My son's teeth are especially worried - he has some incredible plaque (a lot, and sometimes orange) Neither dentists nor pediatrician expressed any thoughts on this matter
And another question, is it possible to add Amway rinse to water?
The speed can be changed during operation, for children no more than 3, provided that all teeth have already been replaced by permanent ones.
Are the teeth milk or already permanent with a bloom?
About rinses and toothpastes. I tried a lot of things, including the very-very, as a result, the teeth began to deteriorate before our eyes. Enamel, gums, stones, plaque, and despite the fact that dental care is constant and thorough. Over the summer I changed 3 clinics and 4-5 doctors, no one could say anything normal. The matter ended up with the fact that I switched to ordinary Pearl, the same one from Soviet times, tooth powder, and as a rinse I use Forest Balsam, also known to many by the name.
This was the last advice of the last doctor, the more natural pastes and rinses, the better the teeth, everything depends on the quality of care and cleaning.
I clean with toothpaste 2 times a day, use rinse aid 3-4 times a week, and use toothpaste + special nozzles once a week.

The teeth are already all constant, the baby is almost 17. By the way, plaque began to appear already older, that is, after changing teeth
For our family, Amway paste is suitable for everyone, Both for me (without special problems with teeth) and for my husband (with some problems with both teeth and gums). He just rinses with a rinse with ihnim and is satisfied. It would be logical to pour this rinse aid into the irricatogr
Vorosik is still ripe. And where to store so many nozzles? All the vacancies are occupied with us, because there are four of us. And all these whitening, for the tongue and others You can't put in an ordinary glass ... How does anyone solve this problem?

Girls, I read the whole Temka twice from beginning to end and still have questions, which is better, to buy electric brushes and an irrigator separately, or all in one bottle, i.e. the center.
What do you think.
k.alena
IMHO, separate brushes for each family member (and even on batteries) - complete nonsense. And if you take a separate Brown brush (the same as in the dental center), and the irrigator separately, then the devices are exactly the same, and the money is 1.5 times more expensive. The brush in the dental center is quite full-fledged, with a good number of revolutions, in terms of functions, the same as separately. This model is almost the most expensive in the line. So, if there is a need for both a brush and an irrigator, take the center.
Basja
k.alena, thanks, I just want both brushes and an irrigator. But the fact is that when two are in one, in this case brushes and an irrigator, it is not always good to eat than if each thing was separate.
Kosharik
I also bought a center a year ago (a brush for me was an additional element). As a result, I rarely use the irrigato (for which everything was started), but the brush has taken root in the family (each has its own nozzle). Now I am addicted to email. brushes
Basja
Kosharik,
irrigato (for which everything was started) I use very rarely, so I also want an irrigator, and the brushes, as an addition, I read so many reviews, and I broke my whole head, if you buy only an irrigator, then I liked Water Pik more for its functionality. So the brushes will need to be purchased separately. In the center, I was confused by the fact that the water pressure is not very strong, and Water Pik is much stronger.
Here's what he writesZubastik And I bought a Brown Dental Center with an irrigator. At first there was disappointment - I expected a stronger pressure, but then I probably understood this enough. I use an irrigator on the 5th meter, I feel a light massage of the gums. Cleans well in combination with a toothbrush with different attachments (first I walk with the usual one, then with a conical one, then with a special attachment for the tongue, and then with an irrigator with water and rinse aid). After the usual cleaning, the floss was not so clean, but here it remains only in the most difficult places to clean it. In general, I'm happy with the purchase, there would be even stronger pressure.
By the way, when studying the design, the question arose, how is the whole thing protected from bacteria? After all, the water remains inside, in the recess where the glass of water stands, in the hose to the irrigator itself. Will it be possible to grow a breeding ground with bacteria and then rinse your mouth with them.
And so on. What can you say about the water pressure, although you do not use it often.?
Basja
Girls otvitel, who nidul has such brushes, and if so, what can you say?

Everything for cleaning the oral cavity (irrigators, brushes, pastes and dental centers)

Braun's affordable family cordless toothbrush Oral-B AdvancePower 900 Duo D 9022

Electric toothbrushes effectively clean and gently massage the gums, using the technology of reciprocating - rotating movements. The FlexiSoft brush head, with a small head and a cup-shaped bristle trimmer, covers and cleans every tooth from all sides, while the Iterdental Tips reach deep into hard-to-reach areas.

Made in Germany.

