Why baking for 30 minutes? In your Panasonic 255 baking mode from 30 minutes to 1 hour 30 minutes

here the instructions say

#
Select the Baking mode and use the Timer button to set the required time.
lilyaangel
Alexandra, thanks, and I found this in my instructions :(
Now I increased it to 1 hour, I will hope the bread will turn out ...
Admin, thank you very much for the tips.

Do you need a stove in a conventional oven? In this bucket, apparently you can't?

Why not? The temperature in the bucket at the time of baking in cold weather is also 180-190 *, in the oven the same temperature for baking.
The forum already has examples of such a way out - everyone is alive and well, both people and buckets
Alexandra
lilyaangel, for good health. I hope you will succeed.
Actually, for the future, bread tastes better in the oven. But first it makes sense to master baking in cotton, and then decide about the oven. I'm just doing kneading in x / p. I bake in the oven.

And then nothing will happen if you do not interrupt the process and finish the bread with spilled flour - here cleanliness is not particularly needed now

So what if smoke poured out of the grate all over the kitchen? it's good that I was still at home ...
it seems to me m. b. dangerous ... No?
Admin

So, depending on how much flour you put there, it will burn out in the shadow quickly and stop.

Make it a rule:
immediately after washing the bucket, insert the spatula into place in the bucket.
put all the raw materials in a bucket by placing it on the table - and not in cotton - this will save you from such problems as spilling and spilling where it is not necessary
Alexandra
lilyaangel,
For the future: Your stove has a function to save the program for 10 minutes in case of a voltage drop or disconnection of the stove from the network.

Your actions: without turning off the stove with a button, pull out the wire from the network, carefully remove the bucket, gently wipe it with a damp cloth so as not to burn yourself, wipe it, put the bucket in place, close the lid and turn the stove back on with a wire. The program resumes where it left off.

lilyaangel
Why put the spatula in the bucket right away?
I always fall asleep on tar.
Just for some reason the dough turned out very well. liquid - I added flour several times, and carefully. Apparently, due to the fact that I poured it on the bun, which later spun strongly from mixing, the flour was rinsed out ...

And then, in order not to pour all the food and water into the bucket, put it in a s / n, and then find out that the kneading does not occur due to the lack of a mixer and therefore rake it all onto the table, and then back, or it is "better" to reach the end baking and find unmixed baked mash at the bottom of the bucket, instead of bread

We also have such experiences on the forum, we learn from mistakes

Here's what I got:

The roof naturally fell off, because I yearned for him here and there. But it was baked great!
It turned out very tasty (recipe: https://Mcooker-enn.tomathouse.com/in...tion=com_smf&topic=1998.0)
Flour on the sides, because in the process it filled up, and overdid it a little.
Thanks again everyone :)

lilyaangel ,

Quite decent bread considering the circumstances and baked well
You may have already read, but just in case, here's a link - Temki about the basics of baking. Pay special attention to the formation of the kolobok. Rye bread has its own characteristics compared to wheat

Literally an hour ago, I put the bread on the Basic program, decided to control all the processes in time and did not leave the bread maker. So the program time is 4 hours. The kneading started at 3:25, the dough was kneaded until 2:16 (seeing that the kneading did not stop, I removed the bucket after 13 minutes), the kneading began at 2:10 minutes. I didn't feel any further destiny dough, turned off the oven, bake it in the oven as it rises. That's it...

Margit In vain you interfere with the AUTOMATIC HP !!
It is necessary to find out what's the matter, who or what influences and only then draw conclusions.
Maybe this is a CP defect, which is unlikely, rather external factors

Previously, I did not interfere with the operation of the furnace until I received a brick several times in a row, and only on this program. After all, you say that the matter is in flour, so today I again put on this program to check. The dough has risen perfectly, you can bake in a x / oven on mode bakery products, but you can just in the oven. The stove is already the eighth month, it always worked well on any programs, but now it does not want to main oven, even crack!
Thanks, I'll try on a dietary one! I didn't even remember about him.

Margit Since I constantly bake Peasant bread, this program is my most important.
And I just like the taste of bread on a long program

Margit, I have exactly the same problem, although I have a 257 model. Suddenly it turned out to be a real brick instead of a beautiful loaf. I took flour of the same brand, but of a different batch, and how you began to control the stove. The main mode was turned on, the batch started at 3.25 and continued until 3.16. Then it started again at 3.10 and ended at 3.05. Further, either I missed or more there was no kneading and only at 1.40 it still sagged. The result is a lovely loaf, so it's all about the flour, apparently the reduced gluten content. The gingerbread man at 10 minutes was a real mess, and I wanted to add flour, but did not, I was afraid that I would get a brick again, so try changing the flour. Good luck!

