The biscuit without baking powder was a success. Separately about the cream: I made it from home "free"cream cheese.

Why free?
This cream cheese is my own personal experiment. Recently I have got this habit - not to throw away the froth from boiled milk. Well, that is, I used to pour the cooled milk from a saucepan into a jar, and a saucepan with foam that had settled on the walls or in a strainer - into the sink and immediately wash it. And suddenly I felt sorry for the good to throw it away. It seems that the taste of the foams is very pleasant - concentrated, pure sweet cream, it reminds me of ricotta very much. But all the same "fu, foam". The consistency spoils everything.
I started a jar in the freezer, and every time I throw the foam into it. Well, I think I’m probably using it in a curd cake. In general, I have already accumulated a few of these cans - 800 grams. I defrosted, boiled a little - and whipped them warm. In the process of homogenizing with a blender, the flaked mixture becomes viscous and thick before our eyes, similar to processed cheese. In the refrigerator it generally thickens - just spread it with a knife on bread. In the sense of foam, the purest water, cream cheese is, after all, curdled milk protein with a solid admixture of milk fat.
This is the cheese I used for the cream. The cream turned out to be homogeneous, thick, tasty, just "Soviet" in taste. Though roses are made of it. The children asked: "What is such a delicious cream from?" ... Cream cheese, I say. "Nothing, delicious," - they approved. Yeah, right now: tell them that this is foam - all the flair will fly off at once))) And even more so, it’s not foam at all, but cheese, which is free)))
