the price was great. The only thing that consoles me is that delivery to me was one and a half times more expensive than a grater

Yesterday was played by the Giant ...
Vegetable graters and shredders, kevlar glovesVegetable graters and shredders, kevlar gloves
then rubbed the onion
Vegetable graters and shredders, kevlar gloves
added pepper and made a casserole ...
Vegetable graters and shredders, kevlar gloves
the result: a good toy ... but when you rub on a cabbage, in a flat place, you have to press harder, and it was hard for me ... and it flies in different directions ... but nothing ... we will collect ... but I liked the onion, so thin ...
Deana
Helen, with the purchase! Here's what flies confuses, but it's always visible with cabbage, no matter what graters you use. Maybe rub it in the bathroom?
And how did you rub the onion? It is small, was it comfortable to hold?

I didn't cut off the tail, and held it by it ... and then with one side, then with the other ... and that's it ... quickly, subtly ...

Not an eagle for me either
Of course, let such a grater be, sometimes you can do something to it, it is sharp. When you need a lot of thin slices, that's good. I have cabbage - very fine, on the berner it is better and there is less garbage.
Masha Ivanova
Deana, Dina! You will adjust quickly. You can't cut the butt off the bulb, you stick it on the holder and rub it. You can use a fork, but I don't really like it. There are leftovers after the holder, of course, I cut it off with a knife, but a little remains.
Sometimes on the same grater with 4 blades and rub something else besides cabbage and onions. I can, for example, rub the beets with thin circles, and then cut these circles with a knife into strips, so that I do not stain any other grater. I pervert in different ways depending on my mood.
But I repeat once again that just because of one cabbage slicing, this grater is already worth having. And cutting the rest of the products, such as cheese, frozen meat, etc., is already so, a pleasant bonus is simple. Well, the carrot-potato cleaner in this Giant is just super awesome! He removes a little thick skin, but sometimes it even needs to be done.
Fifanya
Today I just planed frozen meat, great. I wish I was tormented by a knife

The second is called universal, is it really convenient for them to cut different vegetables and fruits into thin slices?

Is there a lot of garbage from it, scraps to the sides, like from a giant? Any other vegetables you can shred with it?
Tata74
Crown, Galina, I also have the same as in the first photo, with two blades. I use it all the time, and I got used to it quickly and easily. although I’m reading everything about the Giant and meditating myself - I am

I have not tried others, I have it for cabbage. Garbage (thoughtful), nothing more than a simple knife, that is, nothing. But I cut right above the bowl, keeping both the cabbage and the knife hanging. I feel so comfortable.
Rituslya
And I have such a cleaver for cabbage. I give them grunt, gruff and quickly, quickly everything is cut.

Crown, but such a shredder with two blades did not work for me. For several years both my husband and I tried to adapt to her - but something didn't work. Indeed, cabbage scatters, it turns out in speed practically no faster than with an ordinary knife, but it's hard for the hands - and the shredder is heavier than a regular knife, and somehow it is not very good to keep the cabbage on weight (especially when it is cold - from the refrigerator - hand is cold). In general, I gave the shredder to my girlfriend, but it seems that the girlfriend did not use it either.
Gata
And I never adapted to it - I don't feel its edge - I specifically cut my fingers twice and stopped suffering, but my mother loves him very much and uses it for cabbage all the time (she didn't buy mine well, she experimented with it) - garbage from him as from simple knife, just cut on the table on the board. She has one blade and the bottom is also sharp. Like Rita's.

That is, this knife also shreds cabbage with two blades at the same time, not only with the middle, but also with a sharp edge? And what is the slice thickness, mm 2 or more?
Rituslya
Crown, yes, yes, exactly 2 blades: both the middle and the bottom edge. Next to me now lies, touched, such a sharp one. Slicing is certainly thicker than that of the Giant, but I work with this knife faster and easier. My clumsy husband is also dashing.
The principle of operation is the same as that of a conventional knife.
Slice thickness? ... I don't know. We must go and cut the thread.

