral water, like Essentuki or Narzan.
There are no additives at all, the grits give a rather pleasant aftertaste, but you can do without it. Salt / sugar optional.

But I haven't done without baking powder yet. if I understood correctly, he is not there either.
That's right, no baking powder, flour and mineral water with gas, that's it. The dough is completely liquid, the pancakes are thin, you can wrap the filling. Very flexible.

Lika, something went wrong with the lean pancakes
For 200 g of flour (130 g in 1 glass, that is, one and a half glasses, but I weighed) only 300 ml of mineral water - I got a thick lump of dough
Topped up almost to 700 ml, only then it turned out something similar to pancake batter. The pancakes themselves swelled in a dry frying pan, like pitas and fried on the strongest gas for a very long time, almost without blushing. I had to bring them to a state of almost solid, otherwise raw pieces would come across. True, the taste of the resulting "lavache-pito-chapatis" was really liked by the homemade

Alexandra, the main thing is that the family liked it.
Perhaps we have different flours from here and different thicknesses of the dough. Feel free to add water to the desired consistency, these are pancakes, you can freeze with them
The dough should be very, very liquid.
I made a note in the recipe

LIKA, I am very grateful for the recipe !!!!!. Very good. I tried it in different ways: sweet, savory, with additives ... Everything is very tasty.
Here is my composition, I liked it: Whole grain flour (5 tablespoons with a large slide) + a pinch of sea salt + a pinch of sugar + a teaspoon of mustard with grains + finely chopped greens (dill, parsley) + 1 tbsp. the spoon grows. oils + carbonated water (0.5 liters). Make batter. TRY ....
Thanks Lika .. The recipe stuck !!!
