I wonder if I would hang such a device in the bathroom and pour in the rinse for teeth. True, I have not seen these on sale.

It just hangs in my bathroom, complete with a toothbrush - BRAUN Professional Care. I have been using it for 2 years and cannot imagine how I used to live without it!

After our excesses, I think everyone should have such things. Only I can't decide on the brand ...
And so in the container either oak bark or ChlorohexidineBiGluconate ... And paradanthosis / paradantitis will recede for several years!

Girls, thanks to this Temko, I am now with the whole family a happy owner of the irrigator -AQUAJET LD-A7. ... I chose a few days based on reviews on the internet. Today we tested it, in general it feels very good. I liked the power of the jet - here the reviews did not deceive and the compactness of the device itself - it fit very well with us. We also bought a Lakollut concentrate for diluting the solution.
In general, thanks to everyone who raised this topic - thoughts wandered for a long time and the doctor recommended the purchase of this device to my husband, and then the idea was finally formed and embodied in the end thanks to our forum!
Zubastik
Anastasia, congratulations on your purchase!
And what do the internet say about the Brown irrigators? I keep looking at it, but I haven't decided to buy it yet. Since you have studied the reviews in the net, tell us pliz, otherwise you are too lazy to read. I have had a similar brush for many years. Without her and Amway toothpaste, I can't imagine how you can keep your mouth clean. And instead of an irrigator, I use Japanese dental brushes to clean the interdental space. They are of different widths, a very cool thing. And after all the cleanings, for about 10 minutes, I also go through the floss thoroughly. I understand that the irrigator in my chain will replace the brushes?
Anastasia
Zubastik, thanks! Yes, the irrigator will replace the brushes and even massage the gums nicely. According to reviews, Brown is one of the three leaders in terms of reviews (there is still a positive review of American Waterpeak irrigators), but it seemed to me that his pressure might be weaker than that of Aquadget. And we needed just a good pressure. But even the girls in this thread wrote that they are happy with their Browns, so I think that you will not be disappointed either.

And I once tried with a brush ... At first I liked it so much, but ... in short, it looks like I tore my gums famously ... But my gums are weak. The irrigator is safer, I think.

About the pressure. My Broun (post 2) has five degrees of pressure, so in my family only I can withstand the third, for everyone else, and it is too strong. And even after flossing and brushing you will see how much more "garbage" is stored in our jaws
Zubastik
All convinced! We urgently need to take it !!! In general, I have been carrying the idea of buying for more than a year, but I cannot decide on a dental center or an irrigator separately. There is only one outlet in the bathtub, where the same Brown toothbrush is always turned on, as in the dental center. Moreover, there are only two such brushes. If I buy a dental center, it is convenient to charge in the bath in one socket and take up less space. On the other hand, I immediately think why to overpay and what to do with two brushes. In general, there is no way to buy and use for a long time, I go here and am tormented by questions.
And I readily believe in garbage - I often meet people who brush their teeth only with a regular brush and sincerely believe that they are cleaning clean. The most advanced people use flos, to my surprised eyes that after flos the mouth is still dirty and sincerely surprised!
Rezlina
Zubastik, take a dental center I also had an electric brush before him ... I gave it now
I'm washing at 5th speed! super!
My gums used to bleed ... now everything is fine!

Looks like the best choice is really a dental center ...
Does anyone have one?

Girls, and more. Toothpastes such as Colgate, Blendamet, etc. (assortment of Pyatorochka / Magnet / Penny / Cheap) are highly abrasive. That is, if the teeth are expensive, then it is better not to use them ...

I spoke about such a center
And I have not used such toothpastes for a long time!
Zubastik
Now tell us what toothpastes you use!
For me, my favorites are Amway and ROC pharmacy, but I use Amway. I ordered completely natural toothpastes like Weleda from Germany even earlier, without chemicals, nothing for the gums. But with the crisis many shops there closed down, and the euro rate is not profitable at all.
Rezlina, about donating - a good idea!

Girls, are you sure that hula-hoop is good for an unprepared body? In my opinion, before you twist it, you need to strengthen the muscles in the waist area in the gym so that you have something to twist. And then he will be the liver - to beat off the kidneys, and even put bruises. What's good about that? It must be twisted with strong muscles, which, by straining, protect the internal organs from unnecessary exposure. I do the spotter, so our trainers in the simulator only give the hula-hoop to twist after a few months of classes three times a week. Even an elementary skipping rope is not given to beginners, at first only training in the cardio zone under the control of the pulse, and every day to strengthen it, so that he does not jump to the heavenly 150-160 or even more strokes on the rope.
Of course, I care about the hula-hoop, because there is no fat on the waist, and if there is no muscle either, then the harm is solid.

