salt och quickly ended, but they say it needs to be filled up once every 3 months, and after a month my indicator came on

And how much salt was put up? My salt costs 3, my friend's - 2. My salt is filled up once a month somewhere, my friend's - I don't know. He filled up one pack, the sensor still did not light up.
Berry
I also run out of salt quickly. The salt is at 5. I have changed the color of 4 squares on the indicator strip. A glutton has eaten 2 packs in a month. But the rinse aid costs 2. I poured it a little bit and does not ask for a second month.
Hairpin
Hm ... I have changed two squares on the indicator strip. Bosch is on a three, and Veko is on a two.
Scarecrow
Girls, how often do you descale it? I bought a special product for Millet (in principle, they are all based on citric acid, as far as I understand, there are only some additives for rubber seals, or it's just marketing bullshit). I don't understand when this should be done and I do a rinse with a descaler every few months just in case. The heaters are all hidden, nifiga it is not clear when the deposits formed ...
And the washing machine once fell asleep with a lemon on the hottest water.
Hairpin
And I understand that for the dishwasher, cleaners need more from fat than from scale. Well, since I am a lover of short programs (I think that here I am far ahead of everyone, because I always use my 30-minute program), then I plan a remedy for fat and scale every two months.

But what about the lemon is interesting. What does Jeffrey say about cleaning the washing machine and dishwasher with citric acid?
Jefry
It is my very deep conviction - with proper operation of the PMM, there is no need to rinse or clean anything at all. "Correct use" means the use of proven detergents in the correct amount and regular cleaning of the filter. Contamination in hard-to-reach places of the machine occurs only from "thrifty" owners, if there is little or no powder at all or the powder is fake. I also recommend carefully removing the filter for cleaning. And then carefully insert it back. It is enough to turn on the machine with a skewed mesh (or without it at all) once to get a headache for a long time - in the form of clogged nozzles, etc. But even in this case, citric acid will not help. Calgonite is much more aggressive ...
Washing is a separate topic, but even there who knows for sure - the manufacturers of calgone convince us of the urgent need for its use. And the servicemen suspect the same kalgon of corroding the rubber seals of the machine, just those that the "master" shows in the advertisement ...
Scarecrow
That's about the washing machine, the master in the service and said - clean with a lemon.

About dishwashers - let me disagree. I have had dishwashers for a relatively long time (about five years). There was Ariston, now Millet. I have never saved on salt and detergents, since the funds quite allow the car to be repaired more expensively. I used almost always calgonite (and salt, and powder, and rinse aid). Sometimes interspersed with Crystal Fix, but not often. Both on Ariston, and now at the mile, the water hardness is set to the maximum. We have very hard water. The salt is used very well. Plus, I use pills, but I don't include the pills (this is now a recommendation in the mile - do not save salt with hard water, there is not enough salt in the pill). Well ... I don't know how good or bad calgonite is, but after 3 years of work in the nozzles of the sprayers in Ariston, scum plates constantly got stuck. Thin and flat. The same as in the teapot are usually.I broke them with a toothpick (they are fragile) and knocked them out. It means that the heating elements are covered with it and there is clearly not enough salt. With some frequency it is necessary to fight scale.
To be honest, I did not find a direct mention of citric acid in Millet's PM cleaning product. There are a bunch of surfactants, additives for gum seals and other chemicals. But in all that I met in powder form - there is. In some it is just stupid lemon and nothing else.

I'm afraid to torment the new washing machine (Millet) with a lemon. This I filled in the old one, everything is OK, it still works for my mother.

I have chosen a Hansa HDW 600 dishwasher. Her price is now attractive, no one else has it? I would like at least some kind of feedback about her. At first I wanted a simple Bosch SGS53E02-not very much money for a dishwasher. But there is no such thing in Odessa, they say the old model, and the new ones are either 3 programs, or much more expensive. After reading Temka I decided to take VekoDFN 6610, and then I thought maybe VekoDFN1500 would be enough. And then this Hansa caught my eye. I would like to buy cheap and angrily, I have been choosing for more than a month now I can not decide which is better. Girls, help me, I want to wash the dishes in the dishwasher, but I just can't decide on anything.
fugaska
oh, and I want a dishwasher ... maybe for the new year my husband will still take pity on me ...
what kind of hansa? I'm also interested, I would also like "cheap and cheerful"
Boo Boo
Scarecrow My dishwasher has been around for many years. The heating element is open and there is no scale. I have never used cleaning products, oh I lie. This summer, once and only because the PM stood for 1 year in an unheated garage.
Scarecrow
And I have a lot. More precisely it was. On an old dishwasher. Maybe the quality of the water affects this?
Boo Boo
Water naturally affects. But if the amount of salt is sufficient, then there should be no scale.
Berry
Since we're talking about lemon. This summer, ten flew at the Bosch washing machine (a month before the end of the warranty period). The master said that this is from powder, especially for children, where there is a lot of soap. And I only washed them for 1.5 years. According to him, a high-quality powder should dissolve within 10 minutes until the ten is working, then, as soon as the ten begins to heat up, the powder settles on the ten and corrodes it. Recommended using liquid detergents. When I asked about the lemon, I categorically said "NO", because it not only removes scale, but also flushes some grease on the bearings and they fly. I recommended a special powder that they sell in their service center. Maybe it's just some kind of advertisement, but I believed it ....
And our water is very hard, the filter in the jug is not enough even for a month.
himichka
I have been washing for 8 years. Whirlpool machine, cleaned with lemon regularly. At first I bought an expensive German product, then I realized that the main component in it is citric acid and there was nothing to throw the days to the wind.
Ksusha
If I'm wrong, correct it, I won't be offended. Scale is an alkali. Alkali dissolves with acid. School chemistry course. And no matter how much I read the composition of the anti-scale products - this or that acid + fragrances. Therefore, also my lemon washer. And in general - why citric acid is bad for a bearing, and acid from a branded scent bag is good.
sazalexter
scale: carbonate (carbonate salts of calcium and magnesium - CaCO3, MgCO3), sulfate (CaSO4) and silicate (silicic compounds of calcium, magnesium, iron, aluminum). 🔗Scale

