Plum compote jam in the oven

Ingredients

Plum halves, pitted
Sugar, half the weight of the plum
alcohol (wine, cognac, or something else that is not a pity) a quarter of the weight of plums (less)
ground cinnamon (I put 1 teaspoon per kg of plums)
cloves (5 pieces)

Cooking method

  • Anyone else, but my jam-making season is not over yet.
  • "Compote" (jam) from plums in the oven
  • (In an old cookery book, compote is what is covered with sugar and put into the oven, for example, baked apples.)
  • Mix everything in a baking dish, leave for 1 hour, so that the juice stands out. (The juice does not stand out)
  • Put in the oven for 1.5 hours at 180 degrees.
  • Arrange hot in jars.
