Angela, and what can you think of if there is no baking powder?
Add soda. You don't have to extinguish. It will be extinguished with honey. Not about a full teaspoon.

So, sir, I baked the cake, it turned out a little concave top. And what proportions of sour cream and sugar should be taken for sour cream? Does the cake need to be cooled to apply the cream?
Gertrude
Thanks for the recipe from me too. Baked in the LandLife multicooker-pressure cooker. The bottom turned out to be overdried, and the top was concave - but about the top, I think I opened the pan too quickly, I had to wait for it to cool a little .. From this amount of products, 4 full cakes are obtained. The taste is simply wonderful. Our mother often baked honey cake as a child, so the taste of childhood. I will still bake

ang-kay, thank you very much for the really easy honey cake. Very tasty ... Made with sour cream. Dark blotches - when assembling, I poured walnuts on the cream.
Tell me, what kind of cream do you have? usually you just can't cover it nicely with sour cream ...

And thank you for the report. I have a cream of whipped butter with boiled condensed milk. About 200 grams of butter and 300 grams of condensed milk. But with this cream, you need to hold it longer for impregnation. But the taste is worth it.
I don’t know what happened to your leaders. Maybe not enough flour?

The cake must be cooled necessarily. Sour cream 500-600 grams. Sugar is about a glass. And there, see how you love more. Can be made sweeter or sour. Adjust the taste yourself.

My bottom was too dry, maybe I need to reduce the baking time a little? And as for flour, I think no more is needed, because the dough was pretty thick, usually my dough is thinner for liquid cakes. In short, you need to experiment, because I liked the cake very much, it is easy, not confusing, and very tasty. Thank you,Angela, I flooded the plus sign.

baked again yesterday. in general, I climbed very high, I did not even expect. it turned out FIVE parts.

450g sour cream 20%, powdered sugar (ground sugar in a coffee grinder) - to taste and 1 tbsp. l. corn starch.

Girls, thank you all for the great reviews. Very nice. Eat to your health!
If the bottom is dry, then bake a little less time.

just about, I just thought it was some kind of thickener. Tomorrow I'll bake again and do it with your cream

Baked a simple one today.
It was urgent to find a use for the remains of sour cream and cream.
And this Medovik has been in the bookmarks for a long time.
Baked in a Panasonic cartoon, 65 + 20 min.
He got up well, but the donkey ... by as much as 3 cm, it was evident from the marks on the sides of the saucepan.
It turned out 2 cakes.
But there is a lot of cream! I also added the remains of boiled condensed milk to it.
It tastes like honey gingerbread with caramel cream.
Thank you!

Today I made a half-and-a-half portion of Polinka, but in Perfezza, the result is amazing, it went up to the number 8, baked for 45 minutes, everything was baked amazingly, cut it into 4 cakes, it could have been 5, but I didn't allow a dull knife, I need to acquire a string ... I'm very happy, thank you, again, Angela, dear

just baked. Until I took it out of the multi, let it stand a little. I read the whole topic and realized that the baking time should not be set according to the recipe, someone generally baked 45 minutes ... I put it for an hour and thirty minutes, but after an hour I looked and when there were 20 minutes left until the end of the program, I turned it off, obviously baked with a toothpick checked. I have a multicooker Supra 4501.
I'll make the cream from sugar. powder and baby curd from our dairy (the taste and consistency is absolutely like thick sour cream, and the fat content is only 8%).
Then I'll take a picture and try to post a photo (I tried somehow, but it didn't work)

Of course, for each multi, the time must be chosen. There will be an experience in Supra.

An interesting solution. I'm waiting for your feedback and photos. And photos can be uploaded to the radical photo, and then copy the link here. Take a look in the technical department. Everything is described there in great detail.

with a sad review ... In my Supra it was necessary to bake, probably, a maximum of 40-45 minutes. Because the bottom has turned into a concrete crust and, in general, the biscuit is rather dry.

And how does everyone get such a tall cake ??? my dough was barely enough to cover the bottom and, accordingly, although it clearly rose well, but not higher than 4 cm. I cut it into three cakes. The bottom (in general, just a crust :-)) had to be given to the birds, I missed the rest, but the biscuit was directly dry, not very saturated, it turned out dry :-(

One and a half portion, it turns out a tall cake, up to 8, I baked for 45 minutes in my Prefezza without baking, it could have been half an hour, the dried bottom would not be that!
danuca
half an hour? and then for an hour and 10 minutes, a dry brick came out ... Well, there is still nothing above, but below ...
A-ah, one and a half servings, of course, that's another matter, thanks for the tip!

