The twenty-first century is gaining momentum

21st century is gaining momentumOne of the most basic problems of mankind is the abundance of information, the fast pace of life, the ever-increasing intellectual workload.

All this causes chronic fatigue syndrome in people. The number of stress, depression, suicide is growing at an alarming rate. How can a modern person survive and cope with mental problems in this crazy race? How can he learn to relax and rest in our crazy world?

Brain spa

Medical scientists and engineers have been thinking about this problem for a long time. American researchers from the Medical University of South Carolina are now working to create a unique apparatus that can restore brain function in a matter of minutes and make a person feel fresh and rested. The invention will be a helmet equipped with special equipment capable of influencing the cerebral cortex and improving its performance. A couple of minutes in the "magic" helmet - and you will feel as if you were on a full vacation!

An even more interesting medical invention is the technology of growing new teeth, which is being worked on in Boston. For a mankind plagued by caries, these studies are extremely important. The essence of the new technology is as follows - from the genetic material taken from milk teeth in childhood, new and healthy full-fledged teeth will be grown, which are then implanted into the gums to replace the sick. Now scientists have managed to grow a new tooth from animal cells, but work with human material is not far off. However, soon they will grow not only new teeth, but also kidneys, liver, heart and other organs, and even easily change their appearance to suit every taste.

Fix yourself

The dream of all car enthusiasts - a car that repairs itself, may soon come true. At the University of Illinois, work is underway to create a similar car. They have developed a new polymer-based material that contains many capsules filled with a special fluid that can fill cracks and scratches on the sides of a car.

And at the California Institute of Technology, they are working on another material - it is able to take impacts, and then restore its original shape without any difficulty. That is, your car, having been in an accident, will suddenly become new and shiny again - as if nothing had happened.

And the vehicles themselves will change significantly. So, now in America they are working on creating an alternative to cars, subways, buses and trolleybuses. The new type of transport was named "horizontal lift". These are small, lightweight, narrow wagons running along specially designated lanes on the road. They will move with the help of electricity and a computer that controls all the trailers at once.

Also in the States, work is underway on a unique electric train "flying" over the heads of people. This is a completely new technology that differs from the existing ones. The train moves without a rail, relying only on lateral supports located at some distance from each other. From the outside it will seem that such trains are just flying over the noisy city.

21st century is gaining momentumScientists are trying to solve another problem with cars: as their number increases, it is often very difficult to find a parking space. The University of Massachusetts is now in full swing making miniature commuting cars that can be partially foldable. The process of parking them will resemble the procedure for storing carts in supermarkets - when they are inserted one into one.And in the morning such "clusters" of cars will be assembled at each office, and in the evenings the owners will disassemble them in turn.

Smart bath

A lot of interesting things have also been conceived in the field of computer technology. Evolution is going fast here, literally every day there is something new and unusual, but all these new items are not the limit. Computers of the next generations will contain a huge amount of information with a small size. Naturally, the data transfer rate will be fantastic. Displays will become very thin and flexible, capable of folding several times - as a result, they can be carried in a pocket, and, if necessary, unfold into the usual volume for the eye. All keyboards will all become virtual - that is, they will be projected from the monitor onto a comfortable flat surface.

In addition, computerization will step even deeper into our everyday life - smart machines will do household chores, for example, turn on the heating system at home, inform about the need to replenish food supplies, keep clean and tidy, and control robots. Computer "stuffing" will appear in almost all household appliances and even furniture. So, a "thinking" sofa, for example, will adapt to the position of the owner's body or give him a massage. It remains only to wait for these blessed times.

Such prosaic devices as ordinary bathtubs will also be equipped with computers. These computers will calculate the temperature and pressure of the water and help you give you an underwater massage. A person will only have to set a program, go to the bath and enjoy.

Robots work, not humans

Robots, according to the forecasts of scientists, very soon will densely enter our life. Japanese scientists are working on models of domestic robots that can do all the work. They will be able to cook dinners, make tea, wash windows, floors or dishes, change bedding.

Some trial models are already coping with the laborious and tedious household chores with might and main. So, in some houses a model has already appeared household robot vacuum cleaner... He cleans the apartment on his own and charges his batteries himself - when the robot discovers that the batteries are starting to run out, he moves to the charger. In space, he orients himself using ultrasound, which allows him not to collide with furniture or fall off the steps. The robot is distinguished by a relatively high speed of work - in a second it removes 40 square centimeters of the floor. Since the robot is small in size, it is able to reach the most difficult places and vacuum, for example, under the sofa. A person can only throw dust from a bag inside the robot - unfortunately, the vacuum cleaner itself is not yet able to do this.

Robots will facilitate not only human domestic work, they will come to his aid and at work. There will be postman robots, worker robots, cleaning robots, sales robots. True, sociologists and economists look at this process gloomily - millions of people will be left without work, and it is not known how this will affect society.

We can only hope that the technical process will only improve human life, and not complicate it.
