Andrey, I was looking at your site, very interested in the 2 in 1 diabot. So you can tell about it. How reliable is it, if what glitches does it have, or is it better to take an ordinary robot? I have a kopeck piece about 60 m, without carpets, laminate floors and tiles
Andrey_robo
Hello Mabo!
D76 is a fairly new model, it's hard to say in terms of reliability, but I don't know about warranty cases yet.
In general, a very interesting option, especially for allergy sufferers and those who are interested in buying a second vacuum cleaner.
Less - takes up more space on the floor
Pros: less contact with dust, less frequent cleaning of the robot + additional vacuum cleaner (portable and lightweight).

But for an apartment of 60 sq. M. I would recommend the simpler models.

Try to describe what is most important for you in a robot and a vacuum cleaner?
I will try to suggest by the model

Now the most popular (for information):
Roomba 521 \ 780 \ 564
DeeBot D56 \ 58

In terms of reliability - the simpler the robot, the more reliable!
(this applies to all technology, just fewer parts that can break or malfunction)
sve
I have a 770 model. It works properly, the area is almost 90 sq., Cleans perfectly: parquet, carpets, linoleum, tiles, laminate - whatever your heart desires. Very clean! And the question is - where does so much dirt come from? - also torments.
Scarecrow
Dear comrades. I wanted my husband in the DR Nav to give a rumba dert dog (for cleaning large coarse garbage in the garage). Firstly, I can't find a nifiga, and secondly, can anyone have it? How was it? Is the container roomy? There is a garage, there is a decent amount of dirt and debris ... Is there an alternative for about the same money?
Andrey_robo
You will not find it in Russia, it was not supplied.
And it seems to have been taken out of production for a long time.
How much are you counting on?
Have a look qq-02 at 🔗 in the section up to 10,000 rubles.
I will give it to you for 8300
But this is pure China, although it works well
Scarecrow
Well ... I don't play like that ...

I don't want China. I'm mischievous, yes. I don't like China in any form other than licensed things. I want something more reliable, but, most importantly, without fine cleaning, otherwise it will die in the garage right away (there is a lot of dirt and dust from cars). In fact, this is a self-propelled electric brush with a container, which is what Dert dog was. I looked at rumba pet - it will not work, it is essentially the same as a regular rumba. She will die there in 10 minutes. Filters and small container will clog.

The money is not very limited. But I did not find any analogues.

Andrey_robo

Andrey, are there any discounts on rumba for bakers, if what? I'm looking at 780 (I decided to buy the second one).
Andrey_robo
Yes, in the garage, in such harsh conditions, I think any robot will suffer ...
Mechanisms will still clog from excessive dirt. I think there are no such options yet who could be guaranteed to recommend for such conditions.

On account of discounts - yes.
But please write to robot @ 1- with a link to this forum.
We'll discuss everything

With all respect, Andrew

Is the sound mechanical or electronic?
What kind of model?

It's hard to diagnose remotely, and I'm not a service technician, but most likely the problem is in the mechanisms
The gears must be looked at, they wound a lot of dirt (hair / wool)

The sound is mechanical, disappears when the sills are moved or if you hit it from above. There is hardly a lot of dirt, since there are no animals. , But ATP, I'll take a look at this item.

There are a lot of mechanics, most likely some kind of gear or reducer. But we can get it all the same. So it is impossible to diagnose through the forum. And if you bought it not in Russia, then our representative of Ayrobot most likely will not take it, this is a "gray" product for them.
Unfortunately, there is nothing more to tell, you need to disassemble and look ...

Goods are sent by mail from 7 to 14 days. Ems is a little more expensive, it takes from 4 to 10 days.

If there are dogs, then from Irobot you need model 564 Pet, its price is really 22 900
but only in it the container is more or less suitable for wool. Inexpensive models will also collect it, but the container is not so convenient and the capacity there is less for air collection.

From DeeBot - D56 for 12 800 will do
in it, the container for wool is suitable + filtration is better + really cleans carpets.
but unlike Airobot, it covers a slightly smaller area on a single charge. But on the other hand, the brush sweeps harder (it is pressed harder to the floor and therefore cleans the carpet much harder).

Upon delivery - as a discount, delivery will be free (at our expense).

If you call me, I will tell you in detail and answer your questions.

do you still recommend D56? Rumba is a little expensive. I looked at Rumba 521.Maybe the brushes from Pet are suitable for him ...