I’ll start to have a quiet hysterics ... but it’s like setting salt on Beko ... only rinse aid ...
Another question, once I poured salt and forgot to tighten the lid, my daughter screamed and I quickly threw the pill and cut in the PMM, when I opened it, I saw that the lid was lying next to it - the salt sensor lit up during the washing trail ... is that very bad?
and once forgot to put a pill
and so what powder would you recommend to me?

My friend Veko has 6830. The salt level is set there.

And here, to my joy, I opened the program Auto!!! In general, it shows me 134 minutes (more than two hours), and I did not use it. And today I decided to check on a half-empty car ... Well, I don't know how much she washed, but that less than an hour is for sure. So now I push my half hour and switch to Auto!

It was so with me. Nothing fatal, but for a very long time all the dishes after washing were cloudy. Apparently, the powder that got into the salt compartment has not been washed away yet.

Veko definitely has a hardness setting ... and there is an AUTO program too ...Hairpin,it's good that you found it at home, otherwise everywhere such horror stories are written about short programs. ...

I don't know, the master told me this.
I studied the package now. There is no composition, just written sulfamic acid. Made in Italy. There is no name on the package, for washing machines and dishwashers.

overcame stupidity - of course, I set the water hardness
girls, rejoiced, rejoiced and trouble. tell me who knows
there was a problem - there was a smell when washing the PMM of something melting ... burnt or something. turned off, the smell seems to be gone, the outlet does not smell, there is no smell inside either. I don’t know what it can be and what to do as an evil eye ...

What's wrong with short programs? I like. 60 *, and in less than 30 minutes. - clean dishes. I don't use pills, only powder + salt + rinse aid. With rare exceptions, it washes everything. Well, such exceptions don't just happen on short programs.

That is the problem. there is a smell in the kitchen, but I don’t understand the place where the machine comes from. sniff the panel again, thanks

I just admit the thought that this film may smell ... when heated ...

I will keep my fists that the film smelled!
milena20111984
oh, I also hope very well, even in the cartoon after that the film on the display tore off, just in case
Lionsea
I will briefly describe my impressions of the Beko DFS 6830. I liked the machine very much, it washes everything on the hour program, the display is very readable and pretty. Filters at the bottom are ALL removable for flushing.I really liked how he washes three-liter cans - as many as six dirty three-liter cans fit into the lower basket! and everyone was washed to a shine :-))) I was very worried that the machine was small, but after using it (we drove it specifically, to generally check for performance), I realized that small cars are no worse than large ones! and I even regret that I bought my "elephant" Blomberg ... What else can I say positive ... mmm ... 8 programs, although I think everyone will use 1-2 programs, folding holders in the lower basket, a sturdy door and handle (our Blomberg's handle turned out to be flimsy), there is a half load (very nice), well, it’s all for now ... In general, only positive emotions remained from the machine. If someone has specific questions about this machine, ask what I can - I will help (though from memory ... the machine remained in use by my 75-year-old mother)
zvezda
I would also add to the pluses an adjustable upper basket, quiet operation, a bright display. And I use programs 5 out of 8, and after the New Year holidays .... I generally love her even more !!!
Volna27
Kind time of the day. My message will probably be more addressed to Milena about the smell of the dishwasher. Do you have Veko by any chance? We bought Veko 5830 a month and a half ago, it was a gift to me from my husband, I naturally could not get enough of because we constantly have problems with washing dishes :)) But happiness did not last long at high temperatures, the machine began to emit a terrible smell from which I feel very bad and headaches begin. We endured for a month because the instructions say that a specific smell may be present, but after a month it was impossible to endure, we called the store and they took the machine to the technical service. After a while, we got back a machine with an act stating that there is a smell of new household appliances and the smell is emitted by a "rubberized noise isolator - a heater installed with an adhesive method on the outer surface of the inner working chamber" that when it is supposed to disappear (the machine uses epoxy resins when heated residues of hardeners and their decomposition products). They called the dealership, they brushed aside they say you deal with the store that's all. Sorry for the huge text - painful :))
Tanyusha
Volna27 is here for many girls of the century and for more than a year and no one has written about the smell, maybe you still got a defective one.
Volna27
I think the same about marriage, but what to do with it? And who has this Veko 5830 model? Maybe some kind of batch was defective?
belka
Girls, did anyone have a built-in PMM CENTURY?
Everyone is praising Veko here, but only detached ones - and I took a look at the installation - share it if someone came across.

