According to the instructions, you need to blanch, but I just grated it raw for Korean carrots, but not along, but across, so that the pieces were short. I also laid it out quite tightly on pallets, overnight on the medium it was completely dry.
I put it in soup / borscht when I am carcassing something. It is very convenient - everything has already been cleaned and cut in advance, there is no need to waste time on it. With a slow cooker, it's generally great! In the evening I came home, took a piece of chicken out of the freezer, sprinkled a handful of dried onions and carrots, a little cereal, plus peeled and cut potatoes, plus salt and spices. I filled it with hot water, pressed the button. Everything took five minutes, then you go about your business, and in 40-60 minutes the soup is ready! Sit down to eat eat please!
I don't pre-fry, and everything turns out so delicious! And more useful, without frying and without oil.