There is. This is what I show in the 2nd post.
Zubastik, do not worry about the number of brushes - it has replaceable toothbrush heads and all with multi-colored rings so as not to be confused. And the outlet needs to be occupied only for the duration of the irrigator, while the brush only needs one recharge to work for several days without a network.
Zubastik
dopletaI'm worried in a different way. I already have two (!!!) exactly the same toothbrushes from Brown, only without an irrigator. One of mine, one for my husband bought when we lived separately. I'm not worried about the attachments, but what to do with the already existing two brushes.
By the way, the thought came to my mind, and the irrigator does not need to be recharged, right? Should it be turned on the network only during operation? If this is so, then you can buy an irrigator, then a battery-powered brush.
Kosharik
Hairpin, a photo - in the studio !!! For an incentive to those who are lazy to go in for sports (like me). I have muscles, but I also have fat - I can't get rid of it. But my friendship with the hula-hoop does not work out.

I also wanted a dental center. I think, for March 8, order in podlarok
What about the spare brushes? Who buys where? And you won't need to run around looking for them later? (we are talking about the brown dental center).
And who thinks about domestic splat pastes?
Hope
I was very interested in the irrigator. I have been suffering from periodontal disease for a long time and I just need it.
Zubastik
And I bought a Brown Dental Center with an irrigator. At first there was disappointment - I expected a stronger pressure, but then I probably understood this enough. I use an irrigator on the 5th meter, I feel a light massage of the gums. Cleans well in combination with a toothbrush with different attachments (first I walk with the usual one, then with a conical one, then with a special attachment for the tongue, and then with an irrigator with water and rinse aid). After the usual cleaning, the floss was not so clean, but here it remains only in the most difficult places to clean it. In general, I am satisfied with the purchase, there would be even stronger pressure.
By the way, when studying the design, the question arose, how is the whole thing protected from bacteria? After all, the water remains inside, in the recess where the glass of water stands, in the hose to the irrigator itself. Will it be possible to grow a breeding ground with bacteria and then rinse your mouth with them.

Yes, I had such troubles here ... In one place for a month now, it feels like the food gets stuck specifically. Special effect from almonds and tough beef. At first I waited for it to pass, tried to clean it ... it hurts! On Friday I jumped to the paradantologist. Well, tipi, I have paradontosis, complicated by paradantitis in a very neglected form ... She said that this is a crown conflict (I have two crowns). The crowns themselves are good, and fit well, but ... she is not alive. And there will be pockets near the crowns, and if the crown is adjacent to a natural tooth, nothing else, and if with a filling ... then it's worse. She said that everyone who has crowns. And you have to learn to live with it. It is necessary to clean with a thread. And it hurts me there, so I forked out for an irrigator (for the money - HP Panasonic without a bucket).
Actually on the irrigator. Charges 15 hours. Charging is enough for 15 minutes. The volume of the tank is 1 glass. It really ends in about 35 seconds. It is better not to pour anything into the reservoir that could clog the nozzle. It turns out that if on average 3 glasses are needed for one cleaning, then the charge is enough for 8-9 uses. There are two attachments (so I realized that for two people), and they differ in colors.
There are three modes:
1. Just water
2. By water with air bubbles strong
3.Water with air bubbles weak
Well, in some places it still hurt me. I'm not sure if I need more power. I think that it is necessary to clean it all at night, only ... so that obviously something superfluous is cleaned out - I do not see it. When I read to the brushes, there yes and here ...

A more objective analysis in two weeks, it's too early ...
Hope
I also bought an irrigator, model WaterPik WP-100.
I love. Tank capacity 600 ml.
One problem, after using it, you do not want to eat anything, so as not to disturb the feeling of cleanliness in your mouth.

