Cooking method

  • Knead the dough from flour, eggs, butter, water, salt. The dough has the consistency of thick pancakes, so that it slowly crawls off the spoon and passes well through the holes of the mold.
  • Cover the pan with a dumpling mold, lay out the dough, and with a scraper push the dough into boiling water. We do it quickly.
  • Garnish - "Dumplings with onions"
  • When all the dough is in boiling water, remove the mold, mix the dumplings in water, cook for 1-2 minutes.

  • While the dumplings are boiling, heat oil (vegetable and butter) in a pan, put finely chopped onion, fry it.
  • Remove the finished dumplings with a slotted spoon from the water (shake off the excess water), put them in a pan with onions, and fry with onions until the liquid evaporates.
