I don't have any cherries and no dye either, but I wanted to eat cookies right now, so I took only the first half of your recipe: 120 grams of butter, a glass of flour with a large top, 50 ml sugar, vanillin, I also added a couple of tablespoons of grated fried almonds, mixed dough and quickly baked cookies in a freshly bought grill (I tested the device).
