Cooking method

  • Cut the legs as follows: cut the tendons at the upper cartilage and, using a knife, move all the meat down to the smaller cartilage. It turned out great, only my men snorted that there was not enough meat. Therefore, the idea came to mind to make exactly the legs in this way. Then I thought about the filling. Since a Belarusian is not a Belarusian without a bulb, it was decided to stuff it with potato grandma, and I also love sweet and sour things and decided to make it for myself with rice and prunes. The idea was also with buckwheat porridge with boletus, but there were not enough legs (I should divide the net for everyone). What I want to say to my taste, I liked it with my grandmother and with rice. They just taste completely different! It's like a main course and dessert.
What I want to say about cutting the legs: of course, it's more useful to take chilled legs, but in my village this is not for sale and I have to buy everything in the city at once and put them in the freezer. On the other hand, frozen legs are much easier to cut than chilled ones! It took me no more than 15 minutes to cut the legs.
How to calculate how much you need for stuffing: for rice for 1 leg, take 3/4 tbsp. l. without a slide of rice groats + 2 pcs. prunes. For a potato head, we take 1 medium potato per chicken leg. Phew ... I kind of wrote and explained everything I could.