What dogs?
I have rumba 581, it seems, for about 2 years. Well, in general, never a pet, only the equipment is good and the battery is more capacious, and the mechanics, as far as I understand, are not much different from the cheaper models. If anything - Andrew, as a specialist will correct. And two corsa. I mean, if you don’t know, these are two such guard short-haired dogs, more than 60 kg each. With the appropriate "nap" shedding area. There are no carpets (not counting one small penny in the living room), I don't like them. So the rumba collects this wool without any problems. The container does not overfill with regular cleaning. If the wool is really long, it will wrap around the brushes. However, both me and my friend have rumbas on the brushes in the same catastrophic way ... our long hair. I needed to buy rumba pet for myself. Not for dogs.

I had three Frenchmen. The coat of the French and Corso is similar. Lays around with long "cilia" everywhere, clogs in long-naped rugs. It can only be removed from there with some kind of turbo brush (I have a Dyson). Any Rumba you do not pick it out from there. Anything that is simply lying on the bare floor or not caught on carpets will be assembled without problems. I did not see the difference in the principles of work of 521 and pet on the site. Extra container at rumba pet? Well, I have more wool (my dogs are 10 times larger in area and weight than yours), the container does not overflow.
mowgli
Damn, I want to take it because of the wool on the carpet. But the Turkish carpet has no nap as such. I just come home from school and the children come to my house to study, I don't even have time to go through the vacuum cleaner before. So I thought to let him in while I was at work. Three rooms with a total area of 40 meters. But most importantly, I realized that the operating principle of the dear and not very the same, there is only no programming.

At the expense of dogs, wool, expensive and inexpensive Rumb and PET containers:
1) Indeed, the principle of operation of the entire fifth series of Rumba is the same, with the exception of PET. There is a container "aerovac" - this is its biggest plus. The fact is that in an ordinary Rumba the brushes only throw in what they can pick up mechanically - by rotation. And the robot sucks in air into the gap between the rubber bands. and it is placed in a separate compartment. So in AEROVAK - air is sucked in through the brushes and the collection of wool becomes more efficient !!!
2) Yes, 521 will also collect well, but see point 1. Believe me, there is a difference. It was not for nothing that Ayrobot invented this container and is now putting it on the seventh series (there is Aerovac # 2 already)
3) Rumba carpets are not very good because of the structure of the brushes. On the carpets, I wrote and posted a photo of the dough - Diabot D56 collects 2 times more because his brush is stronger and pressed to the floor better, respectively, and the carpet "scratches" more

But Rumba lasts longer on a single charge than Diabot. The choice is yours...

Yours faithfully,

Chamomile
Dear ones.
I am reporting after some time. I have the cheapest model Rumba 521 44 sq. M. total area, linoleum. Cleans well. If heavily soiled, you can start it again. I was faced with the fact that an almost straight corridor cleans to a shine. And the kitchen in which there is a corner in the middle and the table is not always cleaned perfectly. The reason is that under the corner seat, it can only drive in from one side. It does not fit from the sides. The legs at the seat are close together and the Rumbik does not extend across the width. Moreover, the table in front of the corner stands on 4 legs. In general, he pushes into the legs, pushes and seems to clean, but not perfect. I have to run it twice in the kitchen.
But in all other respects I have no complaints. Cleans very well. The floor after him shines like washed. It's like he's rubbing it. And every litter, dust, sand collects perfectly. She began to walk barefoot. Purity.Nothing sticks to your feet. And the wool collects all. But my soba is slick. As soon as Rumbik passes everything, he will rub it against the wall and roll around on the floor and again scraps of wool.
I run it every other day, but it happens every day as needed.
Yes, another little problem. As it turned out (I didn’t pay attention before) I almost always had water in my kitchen and corridor. The dog drinks and wets his ears in water. And drips from them to the floor. I have to close it with me in the room and not let it out until the wiped drops dry out. Only in the field of this I start Rumbik, because here on the forum they said and in the instructions it is written that Rumbik is afraid of water.
The brushes have to be cleaned constantly, and so does the container. I selected a hook for the brushes from my knitters. A lot of wool reels. I clean the container and brushes twice for cleaning the apartment. About after the kitchen and hallway, and the second time after the rooms at the end of cleaning. It doesn't work otherwise. The brushes become clogged and begin to click. The girls wrote that over time it becomes cleaner and it is not so often necessary to clean Rumbika, but it is still dirty for me.
The charge is just enough for an apartment. I clean my room last, so Rumbik already starts blinking and runs to exercise, but has time to clean it.

