1. It seemed to me that the cream was slightly lacking, because the cakes were not firmly connected, that is, I would add another 1/2 can of condensed milk and half a pack of butter.
2. I made the glaze according to the recipe: 7 tbsp. l sugar + 3-4 tablespoons of sour cream + 100 gr. butter + 4 tablespoons of cocoa + vanilla - mix everything and bring to a boil over low heat.
3. It is a pity that I was limited by the diameter of the waffle cakes, because of this, the cake turned out to be very high, and it was not very convenient to cut it, it seems to me that the ideal diameter for such an amount is 24-26 cm.
4. When I beat the whites, my sugar didn't want to dissolve into any, I decided that the proteins were small and added one more, but in the end the sugar did not dissolve completely, but this did not affect the quality of the meringue.
5. Be sure to apply the meringue to the waffle cake, stepping back from the edge, because it will increase during baking and may slide off the cake.
6. I baked meringue for more than the specified time.

In real life, it turned out to be simply gorgeous, awesomely tasty, interesting in appearance and in the combination of cakes-waffles-nuts-meringues-cream-chocolate ... (namely butter and with boiled condensed milk). And yet - it turned out that it is simple in execution.

I put it together a little differently. The chocolate cake was baked with a slide - it went with the bottom cake, filled the groove of the dish. There were 4 wafer cakes in the package, and there was a lot of protein mass. Therefore, there are 4 such layers.

The cream was enough for me. I deliberately did not smear it with a thick layer, so as not to oversweeten and "overexert" the pleasure. After laying it on the cream, the waffle cake was pressed on top of the bottom of a detachable form, so that the meringue (I dried it enough) broke, where there is a lot of it and adhered to the cream throughout the entire area.

The cake, of course, is tall. But the composition of the cake allows you to safely store it in the refrigerator for 4 days, or even more, probably. Interestingly, the waffles remain crispy.

Thank you very much for such a wonderful recipe! I will do it more than once.
