Multicasha is crumbly. Complete protein, a storehouse of vitamins and minerals.

Ingredients

Green lentils 50 g
Buckwheat 60 g
Rice 50 g
Salt 0.5 tsp
Water 0.5 l.
Spices, onions to taste (it is possible without them)
Peeled pine nuts 50 g
Oil (flaxseed, walnut, or milk thistle) taste

Cooking method

  • Rinse lentils with water and put on fire. After 7-8 minutes after boiling, add washed buckwheat and rice, salt, stir and let it boil again. After 3-4 minutes, if you wish, add spices, finely chopped onion, stir, reduce after boiling. (Without spices and onions, it is also great, the taste of porridge is already quite original). Simmer over low heat under a slightly open lid for 10-15 minutes (close the lid completely, when the water is absorbed so much that it stops covering the grains and stops rising and running away). If the water runs away, or it seems to you that the cereals are still damp, and there is almost no water, then you can add a little boiling water. When very little water remains at the bottom, remove from heat, stir and let stand under the lid for another 5 minutes.
  • Place in a plate and sprinkle with pine nuts.
  • You can also drizzle with a spoonful of fresh (not bitter) linseed or nut oil, that is, oil with a delicate flavor. Oil with a pronounced taste (olive, pumpkin, for example) will overpower the taste of porridge. And he itself is quite bright and harmonious.

The dish is designed for

2 servings

Time for preparing:

25 mins

Note

Thanks to the combination of grains and legumes (rice and lentils) with buckwheat, porridge contains a complete protein (all eight essential amino acids are present in sufficient quantities). The iron content in this wonderful gruel is also high. It is difficult to say which microelements and vitamins this porridge lacks :-) Pine nut is also a complete protein, much more valuable than in meat, and it also contains useful polyunsaturated fatty acids, vitamins and minerals. Kernels contain 63.9% high quality oil and 17.2% digestible proteins, which are composed of 19 amino acids.

This porridge is also very tasty and cooks quickly. You can cook more of it, stick on cutlets and freeze for future use. But fresh, hot, with pine nuts, it is simply delicious. It does not take long to prepare, so this is a wonderful lifesaver when you urgently need to gain strength.
Even my cat loves this porridge and often prefers it to meat.

I read the recipe again and did not see a hint of a slow cooker anywhere. "Simmer over low heat"
Maybe doubts because of the name "multicasha"? So this was probably due to the fact that the mixture of cereals

This is what it was - multi - means compound
A wonderful healthy recipe Asteria, thanks, I will definitely try

No, I cook this porridge in a saucepan. In the multicooker, the pan is too big for me and it takes too long (in Panasonic) to cook everything. And boiled everything will probably work out. Brand might do better. But then it will still be necessary to turn it off anyway before it finishes the work itself, so as not to be overcooked.
It's not difficult for me to sit near the stove for 20 minutes
irza, yes, you understood me correctly "Multi" - this meant several different components (usually porridge is cooked "mono" - one cereal), well, and a hint of a lot of usefulness

Estess-but, the name was misleading and the fact that I completely forgot about ordinary saucepans. This recipe is fully applicable to CF.
