Here is my cake
Chocolate cake on boiling water

I tried it both in the cartoon and in the microwave, and the middle is unbaked ...

I bake it (now my favorite biscuit) in SV, when I baked it for the first time, it was not baked either. And now I set extra time, and then (for some reason I have already become a habit) I forget about it for 15 minutes and it stays on heating and EVERYTHING is OK !!!

Yesterday I baked this cake in Liberton - height 10 cm !!! I have not seen this before. Baked twice for 50 minutes. I went to visit, and took this cake there. cut into 4 parts, smeared sour cream with sugar. powder. They praised them so much, they praised them so much! Question - do you have it crumble when cutting into layers?
kirch
Yesterday I also baked the second time in Panas. Sour cream. Delicious and fast. Cut into four cakes. It crumbles a little when cut. Very gentle. Cut cakes must be handled very carefully.

Hello, I recently registered here. I read and read everything. the forum is very good. about the cake - baked it once ... a lot! didn't work. and time changed, and in different multicooker, in a pressure cooker, in the oven - rubber, low and heavy. but the love of chocolate conquered everything !!! and as a result - I bake in MICROWAVE. It always works. I divide the resulting dough by 4 times. I pour it into a steaming dish from a multicooker (I first put the baking paper on the bottom of the mold so that the dough does not pour out through the holes) - the size of the mold suits me))) and cook at 70% power microwave 1000 W) until the top stops sticking - 6-7 minutes. play, of course, for a long time, but it turns out 8 cakes from a standard set of products. (I cut 4 more cakes in half with a knife) and these are 2 large cakes !!!! from the filling most of all I like sour cream shop package + sugar 3 tbsp. l. mix with a slide and soak in the refrigerator overnight or whipped cream with sugar + gelatin and in its icing - cake in the sense - there is never too much chocolate !!!
lesyara
Finally, it baked, but in the middle of the stirring, I was distracted by seeing off the household - and managed not to add boiling water, so I have "chocolate without boiling water" ... In addition, at the end of baking, my sister from Moscow called, and instead of adding baking, +20 min. he left for heating for 12 minutes, then I added 20 minutes to him. baking and finally - 20 min. heating. After such mockery of the recipe, the cake still turned out, but the middle failed - it was not baked (the top of the middle). And it was VERY tasty, just with boiled condensed milk - though very quickly it was gone. Maybe without boiling water, but only bake correctly for 60 minutes. + 20 min.
Sandy
Today I decided to make it in my "Comfort" rice cooker .... some kind of kapets ... first turned it on on a cookie, after 10 minutes it switched to warm and didn't want to switch to another mode, I took it and forced it back on cookie ...after 10 minutes it started to smell burnt, I removed the retainer and baked on warm for another 15 minutes, after that she allowed me to switch it to porridge, here it has been baking on this program for 40 minutes ... I opened it and looked, it went up well but the top still absolutely liquid ... the epic continues ...
So I sit and think, what for I wanted to bake it in a rice cooker, if it turned out well in my oven, in general, how it will be baked ... if it is baked, then I will unsubscribe
Sandy
Well, it happened, the donkey was strong (it was not necessary to open the lid every five minutes), and burned (it was not necessary to force the rice cooker with the modes) the height is 5.5 cm, or it could be more, the donkey is at least 2 cm.
But in general, so nothing for the first time now I know how to bake and next time it will be good ... I hope.
I really don't know yet what's in the middle

I could not stand it and cut off the burnt, it turned out that it was a thin crust, but inside it was porous
Girls, can this biscuit be frozen?

Sandy, but please tell me at what T bake in the oven and how long? And then from the fourth time I just got this cake in the microwave and then 1/2 serving. But I still defeated him. : yahoo: And, most importantly, it is eaten faster than purchased ones.

