Chicken dumplings

Category: Meat dishes

Ingredients

chicken thigh 2 pcs.
wheat bread 2 pieces
onion 1 PC.
salt taste
a mixture of peppers (black and allspice ground) taste

Cooking method

  • 1. Put to boil 2-3 liters of water in a saucepan, salt the water.
  • 2. Soak two slices of wheat bread in cold water (naturally, our homemade bread).
  • 3. While the bread is soaking, remove the skins from the thighs, cut out the bone. Cut the meat into several large pieces, put in the blender of the food processor (bowl with knives).
  • 4. At the same time, peel a small onion, chop it finely, sauté until transparent or lightest golden in a frying pan with a small amount of vegetable oil. Basically, you can do without a bow at all.
  • 5. Grind the meat in a blender, add the soaked bread (without squeezing! How much water there is in the bread, as much will be needed), salt, pepper, onion, beat well again. The mass should turn out like thick sour cream.
  • 6. During this time, the water in the pan has already boiled. We arm ourselves with two tablespoons. We collect about half a tablespoon of minced chicken, pour it into boiling water with the second spoon. Cook for 10-15 minutes. Remove with a slotted spoon.

Time for preparing:

15-20 minutes

Note

The dish is very dietary, quite suitable for baby food. It can be called "dumplings", "dumplings", "kneli".
Using teaspoons, you can make small dumplings for the soup.

At first, I cooked these dumplings in a Panasonic MV steamer, but still I had to boil them in boiling water for literally 10 seconds for the top layer to "grab", otherwise the dumplings would creep and stick to the bottom of the basket.