If you are talking about Rumba, then yes, his brush is good for "grabbing" and not as a turbo brush. She herself is more liquid, but the main thing is not as much about the floor as we would like ...
But in general - Irobot is the market leader for a reason, the quality of cleaning is generally very good!

D56 is a very good model for a combination of price and quality. And I laid out a test photo that he collects more Rumba, taking into account the carpets. You don't need to disassemble it. Removing the brushes for cleaning is not necessary and difficult.
By the way, cleaning the Diabot is a little more comfortable than Rumba in my opinion.

But if you don't take Diabot, then only Ayrobot. there are no other alternatives and do not experiment !!!
mowgli
and a couple more questions: it is written that rumbo does not get confused in the fringe of carpets and wires, but as a diabot? And about the battery: the rumbo has a zaplming effect, and this is not very convenient, but what about the diabot?
Andrey_robo
AT the expense of the fringe and confusion: indeed, Rumba has a little better with this case, and his permeability is a little better. But if the wires are very thin, or the rope lies on the floor, there is still a chance to get tangled and wind it all up on a brush, either central or side.
But Rumba's passability sometimes plays a negative role - for example, he often gets stuck where Diabot does not even try to climb (I have several such places in my house: wardrobe, shelves lying on the floor, stands for DK speakers)

Both Rumba and Diabot have batteries of the same type. Yes, to extend their life, it is recommended to fully discharge, but the main thing is to KEEP FULLY CHARGED! This is a general rule.
In other matters, I do not see any difficulties with this.
Andrey_robo
If you use the robot regularly, it is better to keep it at the base all the time. It consumes a minimum of energy, but the battery is constantly recharged and the service life will be maximum. If you are leaving on vacation, then we turn off the base, remove the robot and also turn it off into the pantry ...
Andrey_robo
buying 560 - gray model! will remain without warranty and service if anything ...

780-excellent model, best on the market
but I would only recommend it to those who have an apartment over 100 sq. m.
if less - the fifth series will cope

But in order to make a choice, you need to know all the factors:
what's on the floor?
if there are pets?
do i need a timer?
etc.
Andrey_robo
Irobot supplies to Russia only officially defined models through an exclusive representative.
If the robot was bought not in Russia and there is no service coupon, then why do you think they should service it under warranty?
In addition, there are models that were simply not supplied to our market and there will be no spare parts for them.
And for example, I don't know alternative services for robots ...
So all warranty and repairs will be on the conscience of the seller and his qualifications.
If you have a cat (fur), the Roomba 564 Pet or 780 is the best choice
here the containers of the Aerovak system for wool are irreplaceable!
Albina
I read the whole topic I would like not to be cheap, but also get a good reliable model. 🔗 the prices are tempting. But it's scary if you come across any model with a defect
We have a family of five (my husband and I and three sons), we have a cat. My hair is long and the cat's hair is visible to everyone around the house. And my men don't fade at all
All our carpets have been rolled up for a long time. Laminate throughout the apartment, tiles in the kitchen, hallway and bathroom.
Andrey_robo
Albina:
on 🔗 apparently they are selling counterfeit robots - these are gray deliveries without Irobot's guarantee or other junk. It's up to you, the purchase is not cheap - you need a guarantee and a proven service!
For your conditions, you need the 564 Pet model from Irobot (780 - it will also be super - but expensive).
564 is optimal!

Of course, I'll give you a discount if that, but I sell only official models with a guarantee, their prices are slightly higher than for gray models. Trust me it's worth it. You never know what.

It is difficult to say, because from the 5th series I have 581 rumba, which even now is only 3 thousand cheaper than 780. Containers for collecting garbage and the principle of collecting this garbage are clearly different for them. 780 is touch-sensitive, its design is different, you can immediately see that a more modern product, in my opinion, the cleaning algorithm is different (software), because it has some other principles of movement. I cannot say that there is a phenomenal difference. In addition, there is no experience of working on the second floor of 581 rumba (well, compare the amount of garbage collected, for example), it is on the first. But today 780 almost died in the nursery (area - 25 sq. M.): He ate some pieces of paper, filled the entire container with rubbish, got stuck under the sofa). The nursery is a scary place for a vacuum cleaner.

Thank you for your quick review. I tested the house 552 with an air tank - in principle I liked it, but for my apartment I still need the virtual walls of the Light House and the battery more powerful. BUT we have 780 almost 2 times more expensive than 552. Therefore, we will wait until prices calm down

Scarecrow, You are the owner of two of the most interesting Rumba models for us. Please tell me a few questions
1. What is the behavior of the vacuum cleaner (and 581 and 780), if the charge is not enough to clean the room. I understand that when the battery charge is low for work, the vacuum cleaner finds the base itself and starts charging. But does he climb off of it himself and does he continue cleaning after charging? Or does the room remain unfinished?