At 180 degrees for about 40 minutes, I probably look when ready (so that the top is elastic, well, pierce with a stick). More precisely I will not say ... next time I will write it down exactly, and unsubscribe

Kroshik! And I'm back to you. This time I decided to walk through the classics.
I was looking for the most chocolate taste for cake pops, advised ShnK
He baked it in the proportions of the video with minor changes:
Granulated sugar 424 g (2 cups)
Wheat flour 230 g (1-3 / 4 cups)
Cocoa powder 57 g (3/4 cup)
Baking powder 10 g (1 sachet)
Baking soda 15 g (1-1 / 2 tsp.)
Salt 10 g (1 tsp)
Eggs 46 + 49 g (2 pcs)
Milk 3.5% 257 g (1 cup)
Sunflower oil 112 g (1/2 cup)
Vanilla sugar 8 g (1 sachet)
Boiling water 227g (1 cup)
Chocolate cake on boiling water
Quote: Krosh

The first time I baked "ShnK" was in the oven, so he filled my whole form and climbed far beyond its limits, also the middle rose with a dome, in general, it turned out to be a kind of tower-tower, it went up hoo ...
So, at 10 minutes of baking (I baked at 180 ° C in a 21x28.5 cm mold on the second row from the bottom, I have four of them in total) it has already risen to the very edge of the mold .... It became scary. But by the 45th minute, the middle first cracked and then fell. By one o'clock, the middle had leveled off a bit, but the skewer came out wet. Added another 20 minutes, covering the edges with foil. Apparently, it was nevertheless necessary to divide it into several parts ... well, at least two. And maybe still more flour….
Weighed out 1251 g
It stood for a day, mixed with cream "Tafita" and it turned out delicious Cake pops new year

I read this tasty temka ...and went to bake, very much! baked only on baking powder, pulled out a biscuit to cool - high enough. I went to make a cream, tomorrow we will try. If the children bring a camera down, I'll take a picture. Crochet thanks for the recipe

and we are baking yummy, though for the first time, before that the recipe was found, but still our hands did not reach, and this was tried by our kuma (by chance she also had a cartoon), she gave us the recipe, compared - one to one with the same , in short, everything was kneaded, only she said beat the eggs with 1 st. sugar, which we did, now we are waiting for the result, the little guy really likes this cake, before that we made Napoleons with custard and biscuits with butter-thickened creams, I like this chocolate one more so far =)

Girls, help me figure it out, I took everything as in the recipe, except for one nuance, instead of soda, I added a double portion of baking powder and the cake did not rise .. and I looked at everyone in the pictures, he was a gorgeous handsome man, but I got a pathetic one .... they ate three thin I cut the biscuits ... I wonder if the absence of soda could give such a bad result? Baking in a slow cooker

Oksana, I had a similar situation. The cake baked in the evening did not rise at all, I sin on weak tension. Since I baked the cake again in the morning, everything worked out. I think that baking powder has nothing to do with it.
Elena Bo
I always add baking powder instead of baking soda. The result is excellent. Maybe a bad baking powder, here the girls wrote. that it seems that the problem is in him. Although, the mixing technology may be violated.
How long did you knead the dough after adding baking powder? Maybe the baking powder didn't work from the long kneading?

to be honest, I'm a novice cook, and baking is not mine at all .. rarely does it work .. I read somewhere that you need to lay down the baking powder at the very end, I did so. the baking powder was Italian for cupcakes (at least they were drawn) ... in general, today I will bake it again (again, in this topic, one young lady only baked with soda, I will try it too ... I really want it to work)

Thank you all for the advice ... I tried to bake it again today, I took into account all the nuances with soda and my cake went up .... It remains only to cut and grease the cakes. Thanks to all!
Giraffe
Baked today for tomorrow's daughter's day, special. ordered from her. So I look and think ... it won't fit in my mouth even now, and even cream, glaze ...