Yes, I had exactly the same smell as you described, the feeling that something was melting inside, I cut it out, smelled it, smelled nothing, sniffed it outside, also not. our head ached, and we also have no kitchen door, the smell spread throughout the apartment. on this site they told me to rip off the film on the display and behind (I found nothing behind) - surprisingly, a month has passed and nothing smells, I pray that it doesn't smell.
I also had the thought that it was the handles from the pots that melted at high temperatures, although I did not notice anything. I don't know what it was ..
Where did you get it? we are on top

I live in Ukraine, in Kherson. Thanks for the advice, I'll take off all the tapes. The most interesting thing is that besides me, she stinks to nobody. Maybe I have a well-developed sense of smell? :))

Recently I wanted to wash the dishes on the most "brutal" program of 70 degrees. Yes! There is a smell like from the material that is pasted over the outside of the tank! But I didn't pay any attention to him before. So while I'm on my husband's side milena20111984.

They brought it to us last Saturday, but forgot the instructions in Russian and the warranty card (later, however, they brought it - we bought it in the online store OrderSPb). We were impatient all weekend to understand the instructions in Swedish. Yesterday at night they just had time to check it by rinsing. I sat and listened meticulously, because it is very important for me how quiet the car is running (42 dB claimed). At first I was upset because I heard her picking up water (don’t rush at me - noodles - with your slippers - this is my first PMM!), Then I was a little upset when I heard water jets over the iron tank. Then the machine turned on the turbo dryer - to her credit, silently, and her husband began to make fun of and tease, they say, the manufacturer measured the decibels on the fan operation. And then my refrigerator started working - it seemed like it was screaming in the middle of the night (old OKA), before that it seemed that its sound did not bother! And suddenly my husband and I realized one comforting thought - it's night! Silence all around - you can hear the car, but we are talking in a half-whisper - the children are asleep - and we can hear each other perfectly! They turned on the rinsing again and I went to the next room, leaving the doors to the room and the kitchen open. Almost NOTHING is heard in the room !!! In general, the main test was postponed to today.
And today I filled it to capacity with dishes smeared with butter, dough and years of dirt from storing some utensils in a box and decided to test the automatic mode first. We turned out to be right - during the day the noise from the gathering water did not strain at all - it was barely audible (and I was nervous to the sounds and smells), nothing was heard from the next room. The children were offended that she did not call them to the start of the launch - they also did not hear anything. In general, in my opinion, my Asko won the sound comparison with Boshik of one of the latest models from my friend. When the washing was over, I was puzzled: the pots with the dough were washed clean, the fat and oil too, and the rest ... the utensils that had been lying for many years did not wash off ... from the first time, the sour, seemingly unreachable, greasy crust began to peel off with flakes. And I was delighted! I played all day today - I washed, rinsed, I didn't even try all the modes - and I didn't have time for them all! Happiness was growing! And by the time the husband came home from work, it had grown so much that the husband himself was lucky from the mountain of shining dishes!
People, happiness is! I already love her !!!!!!!

And also - it is all steel, and inside too !!! And she has a "Status-light", like, "a ray on the floor", just not on the floor, but at the facade, and not one, but three different colors, indicating the stage of washing! Food with delight !!!

Wow, that's a dishwasher !!! Wow what a super super! Please accept tremendous congratulations!

Thank you very much, girls !!!
Now I'll tell you a "scary story" - how I got scared today for my typewriter. It was like this: the next wash was over and I started to get the dishes. Well, I also looked at the upper rocker for something - somehow it hangs a little crookedly, apparently, there is a little water left in one of its wings. I take it and twist it - the water dripped in - according to the perception, no more than three tablespoons in volume! Suddenly the pump turned on! The car beeps, I - crazy - stare inside, because the car is turned off and open - I don’t understand what’s the matter! Mechanically I begin to close it (forgetting that the lower basket with plates, etc., had been deflated), the lower basket, with a deafening clink of plates, whistled back inside (well, at least nothing broke!). Itself, spitting on the plates, I look at the bottom of the door - at the "status light" - the red signal is flashing! I glance at the scoreboard - it says "overflow"! I was scared to the point of foolishness in my head! I don’t know who was in charge of my hands at that moment, only by some instinct I poked my finger at the “Start” button ....... and a miracle! .... the squeak and red blinking stopped, the scoreboard returned to standard positions program selection! In short, I exhaled and sat for a long time in prostration ... That's how today I got an idea of how the issue of protection against leaks is organized in my car - the sensor worked perfectly and when it was triggered, the machine began to pump out water, being turned off, several times more than this water was received. When the fright let go of me, I again felt a creeping delight and satisfaction! But I got nervous - beyond words!
