White cabbage (chopped)
sunflower seeds, lightly toasted
Soy sauce 4st. l.
Olive oil 1/4 cup
Sugar 1/2 cup
Vinegar 1/2 cup

Cooking method

  • The recipe is pretty simple but delicious.
  • The story is that for the first time I had a chance to try a salad with pine nuts. It was delicious, but the cost of these nuts pushed me away from making a salad. But I still wanted to do it. So I decided to try it with sunflower seeds. It turned out to be sooooo cool, with a characteristic taste of seeds, and the spicy filling makes this salad incredibly tasty. For a change, you can add sesame (I even tried it with peanuts, but not that).
  • Mix all the ingredients. Pour the sauce over the cabbage and add the seeds. Let it stand for a while and enjoy.
  • My observations on pouring: the recipe for pouring turns out to be a lot. If you take a small amount of cabbage, then fill less. I add much less vinegar, in general, I already regulate the taste with it.
