Ingredients

Beef (pulp) 450 g
Carrots (large) 1 PC
Bow (medium heads) 2 pcs
Red sweet pepper (small) 1 PC
Potatoes (medium tubers) 2 pcs
Tomato sauce with herbs and garlic Myasnov 5 tbsp. spoons
Vegetable oil on demand
Melted butter on demand
Meat broth 150 ml
Parsley 6 branches
Salt taste
Four Pepper Blend taste
Potato Mix by Kotanyi taste

Cooking method

  • Cut the meat into large pieces and pepper. Place in a skillet and fry in vegetable oil on the gas hob. Salt. Fry until dry.
  • Transfer the meat to tagine, pour in 100 ml of hot broth. Simmer over the lowest heat for 40 minutes (focus on the desired degree of meat tenderness).
  • At this time, coarsely chop the carrots and onions, salt and pepper. Fry in vegetable oil in a pan for 10 minutes. Add "Myasnov" tomato sauce with herbs and garlic (canned tomatoes in their own juice, fresh tomatoes, fresh garlic, fresh dill, fresh parsley, fresh cilantro, black pepper, coriander, salt, vinegar), simmer for another 5 minutes.
  • After 40 minutes, transfer the vegetables to the tagine, mix with the meat. Simmer for 1.5 hours over the lowest heat.
  • At this time, coarsely chop the potatoes, add spices for the potatoes, fry until half cooked in ghee.
  • After 1.5 hours, put the potatoes in the tagine with a top layer, add 25 ml of hot broth. Simmer for 10 minutes over the lowest heat.
  • Coarsely chop the pepper, add salt and pepper, fry until soft in vegetable oil.
  • After 10 minutes, put the top layer of pepper in the tagine. Simmer for 15 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes, stir the contents of the tagine, add 25 ml of hot broth. Simmer for 0.5 hour.
  • Add chopped parsley to the tagine. Turn off the gas.
  • Let the dish sit for 20 minutes.
  • The dish is very similar to Hungarian goulash, but there is practically no liquid in it.

Note

Add spices very carefully, as the tomato sauce already contains salt, pepper and pickled tomatoes.
The cooking time of the roast depends on the quality of the meat, it is possible that the initial stewing of the meat may take more than 40 minutes.
