Ingredients

Kefir of any fat content 250 ml
Sugar 200 g
Eggs 2 pcs
Flour 300 g
Baking powder 10 g
Vanilla 0.5 g
Salt pinch
Cocoa 50 g
For the cream:
Condensed milk 1 can (350
Butter or sour cream (25%) 200 g
Prunes 100 g
Walnuts 100 g
Impregnation syrup:
Sugar 25 g
Water 50 ml
Lemon juice 2-3 tbsp. l

Cooking method

  • Kefir dough on the cake is kneaded very easily and quickly. I didn't even turn on the kneader, but used a simple whisk to beat the eggs.
  • Fantasy cakeSift flour, cocoa, baking powder, vanilla, salt into a bowl and set aside for now.
  • Fantasy cakeIn another bowl, beat eggs and sugar until the mass is whitened.

  • Fantasy cake Fantasy cakeWe line the detachable form with parchment and grease with vegetable oil. My mold is 21 cm. Pour the dough into the mold and level it with a spatula.
  • Fantasy cakeWe send the cake pan to the oven, preheated to 190 degrees, bake for about 45 minutes. We check the readiness with a wooden skewer or a toothpick.
  • Fantasy cakeWhile the cake is baking, we will make a syrup for impregnation. Pour water into a saucepan, pour granulated sugar into it and add lemon juice. Put the pan on the fire and bring the contents to a boil. Pour the syrup straight into a cup and leave it to cool. I didn't have lemon juice at hand, I replaced it with orange juice. But you can just make sour jam.
  • Let's prepare everything for the cream. If you take sl. oil, then you need to get it out of the refrigerator in advance and keep it at room temperature. But with sour cream, the cream will be more tender.
  • Fry the walnuts for 10 minutes in a dry frying pan, chop.
  • Cut well-washed prunes into small pieces. Instead of prunes, I have homemade dried cherries.
  • Fantasy cakePour the condensed milk into a bowl, add butter or sour cream and beat until fluffy for a minute. Pour out the crushed gr. nuts and prunes, mix. Immediately put aside a little cream for coating the cake.

  • Fantasy cakeLeave some cubes and scraps for sprinkling the top of the cake. Dry in the oven and beat with a blender until crumbs.

Despite the large abundance of text, these pastries can be prepared very simply and quickly. And the result is simply amazing. Delicate biscuit, aromatic and unusual cream, an amazing combination of several flavors.
You can decorate this cake at your own discretion. You can sprinkle it with crispy breakfast cereal balls on top. It will look very beautiful and unusual. This cake can decorate any table - both everyday and festive. But I prepared it for a quick tea for evening tea, not bothering much with the decoration, and with the available products. We really enjoyed!