I went to a dental pharmacy for an irrigator. We have one at the Water Stadium. I love. There are always toothpastes - a whole showcase, but such masterpieces as Blendomet, Colgate, etc. do not exist. Anyway, she evokes associations with the word professional... I was picking up a bag of pastes there, well, what else would the eye fall on. And yesterday ... the showcases were half-empty ... I took only four pieces of pasta ... There is no liquid for the irrigator ... And my toothbrushes (ROX with a transparent handle) are not there either ... That's it ... crisis ...
Chantal
Well, I managed to go to this Temko, now I feel like it's softer .. an unsportsmanlike lazy woman without a waist, but with unclean teeth, but Temka is definitely useful because after all the culinary excesses, you need to return your body to a decent state

since I read Temka from beginning to end, can I think aloud like that, haphazardly?

any wraps (as well as hard peeling, rubbing, etc.) are definitely contraindicated in the presence of spider veins

I also have sensitive skin, I went through a lot of cosmetics, now I use la roche-posay, almost everything fits, definitely less allergenic than Vichy. I hear about getting used to thermal water for the first time, but it feels like Laroche thermal water is more pleasant (in summer, I always have it with me)

I would buy an irrigator only because "I don't feel like eating after it"

but with simulators in general trouble .. the family budget will crack in half .. can you even buy a hula hoop?

PS and on fitball in our family they do only one exercise - they watch TV
Zubastik
Hairpin, here I have the same feeling from the irrigator - you cannot compare with the brushes. I think we need to use everything together in a complex, only then it will make sense. Irrigator for very fine plaque and for massaging the gums more. Now the scheme for brushing your teeth is as follows: a regular nozzle for an electric brush, then I change it to a long conical one for cleaning in narrow spaces, I walk it thoroughly between the teeth and near the gums, then a nozzle for the tongue (sometimes laziness), then brushes, and only then with an irrigator. I have a 600 ml glass, I load the first glass with a rinse aid, just massage the second with water and rinse the unit itself. Ideally, for super sensations, it takes me 3-5 glasses with a total time (of an irrigator) no more than 15 minutes, then my mouth is really nice. And I choose the maximum pressure - 5. At a lower pressure, I don't think you feel anything at all.
So it takes almost half an hour to brush your teeth, but in the morning you can get up and walk just like that, no smell.

In general, my personal opinion is that if you choose between an irrigator and a good electric toothbrush, then the brush is more important. You can never clean your teeth by hand, but an irrigator is already a super nice addition for professional cleaning.

Since I got the Brown brush, which has been for many years, the teeth practically do not need to be cleaned by the dentist, the stone almost does not form and there are no dark spots.
Chantal
I think it's not only about the quality of cleaning, a friend uses an electric toothbrush, all sorts of rinses, etc. and still she has a bad breath almost all the time, but I have no brush or smell
Hairpin
Toothbrush
If your gums are weak, you won't clean up the brushes ... But as for the electric brush, then ... somehow I'm not very good. Although, maybe my electric brushes were bad ... By the way, yesterday in that pharmacy, I began to look closely at the electric brushes, and the saleswoman somehow ...Well, I advised a simple clean. She said that their dentists recommend an irrigator, but no electric brushes. So while I don’t have a good electric brush, I’d better keep quiet.

Chantal
But about the smell ... Often the smell is not due to unclean teeth, and because of a sick stomach. But here it is really quite difficult!
Hope
My teeth are very sensitive, so I cannot use an electric brush. Feeling like a drill.

Can you give a little more detail? I am a little out of life on the forum, due to technical reasons, and, probably, I missed something. But, this is temporary, I hope.
Hairpin
Well ... to be honest ... on this forum about the harmfulness of thermal water I saw for the first time, I had come across

I dug everything up, but I can't find it. In general, instead of thermal water, I think, an ordinary mineral water is better ...
Zubastik

A cheap brush is not a brush at all, they have a completely different principle. At Brown, the speed is infinitely adjustable, even for sensitive teeth and gums. I would never buy anything except Brown, it's enough just to delve into her device, in which planes it cleans and at what speed. Exactly the same brush is used by dentists during professional cleaning, after ultrasound. I often hear "yes, these electric brushes are garbage, and which one did you use? Yes, cheap, rubles for 300-500" ...
On the other hand, dentists recommend Brown. I wore braces for two years, I didn't get out from dentists, I went through a lot of doctors. The only thing they recommend is to alternate electric and regular. Normal morning, electric at night. And the saleswoman was caught completely dimwitted. I would ask to be fired if I got caught. To receive a salary from the owner's income and be such an idiot to scare away buyers so that the owner earns less, and even give such illiterate advice.
By the way, about the crowns. Your dentist also scratches your ears, which is normal when the gums become inflamed. This is an incorrectly installed crown. With a good crown and good care, there should be no problem. I also had a crown before, so I suffered with it, it's good that it was removed and the teeth were moved as if there was no tooth at all. And before that, there were always problems with the gums. At that time I asked someone who was treated by really good doctors (for example, who won the competition for the best dentist of the Far East and immediately received an offer in an elite clinic in Moscow), so people said that they did not feel the crown at all and there were no problems with the gums over the years of wearing absolutely. Just like an ordinary tooth, only not sensitive.
Hope , and how are you doing with calcium? Do you go to the dentist for fluoridation? Sensitive teeth are not the case.