2. I heard that there are so-called beacons in the 581st model. They serve to prevent the robot from leaving a room that has not yet been cleaned. Did I understand correctly? And do they work in reality (in the sense, do you need to reach for the models equipped with them)? Are there such beacons in the 780 model?

3. It is written that the 581 model comes with
RF center. RF remote control with programming function. Powered by 4 AA batteries.
And the 780 is just Remote control.
Please tell me what is it? Is it the same thing, or is it different bells and whistles? Do you use it? Again, is this a necessary feature, or well, her

4. Does the AeroVac waste bin (mod 780) differ from the simple one (mod 581) in size? Is this an updated version of the container like in the PET models?

Thanks in advance for the answers

I'll try to answer ...
1. If the charge is not enough for cleaning, it crawls back to the base to recharge itself.Provided that it was started from the base or the cleaning was programmed. If they just brought it into the room and started it, it will clean the allocated room and sing about it. Cleaning does not resume after recharging. 581 and 780 are usually enough for the entire room and return back (this is 90 square meters. Each! 780 did not completely discharge yesterday, although it was cleaned poorly. I'm already tired.). There may not be enough charging if he got entangled in something and stood like that for half a day.

2. Coordinators, in my opinion, are needed if the room is large and complex configuration (several rooms). He is well guided by them, at first he cleans up one room entirely and only then goes to another. Without coordinators (I periodically run out of batteries in them, although they last for a long time), he chaotically leaves somewhere in the "fields" (well, where he turned with his "nose" and there is a passage, he went there). Apparently, the software is not designed to be as complex. configuration of movement, so the quality of harvesting is low (I missed one, but I accidentally left for another, etc.). My coordinators are in the doorways, the base is in the central hall in the middle (from the hall there is an entrance to 3 rooms).

3. The remotes, as far as I understand, are just of a different principle of operation, but for the same. In 581, the pulst is similar to a flying saucer the size of a saucer, in 780 - like from a TV. Rumba can be controlled with their help, like a radio machine. I practically don't use them at all. This is a feature, in fact - unnecessary extras, but they are included, where can you go? The only thing is that I use the remote control to look for my vacuum cleaner if I come home in the evening (I have programmed cleaning for them), but there is none at the base. It means that somewhere "died" in an unequal battle with wires or pieces of paper, got stuck under the sofa (it happens). And since the area is large and there are also "hot" places, I take the remote control and it responds, like, Mom, save me, I'm here.

4. The container for 780 seems to me a little larger due to the design features of the new filters, but not so much that it becomes a decisive moment when choosing a model. This is a second-generation aerial vehicle (it seems exactly like a PET, but modified). The size of the container is sufficient in this case. I thought that it would not be enough when I bought 581, but with my volumes, 4 family members and two large dogs, it is enough. Moreover, if cleaning is daily / every other day.
The 780, in my opinion, has a higher cleaning quality. I drove him twice yesterday across the entire 2nd floor, where there is a solid carpet in the rooms. He collected a lot, especially if you consider that 5 days ago everyone was vacuumed there with a Dyson (and his turbo brush is brutal, it collects perfectly). On the carpet, a sensor of increased pollution (blue) often worked and he crawled around one place, collecting. On 581, this sensor is triggered only if something really not very small is well scattered (sugar, buckwheat). There was definitely no sugar or buckwheat on the carpet, and I don't see that he licks it so carefully, but licks it off. There is a lot of dusty contents in the container. It fits well under somewhat raised furniture such as sofas, where you can't reach with a massive turbo brush, but the dust accumulates catastrophically. It's important for me. Yesterday he crawled under our huge double bed and grazed there for a very long time, sparkling with a blue sensor.

I hope I answered. If something is not clear - write ...

