This recipe is very good for curly cookies, the dough does not spread over the baking sheet and retains its shape perfectly. Make sure you preheat your oven well.
6 cups flour (1 cup = 130g)
3 teaspoons baking powder
2 cups butter or margarine (1 cup = 227g)
2 cups sugar (1 cup = 200g)
2 eggs,
2 teaspoons of vanilla extract or other flavors (I add almond essence)
1 teaspoon of salt.
Beat the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well. Mix all dry ingredients separately and add to butter. Knead well and refrigerate for 1-2 hours. Then roll out to desired thickness and cut into cookie cutters or cut with a knife. Bake on greased parchment at 180g. within 8-10 minutes until a brown crust appears at the edges.