The result is completely opposite. Well I left more than 5 thousand there. They are all like that. Some advice is advised, some no. In addition, it is paired with dentistry. I would even say that this is a pharmacy in dentistry ... Therefore, she spoke from the words of their dentists. In addition, if we recall the theory of how to properly brush our teeth, that is, the movements must be vertical, then ... no electric brush can clean like this. Only in circular motions ...

Toothbrush, your age is not specified.I can have elementary age-related problems with my gums. Bone tissue sinks with age. There was no point in lying to my paradantologist. She did not put the crowns, in general in another place. Now, if the conversation turned on, like the crowns are bad, it is necessary to change ... Yes, it will help, it would have strained me more ...

And on the case ... The place of inflammation is real after the irrigator calms down ...

As for fluoridation ... when I was a young man, when I was young, there were posters in Zelenograd, in kindergartens, "Do not use toothpastes with fluoride." Zelenograd was supplied with volzhka (it seems) water, in which there was an overabundance of fluorine. The use of fluoride pastes caused some kind of illness ... fluoride, I don't remember.

Here .. damn it ... fought ... these - to expel, those - to fire, those - to nag. Well, at least you are far away, otherwise you would disperse everyone for me ... And you would do it to me ...

Hairpin, there may be something else: children - small - can elementarily EAT pasta, which will already be harmful to the stomach ...

So my practice was precisely in water supply. Therefore, they talked about fluoride precisely in the context that northern Moscow does not need toothpastes with fluoride, while the south does. I don’t remember exactly, in Moscow there are either three or four water intakes. The excess fluorine was there.
It was a long time ago, but as far as I remember water analyzes in Moscow, I did not see fluoride deficiency.
Chantal
Zubastik, everyone's teeth and gums are different, that's when they cleanse me.

Hairpin, I could be wrong, but it seems to me that thermal water is less salty than a simple mineral water, IMHO will dry the skin

I was immediately dissuaded from the thermal bath on the basis of getting used to it. So I didn't use it ...

And it really depends on water, on the contrary, our children’s teeth are covered with fluoride varnish in dental offices, my friend sometimes smears it too (I have sensitive enamel) and even said you can just brush your teeth with a paste with fluoride and hold for a minute or two before brushing (by the way, there is an effect), we have a lack of fluorine in the water, but it is tough, okay, at least the jet is not in the sink!

All I'm thinking is where to attach simple exercises to raise your mood and a cure for laziness? who will advise? I can here

I like. And outwardly very compact and beautiful.
Convenient storage container for attachments. In other models, they are stored open, which is not hygienic. And here I washed and cleaned.

Yeah ..... I was also impressed by the bubbler ... the main thing. I saw him in the store. but it passed so indifferently ... some kind of garbage: a mattress with a vacuum cleaner.
At the expense of the irrigator. I wanted such a thing in earnest. especially. that everyone in the family has problems with teeth or gums in one way or another. I talked to a friend who owns a dental clinic. She approved of the impulse and offered her irrigator from the clinic "for trial". I took him home. It was Water Peak, but from some previous model, there is also a pressure switch on the handle. I used it, was completely fascinated (and my family too) and, having carefully studied all the parameters of the aggregate, gave it to the owner. I shook the FIGA pharmacies! In supermarkets (I thought I’ll find OralBi) FIG! And then, in a shabby first-aid kit, I accidentally stumble upon AquadgetRead, and the power of the motor is the same. and the max-min pressure is the same ... it costs 2100. I take it, fly home. And then such a disappointment befalls me ...: '(Heaven and earth with WaterPick ...: (At the strongest speed and pressure, Aquajet is weaker than # 2 (out of four) at the Peak ...

Beautiful. stylish. convenient ... and weak ... If I had not had the opportunity to compare, then I probably would. would be happy with that too. But I HAVE ANYTHING TO COMPARE. It is useless to carry it back to the pharmacy. Medical equipment cannot be returned. so it's useless to try. I put it back in the box, maybe I'll give it to someone for the occasion ... But I don't need this ... I'll hurt myself now, but I'll find and buy the hundredth WaterPeak! I liked the design and, most importantly, the declared power corresponds to the real one. And after irrigation, you just feel how every millimeter of the gums is worked out!