Kosharik
Basja, the set is frankly weak. Everyone's teeth are different, my teeth are very crowded. You still have to work with a thread. And another big (for me) minus. The base itself is large enough. I didn't get accustomed to the bathroom. Therefore, I probably rarely use an irrigator. But I want to take the brush with me on trips. But the charge is enough for us, at least for a week (for 2), over time the battery still "sits down". And to drag the "base" itself is unrealistic, it takes up a lot of space in a suitcase.
I also thought about bacteria. They are fruitful there, oh, how they multiply. Before use, be sure to pour some amount of water into the sink. Sometimes I add something like chlorhexidine (although it is harmful for them to use it for a long time).
Basja
Kosharik, thank you, so my fears about bacteria were not in vain. I am inclined to take separate brushes and an irrigator. The brush has its own charging base, so it can be taken on the road without any problems.
Thanks again. In the evening I will analyze everything again and then I will order.

Ladies, here the uncle talks about different irrigators on the Russian market

can someone come in handy.
I kind of want Brown ... but please convince me who is using this center!
Lika
Bacteria will not multiply if, after flushing, we turn off the motor and release the residual pressure with the button on the handle (without a nozzle) together with water in the pipe. We use boiled water or after a filter (reverse osmosis).
It is imperative to buy a set of additional attachments for the brush, the one with the "toothpick" and where your dentist is located - forget
Basja
sweetka listened, he did not say anything new, everything about them is written in the annotations.
Lika, and what is your irrigator?

Basja , news is generally a relative concept, don't you agree? I personally did not know that so many manufacturers "had their eyes" on the production of irrigators. and it was interesting to look at them, as they say, in motion, to figure out which one would be better suited for my bathroom.
in your case, there was nothing new. well, then you know this question better than me. respect
the video is designed more for those who are just starting to get acquainted with this dental diva.
Basja
sweetka, I read this Temka twice, hoping to find the best option for myself, that's why I read all the annotations about these irrigators, which is why I said that it was nothing new. If he showed how this device works .... I have long deduced for myself a formula that you only need to buy what is produced in Europe, America, so the quality control there is very strict, even if these irrigators are collected by emigrants, no China, Singapore, Taiwan.

Brown Center: Irrigator + Toothbrush
Freken Bock
sweetka, in Brown there is also a cool brush

And here is a "movie" about how the irrigator works:

Lika

I visited the dentist for the last time a year ago, and until that moment I cleaned the stones 2-3 times a year. My enamel is thin, every time I cleaned it under the freeze - brrrrrrrr. And yet, of all the toothpastes I stopped at Pearl.
I tried a bunch of them, including some that are sold only in pharmacies - nonsense and a waste of money. Everything for cleaning the oral cavity (irrigators, brushes, pastes and dental centers)
In my opinion, a grooming irrigator is not as important as a good toothbrush head. Now I do not use it often, mainly during the "general cleaning" once a week.
sweetka
Our pharmacists praise Russian-made pasta, damn it, I forgot the name ... there the uncle-director on the inserts also sends such emotional messages to consumers. I just because of the inserts the entire line that we had tried well, very reverent treatment. and they say that the pasta is good. Amveevskaya I do not like. now I'm thinking, what else to look for :)
Hairpin
I've also abandoned the irrigator. Sometimes I gather strength, brew oak bark ...
But I always carry small brushes with me. They are expensive (5-6 pieces for 200 rubles), but I throw them into a jar of alcohol. So I have them reusable. As I understand it, this is for those places where there is either a filling or a crown.
Although, on the other hand, I can, on the contrary, lower my gums ...
sweetka
Shpilichkahow are your pockets? pulled up? because I have some experience with propolis
Freken Bock
I'm not overjoyed at my Waterpeak. And even more than for myself, I'm glad for my husband. I had periodontitis (my husband). Now, no. Maybe, of course, there is, but now I do not "hear". But I can hear it well if someone around has it. Brrrrrr ...

But about the toothbrushes. I have been using electric for a year now. Everything would be fine, but dark spots appeared in the gaps between the teeth. I, of course, have bad habits. But these habits are many years old. And these problems did not exist before. Moreover, in the last time I almost coped with bad habits. And spots on the teeth just appeared this year. Electric brush to blame?

For example Braun D 19.513 Oral-B Professional Care 7400, Braun D 19.523 Oral-B Professional Care 7850 or Braun 3000 / D20 Oral-B Professional Care 3000. You can also use the entire Braun OC 20 Oral-B Professional Care 8500 DLX OxyJet Center. You can easily find descriptions by typing these names into a search engine.

I bought Brown a simple battery-powered one today. The nozzle is interesting at first, round, and then like a regular children's brush, where the bristles intersect. Who used please consult .....

fani I don't know any special subtleties, I use it as usual! It cleans very well on the inside of the teeth.
As an option, in order to get used to the brush, put in it not a new battery, but the one you are using, but it is not yet dead, then the brush will work slower. (I don’t know if I explained well)

In the dental center, the nozzles are replaceable, and each has its own color marking - removable multi-colored rings that can be "changed" from a worn-out brush to a new one.

what topic is there!
I will say a few words too ...