So, I bought two robotic vacuum cleaners: roomba 560 for 17 thousand and iclebo smart for 21.5 thousand rubles.
The first for myself, the second for mom.
The guarantee has already been discussed here. I read that all normal sellers of robotic vacuum cleaners, and not only them, conclude some kind of contract with home appliance repair services for their money. That is, the seller sold the vacuum cleaner, made an agreement on it with a service cantor, which he paid for a guarantee. The technique rarely breaks down, services easily conclude such agreements with sellers, since it is beneficial for them. And even if the equipment breaks down, then it is naturally repaired, and at the same time they do not remain at the expense. The main thing is that there should be a guarantee AT ALL, the main thing is that the store is not a one-day store.
Bought here: 🔗 Some acquaintances suggested who bought there. We received vacuum cleaners 4 days after ordering, both models were available. The warranty card is, with all seals and stamps. The price is the lowest while I still needed something .. nothing. There is a guarantee, my mother and I are very pleased with the robots.
Here everyone chooses what and where to buy, but I’ve bought it, I don’t regret it.

Do you think I know who and how will fix my robot in the event of a breakdown, and what they know how to fix in Volgograd, and what not? I have a guarantee, and then it's the seller's problem. I bought, received a guarantee; cannot fix - let him give a new robot.
As for PR, I had asked Andrey about robots before, and I really wanted to buy rumba with a coupon. I just changed my mind, because now I have succeeded at the same price almost + not to wait 2 or 2.5 months.

Dear ones.
I used Rumbik for 2 months. Small conclusions. Clean more often! If you want to always be clean, then you need to clean it every other day. I got sick here. I lay there all week. And she did not give her son TSU (valuable instructions). He got sick too. The mud was so diluted that when they brought Rumbik, he could not cope. Mostly in the kitchen. Somewhere tea was spilled (not sweet), somewhere water, fine litter on top, crumbs, wool. They walked around all this themselves, the dog stomped on ... Everything stuck. Even after drying, Rumbik couldn't handle it. The litter is not stuck, the freshly fallen wool is removed and that's it. My Dimka had a mop in his hands and in the old fashioned way, as before Rumbik, to wash everything. Don't think that I had a terrible horror in my kitchen. It was just dirty. But not terribly dirty.
Conclusion. No matter how bad it was - start Rumbika. Do not be lazy !!! Then it's worse to clean up! Harder. This topic has already been written about this, but, as they say, repetition is the mother of learning.
Like this. This vacuum cleaner is designed for daily cleaning. Well, almost daily.

Oh, I can't wait ... and if there is a recharge there, then you need to discharge it to the end and then put it on recharging (as with a cell phone?)?

No, not required. You can just put it on charge right away.

He told me all sorts of things about the mistake, and I - do not shirk, let's work ...
Animated, in short a guy, but snarls in a "woman's" voice ... So maliciously ...

What do you do when he talks about a mistake? He sometimes gives it to me during charging. This is especially pleasing at night And the light bulb starts blinking almost crimson. Out of fright, I take it off the charge and I don't know - am I doing the right thing? I have no instructions, he is American.

Anna1957! What mistake is he talking about? number? Did you teach him to speak Russian? I also have amerikos. Can you have voltage drops in the network?

She didn't teach me how to speak Russian, didn't even know what was possible. The number - it seems to me that they don't talk about the number, I can only distinguish the error, and which one - I don't have time to catch it.As for the voltage drops, I don't know for sure, but it's unlikely: other electrical appliances don't react, and Peter still ...

Good morning!

So I became the proud owner of Robik Irobot Roomba 564 Pet. I dreamed about it for six months and finally bought it in our city in the Irobot representative store. Andrei, Thank you for informing here that there is an official website, otherwise I first contacted some suspicious store, which disappeared altogether. Thank God I didn't have time to place an order there. And here the service center serves this store, and spare parts can always be bought.

Andrei, I have another question. You wrote that in order for the battery to work in full force, you need to discharge Robik to the end, and only then put it on charge. I didn't quite get it. Here I have a robot tidied up in the room and there is still a charge left.Shouldn't it be returned to base? Put it next to the base, when it is discharged, he will drive to it. Or do you need to monitor when it is discharged and put it on it, or even send it to the base not completely discharged? Something does not reach me. Can you explain please.

I received messages in a personal message asking me to write an impression about Robik. I decided to write here so as not to repeat myself to everyone.

I really like the robot. But he worked for me so far, only one bought only the day before yesterday. Yesterday I cleaned it, licked it so that then the floor passed with a damp cloth - not a single villi gathered. And the carpet cleans perfectly. But it takes a long time to clean. I got stuck under the furniture once. I have a sill in my bathroom - so he easily overcomes it, he also freely drives on the carpet. In general, everything suits, if only it worked without breakdowns. It is very simple and easy to clean. I am suffering with an ordinary vacuum cleaner, when I think that it is necessary to pick out the wool from the bag, but here it is super, shook it out in a bag. And the brushes are easy to remove.
