  • We peel the apricots, put them in a cleanly washed slow-cooker saucepan, sprinkling the layers with sugar. Let stand under the lid in a cool place until the apricots give juice and the sugar begins to dissolve. It will take several hours. Sometimes I put it in the refrigerator overnight, and then let it stand at room temperature.
  • Mix apricots with sugar in order to combine everything with undissolved sugar and turn on the slow cooking mode for the fastest cooking mode. As a rule, it is called - High.
  • Cover with a lid and let the sugar dissolve completely and boil with jam.
  • As soon as the jam boils and the sugar completely dissolves, grind the mixture with your foot from the blender to a puree state. Be careful not to scrape the bottom of the slow cooker! Although this may not be done. But I like the uniform jam. This happens after about 1.5-2 hours, depending on the slow cooker model.

  • Remove the lid and cook the "sample on a platter" jam. Mix the jam several times, raking it from the walls to the center, since the process is faster at the walls. You can remove the foam if it appears.
  • My jam stopped spreading on a plate five hours after I punched it with a blender.