The use of electric Z. Shch. Has its own nuances.
1. Before you start using a brush, you need to know the theory of brushing your teeth.
I can't tell you everything, it's easier to find it in the net. I can only say that different surfaces of the teeth need to be cleaned with different movements. If you do not know how to clean the lingual surface of the tooth with an ordinary brush, then even more so you cannot do it with an electric one. In the gingival part, a soft plaque will accumulate, cat. will turn into tartar and periodontal disease will begin.
2. Toothpastes must be of very high quality.
The abrasive should be the finest. It is always present in the paste, but we cannot find out its quality ourselves. If only by the consequences ...
I would exclude whitening pastes, for smokers, with different pearl granules. but I would recommend toothpastes for sensitive teeth and anti-inflammatory. Made in Europe for the EU countries. Or shtatovskie. Not cheap.

What are dental deposits and how can they be removed?

Even those who regularly brush their teeth and rinse their mouths after eating have a white sang on their teeth. It consists of food debris, surface cells of the mucous membrane and various bacteria.

Usually, this plaque is easily removed with a toothbrush. It removes plaque well with a toothpaste containing enzyme preparations.

With poor oral care, soft dental plaque is gradually saturated with minerals contained in saliva, mainly calcium salts, becomes yellowish, hardens, and turns into tartar. For smokers, for lovers of strong tea and coffee, it turns brown and even black.

Abundant deposition of soft plaque and hard dental calculus is observed in patients with periodontal disease

Tartar is difficult to remove, as it is firmly attached to the surface of the tooth. The dentist removes these deposits using special tools and a paste, which includes pumice, iodine, glycerin, and hydrogen peroxide. In this case, the surface of the teeth is polished, and the surface layer of enamel is also removed, therefore it is often not recommended to resort to this method.

For those who develop tartar quickly, it is preferable to use tooth powder over toothpaste. The powder has more pronounced abrasive (grinding) properties.

Why I'm interested - just like brushes Braun, and irrigators WaterPik.So I think a brush with replaceable attachments for the whole family (3 people) and an irrigator separately. Almost for the price of a dental center (slightly more expensive if the brush is decent).

How complicated everything turns out to be. I've (and the whole family) have been using whitening pastes for 10 years, including no stones or periodontal disease (mmm) for anyone. And we buy pastes from Blend-a-honey to Amway Although after a while my teeth become too sensitive from Amway, then I change to Sensodyne and clean everything without any wisdom, only the youngest was allowed to use from the age of 7. Now she is 9 and is doing quite well.
Lyoka, so it is, the brush is one per family and each has its own nozzle.

Replacement brush heads are sold all the same, but each family member changes a removable ring in their own color to a new brush head. Is it clear? Or take a picture?
Lyoka
Thank you dopleta, I understand about the center, but are there also removable rings for individual brushes?
dopleta
And the attachments are standard, and they are sold in packs of one or two! And these colored rings are included in the package along with the attachments.

Thank you dopleta, it means that my men will be on the 23rd, and my 8th will be a collective gift

Tell me, are dentists all positive about such brushes or are there different opinions?
I once asked the doctor about the electric brush, he did not advise, he said that ordinary brushes are better with proper cleaning.
But that was more than a year ago, maybe the opinion is changing ... or the brushes are improving.
It is described so well that I also want to buy for a family.

Maybe it's not from the sweet, but from the chemistry that is in the pasta? We have now switched to natural pastes, and now there is no gag reflex when brushing our teeth, and there is no aftertaste either, just clean teeth and that's it. Of course, teeth darken over time, apparently because there is no whitening chemistry in the paste. But we are still not ready to go back to chemical pastes. As I recall this pinching of the tongue and the entire oral cavity, and nausea while brushing your teeth - no ... What do you start to notice this specifically only after you try natural pastes. you are right ... just because of the chemistry, such an aftertaste, I can’t brush my teeth at all - once, once, and that's it, while I’m standing rinse-rinse, beeee. And what are these non-chemical pastes and where to buy?

Different people tried it, starting with Radiance from Neways (similar to Glister from Amway), it is advisable not to wash it off with water for the effect to be. We just spit a lot and that's it. You can rinse with the Eluminaizer, but I never bought it, dear, infection. Then I picked up natural pastes on Iherba, different XyliWhite, I also took some with natural menthol, on herbs. In general, there are a lot of them in the internet now, on Kidtsaf write "natural pasta" in the search.
Look for pastes without SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate), fluoride, and other nasty things. They do not foam too much (I now hate a mouthful of foam from ordinary pastes), and do not give an aftertaste, most often they are simply tasteless, they clean the teeth and that's it.
And, of course, they are several times more expensive than ordinary pastes. Everything natural is expensive.