In different cartoons, baking is different, someone bakes for an hour and a half, someone for half an hour, you need to adapt to your slow cooker.
On the first page of this Temka, Angela, in my opinion, has a single portion of such a pie and also not a small one, like a biscuit ...

exactly. I bake for 100 minutes, and this is what we get ... 1 hour 40 minutes. and there was never a dry bottom.

aha! For the first time I did Angilka's calculations - everything went up and there was such a good cake, just 5 sweet tooth turned out to be not enough, so I increased it. Angela has a 5-liter bowl.

danuca, the cake is really simple and tasty, it's not even clear what the problem is with you.
ang-kay
Girls, thanks for the answers. You write everything correctly. With my current internet it is sometimes difficult for me to go in and respond in time. I did not bake one and a half portion, but a single one. It turned out high and normal. I also cannot imagine what your problem is. Probably still something with the cartoon.Such thick meadows are very tricky when baking. The crust turns brown quickly and the middle can be soggy. : girl_cray: When I baked this recipe in the oven before, there were punctures. True, then I had a gas oven from Sovdepovka not very good quality. And in "Aurora" the result amazed me. Maybe I over time and reinsured. And there are no punctures. Maybe you are missing something in the cooking technology?Danuca, you will definitely succeed.

I used your recipe for my multi (I have panasik), niche, may I, girls?
It turned out to be a very tasty cake. My peasants were delighted - they are terrible sweets. And the cake is just that - all of itself super-sweet, because I had toffee cream + butter
Fota no, because baked on a visit
I'll bake some more, then I'll take a photo

I am very glad that everything worked out and I liked it. We are waiting for pictures.

Tell me: what does it mean to beat eggs, as for a biscuit?
oriana
This means that you beat the eggs and baking powder into the beating bowl and start beating at low speed at first, and as you gradually increase the speed, add sugar in a thin stream and finish beating at high speed.
The eggs will turn white, double in volume and become somewhat thick, after which you stir in flour and honey with a spoon, gently, from bottom to top, just stir and bake. Well, I did that, it's just that everyone has different cooking technologies, everything turned out great for me!
I wish you good luck too!
Jaroslava 333
orianaThank you so much for your quick reply! Today I plan to make this cake in a Panasonic cartoon ... Hope for luck!

I added a little starch to the sour cream for the top cake ...
One jamb has not become obsolete: as it did not soak, the cake that was at the bottom during baking is still hard, although the taste is excellent

Oh! Super class!!!! Handsome ... today I will also bake, tomorrow guests from Germany will come, I will feed them with natural, not synthetic products!
matroskin_kot
I have already put an oven in Panasika. Bye for 60 minutes ...
ang-kay
Girls, how interesting you are!
Marinochka,
Good luck to all!
Gertrude... try a thickening cream or sour cream cream. Or do not beat at all, but stir sour cream and powdered sugar and that's it.
matroskin_kot
So, baked, got up, but the donkey ... Anointed with custard and laid the cherries on the bottom, so that they wouldn't be very sweet .. Sour cream was eaten, therefore, on custard ..

I wonder what is wrong with Panas? Or the flour is bad, but 50 minutes is not enough.
matroskin_kot
No, I baked for 60 and 20 minutes, it rises to the top, and then the donkey ... But it turned out three cakes, rather tall, but I hoped that it would be higher. Flour is an extra variety, I used to bake a honey cake, only I divided the dough into three cakes, and, it seems, there were more eggs. Baked in the oven - a long time ago ... It seems to be all the same features of Panas ...
ang-kay
Well, you, Ira, and a joker. I thought that the pancake turned out in general! And what glass did you measure the flour with?
matroskin_kot
The glass is standard, for 250 grams, but I also weighed the flour - 320 grams ...
The dough is like sour cream, everything is great, but I wanted it not to settle ...
SupercoW
As I understand it, in a glass of 250 ml you should get 150 grams of flour.
I first measured out 200 ml with a glass, and it turned out 120 g of flour.

if you count in a single dosage, then the flour should be from 240 to 300 gr.
personally, I have never dropped this honey cake. always creeps up to 8 or 9, and remains so. but I am preparing 1.5 dosages.
Tigra_zp
Thanks for the recipe. Baked. Wait cools down. Baked in the ORION multicooker for 50 minutes, baked great. Looks great and the smell ...
It remains to cut and soak with cream.