CrownGal, that knife with a metal handle ... It will be light ... And the one with a wooden handle, accordingly, the handle will be of a different weight ...

This I mean, think well about balancing in these two knives ... How would it be more convenient for you ... It is better to hold both in your hand, of course, but I would look to the side with a wooden handle

It seems so to me. Mom has a knife with a handle, which is made of metal, but she abandoned it. I once held it in my hands and the handle seemed a little light to me ...

And I really liked the Giant to chop cabbage for lazy cabbage rolls. You are worn out with the usual while you grind it neatly and evenly, but here it’s fast and thin.

Ritulyaso it's good. So the money was not wasted. I, on my Prima (berner), thinly chopped cabbage and realized that I did not need the Giant. And then Lena-Helen showed a thin cut photo.

I have a shredder as in the first photo - SUPER! Purchased 15 years ago for ridiculous money and still am not overjoyed. It is necessary to buy with a stainless base, otherwise now these two blades are inserted into a plastic base, this is money down the drain. I bought mine in the market, sometimes tables are set up and sold out, they arrange demonstration performances with all sorts of kitchen trifles such as dumplings, shredders, etc. So I bought exactly the shredder that this one was sold and worked with, but good slicing is guaranteed.
If the cabbage is small, then I cut half / quarter of the cabbage just on the weight above the table. If the cabbage is large, then I put it on the corner of the table so that a part hangs down, I substitute the basin on the bottom of the stool and crush it directly into the basin. Well, yes, there is a little flies, but it is absolutely not critical, nothing more than from a knife. The process takes several minutes, all cabbage is evenly shredded, just for pickling.
I tried to use the second knife, but could not adapt, threw it out.
So everything is very individual, like someone's hands are inserted into their shoulders.

And no one argues that the shredder is not great. But for a left-handed person, she does not fit. A very long time ago she gave this as unnecessary.

Svetlenki, This is a photo from the Internet, there are on sale with different pens, I overexposed all of them in my hands yesterday, asked the price, which is better in my hand, but the "working qualities" cannot be determined by eye, so I came here for advice.

Does he hold normally? I tried it once and it took off for me, I didn't risk it anymore.

But the cleaver did not go with me, and with a knife everything is large, we have some kind of large-wooded cabbage, I think it will be just fine to be a thin giant.

Because of this, the husband philonite from cutting cabbage with such a knife. He's left-handed and doesn't suit him.

I have a second knife in two copies - thicker and thinner shreds. I like thinner, my mom likes to make cabbage thicker. Both have been in demand for 10-12 years. I cut like a regular knife on a board. Fast and convenient. I also bought from a seller who chopped cabbage at the market. I have not tried other vegetables.
Ilmirushka
Girls, who is waiting for the Giant just like me? Zhenya called me back, they received the goods. Everything that is shown on the site is available. I have already placed an order. Sat down to wait, who is with me?
Masha Ivanova
Ilmirushka, Ilmirushka! There is also a Waffle nozzle, it is not yet on the site, but will soon be displayed. The price is the same = 350 rubles. There are no supports for the nozzles yet. They will probably be by the New Year (and maybe later), it is not yet known exactly.
Ilmirushka
Elena, I have it on the site this attachment, and it is available there, I ordered. About the stand ... I thought, but I probably don't need it, if the stand, then it needs to be put somewhere ... there is catastrophically no place on the table, I'd better hide everything in a drawer.
Masha Ivanova
Ilmirushka, Ilmira! With a stand, many will have the same problems (where to put it), although it would be very convenient.
I wrote, in fact, for those who do not know yet and will look and call in vain. Maybe someone wants to immediately with a stand and will wait to immediately order everything.
The kitchen drawer is a good thing for all of us, it saves space. But in my boxes, too, as they say, you can't figure it out without a bottle. Everything lies on top of one another.
