Porridge North (stove / multicooker)

Ingredients

1 tablespoon buckwheat
1 cup rice
3 pcs medium carrots
1 large beet
300-400 gr of champignons or a handful of dried mushrooms
3 - 3.25 cups multicooker water (depending on rice)

Cooking method

  • The difference between cooking in a slow cooker and on the stove is the ratio of cereal: water. 3.5 tbsp water for a regular saucepan
  • Soak dried mushrooms for 1 hour, drain the water. Peel and cut fresh mushrooms. I use ready-made canned chopped mushrooms.
  • Peel and grate carrots and beets or cut into very thin strips.
  • Place everything in layers, spreading each layer evenly. All the buckwheat, all the beets + mushrooms on top, all the rice on top and all the carrots at the end. Pour water and salt. In the multicooker, the buckwheat mode. Bring to a boil on the stove, reduce heat to low and cook, covered, until the water has completely evaporated. Season the prepared porridge with oil.

: girl_red: I just put the same one in a multicooker on Krupa mode. Only instead of carrots I put onions, there were no carrots. Let's see and try.