Girls, tell me, if I want to make a half portion of the cake in the CB, then how much baking time should I set 1.2 or 1 hour is enough? I don't want such a big one, I want a small one, otherwise the family is stuck, they want Tyrolean pie or chocolate delight, but I dream about chocolate on boiling water.
Sweetsnau
Today decided to please her husband and herself. But with a little experiment. Partly in the cartoon, and the other half in the oven, I sit and sniff what comes out
fronya40
And How?
Giraffe
Made for my daughter's birthday. Everyone liked it, and especially on the second day. As my husband put it, "just yesterday we were already full."Friends told with such enthusiasm at school that their daughter invited them to tea again. Besides this cake, there was also the Waffle Oscar and the Crocodile pie, so the delight of the children is understandable.

No one answered me, and as a result, 1.2 hours for a half portion in the SV is a lot - it overdried. An hour would be enough for the eyes. Sour cream saved the day, but I know how airy it should be ... Although it's still a very tasty cake.
Giraffe
Firstly. everyone adapts to their device. I have two identical slow cookers and bake differently. Accordingly, the time will be different. And secondly, I would not say that this cake is airy, rather it is heavy and moist, not requiring soaking.
Galina AS
Airy in terms of porosity and for me it is not heavy.
There is experience and repeated, I just would like to hear the advice of those who did in the SV. And so I had my own experience. Conclusion - you need to do as in the full recipe and everything will work out.

And How?
Perfectly!!!!!!! Only my mother made biscuits with such high cakes. And here it is tasty and simple and cheap and simple))))))))
Sweetsnau
And my husband did not believe that she herself baked, he says, such beautiful and even bulbs are made only in the store !!!!
Sweetsnau
I forgot about the main thing. In the cartoon, I have yammy, the cake is more airy and moist. But in the oven a little dry, but very cool !!!!!
Giraffe
Here's my cake. Made for my daughter's birthday. To say that the invited children were delighted is to say nothing. At school they discussed so heatedly. that the daughter invited them to drink tea again. Fortunately, the cake is large and nourishing, they didn't eat much, and even the "Waffle Oscar" was. At the thrombot, after my birthday I look, my husband and daughter are drinking tea with him, they said that "today is much tastier, probably we were too full yesterday"

Girls, please help urgently.
We need a recipe for a cream for this cake, based on the available 2 packs of cottage cheese 200 grams, sour cream 200 grams. There is available butter and boiled condensed milk of our own preparation.
My thoughts: cottage cheese + sour cream + egg + sugar to taste. What to add to thicken? I am afraid that all this mass will remain a mash without a thickener.
For the remaining 2 cakes, I will try to beat the butter with condensed milk. Even unbeaten, I hope it will be edible.
Correct me if I am wrong somewhere.
I thought about making sour cream, but it turned out that the sour cream "disappeared", there is only 200 gr in the dry residue.
The cream will be needed by 21 o'clock, I will not bake before, otherwise he will not be allowed to soak. And the cake is needed in the morning for tomorrow.
Vitalinka
Lyimaybe it will do
1. Rub the curd. Beat 100 grams of butter, add cottage cheese, sugar. powder to taste and vanillin.
2. Beat sour cream + condensed milk. If sour cream is liquid, add a thickener.
3. Butter 300 gr + 1 can of condensed milk.
Olex
Girls, I want to ask myself I bake a cake and smear it with sour cream, and on top too. Can you make it with wet meringues on top? That is to say, a more festive option? Or sour cream and MK bite?
Vitalinka
Olex , on top of sour cream you do not need to smear, immediately wet meringue. Otherwise, it may float away.

did it somehow according to this recipe: 🔗
fast and tasty! only I added a small piece of butter and some liquid condensed milk (I cooked a slightly thick cream, so I had to make it thinner)
my very cake-pie liked it!

Perhaps, the option I like. The 1st is unambiguous. Thank you, Vitalinka.
2nd. Sour cream + condensed milk will probably be a liquid cream. How to thicken? Starch? Mine do not like custard due to the fact that there is flour thickening there. Or maybe (most likely) I don't know how to cook it. He has never turned out for me the way we love.
3rd, too, I'm afraid that it will be watery, as homemade condensed milk. The same question, how can you thicken it?
Powdered milk is available. Will it not work? If you add it directly in powder? Or starch, also in powder? Throw in more options.