Margit, try changing the flour. Good luck!
Thank you, zine @ ida, I'll try it tomorrow, today we bought several packs of Macfa at the Metro, if only there were no problems with her!
zine @ ida
Margit, I don't know how your successes are, but I have another failure, on the "main" program I used the same brick, from the same flour and the same yeast, I used the last time, there was a beautiful, tall loaf. Everything, now I do not know what the reason is, but definitely not in flour. Have you tried the oven with other programs? I have the same result on the rye program. They say it's useless to take it for diagnostics, the stove is working, they say the human factor. In general, darkness.
Margit
zine @ ida
I tried it with new Makfa flour, the same brick. I think that this is some kind of malfunction in the program, isn't it normal, when the oven starts kneading the dough from 3:25 am and continues to beat it, ending at 2:16 pm, no gluten threads will survive.
Yesterday baked on the program Gluten free, it turned out to be a very tall and beautiful bread. I also liked this program because there is no temperature equalization in it. Try it!
In the subject: The dough has stopped rising natalka wrote that she had a malfunction in the dumplings program, the dough was very hot, then it passed by itself. So I hope that over time everything will return to normal, but for now I bake ordinary bread on a hearth or in bread tins.
Ilcy
Hello dear bakers!
I really love to cook for my small family: my daughter and my beloved five-year-old grandson, who, unfortunately, grows up without a dad.
I turned 50 on Sunday.
On this day, my friends made my long-term dream come true and presented a Panasonic sd-255 bread maker. They laughed for a long time at my dream - they say you get up in the morning, and you have everything ready, just eat, and this is all complete nonsense. It's just that they have had a similar oven for a year now, and they did not use it (I tried to explain to them that they were using the wrong flour (they bake from Ryazan flour, at 15 rubles per kg., But not because cheap - they just got used to it, they take it from the miller factory, but I always use Sokolnicheskaya for many years, or very rarely Macfa (I don't like it very much, but it's my personal opinion).
Yesterday, after a lot of research on the Internet and studying reviews of this bread maker, I have a complete mess in my head about making bread. Either yeast from above, then the use of mineral water, then something else. And a lot about scales, and without them you can?
Matilda-N
Ilcy -accept my congratulations on your birthday and on the acquisition of a new assistant! : drinks: Of course, there are many recipes on this forum that you will use, but you still need to start with the simplest recipes that are in the oven recipe book. For example, regular white bread or egg bread. I wish you success in baking !!!
Margit

Hello. Today I faced such a problem. I baked rye bread and decided to put another portion in 20 minutes. The display showed a line that the bread maker is not cold. Ok, turned it off, waited 40 minutes. I tried again. And the program for the Basic Bread is heated on the dipley and does not "get lost" in any way - no buttons work: neither the timer, nor the crust. She turned it off and on several times at different intervals, but the screen was the same. What to do?
Rina
larchik, countrywoman, have you read the instructions? It describes in sufficient detail the procedure for setting the program and launching it.
1. if the stove is plugged into an outlet, zeros will be displayed. If the stove is on all the time, the screen is blank, which does not mean that the stove is not working!
2. with zeros or an empty screen, select functions from left to right - first with the "program" button, then "mode", "size", crust ", if necessary," timer ", AND ONLY AFTER A FULL SELECTION, PRESS THE START BUTTON - it starts the program, and does not turn on the stove!

The "Start / Stop" button starts and stops the program!
larchik
Rina, thanks for the answer, BUT, when I turn on the stove to the outlet, it IMMEDIATELY shows the main bread program, but I don't need it, I want to bake rye (!) Bread. I press stop, the screen goes blank. After a while, I turn on the machine again, and there again the "main bread" and no buttons work, neither the "program" (to change), nor the "size", etc. What should I press to cancel the "main bread" program "if no buttons are responsive.

P.S. I read the instructions. It's not the first time I've baked bread
Rina
Do you turn on the car by pressing the start button?

For the rye program with a blank screen, press the "program" button three times, and only then "start / stop".

The machine is switched on NOT by the START button, but by the PROGRAM selection button.

Rina I advised you: first select the program, mode, size, crust and only then press the START button
larchik
It seems to me that we hardly understand each other. I decided to describe my actions step by step

- I turn on the stove in the socket
- the main bread program is immediately displayed on the screen (with XL size, dark crust, although I always put medium) and time 4:00)
- I press the "program" button to switch to the "rye bread" program - does not respond. I try to press, for example, on the "crust" - it does not respond, the timer does not respond.
- I turn off the bread maker with the "stop" button and pull the cord out of the socket. Once I just pulled out the cord in the hope that the program would fail - it didn't work. When I plugged it in, the "main bread" is again on the screen ...
Lenusya
Casket, try to do this:
If your main program starts immediately, press the STOP button, the machine will beep and the screen will turn off. Do not disconnect from the network. Then press the Program button several times.

Is that how it works?

PS if you just turn off the network, the program is automatically saved for 10 minutes
Rina
How long did you keep the stove disconnected from the mains? Try to hold for at least 30 minutes to get started.

If this does not help (when you turn on the network, not zeros are displayed, but 4:00), then you are in the section Technical questions of the operation of stoves. Panasonic... Post your question there.

The section has a topic Panasonic SD-255 TEST MODE , but I still did not understand what should be displayed on the screen if the stove does not work correctly.

Yes, how long have you been using this bread maker?
Margit
larchik
If the program is lost and does not respond to your commands, use the x / stove as only the program that it issues, it is useless to argue with it. For her it will go away by itself some day. My oven has already given such failures several times, literally the day before yesterday the dough program did not work, but before the French and main. Then, by itself, everything returned to normal. It is useless to carry it to the service, there is a law of meanness - there it will work. Maybe a change in temperature will affect, or shaking on the road, but how to drink it - it will work there. They will hold her for two weeks, take care of the bread, and return her to your home.
Lenusya
Whoa, Margit , you are puzzled.
My oven for 2.5 years has never had such a problem.
larchik
Thank you HUGE everyone for the advice. I will try to "negotiate" with her in an amicable and homely way, without going to the server :)

And if you don't take it to the service? Just roll the stove in the car?

All the time I bake bread with 500 g of flour. Size L
And so I decided to switch to size XL, for 600 g of flour.

I immediately had a question:
In the recipe book for 500 g flour - 330 ml of water, for 600 g - 360 ml
But if you count, it turns out 330: 5x6 = 396 ml
How so?
glad
larchik, I have the same problem. I don't know how to deal with it yet
going to call the service center.
And the point is not at all that we are pressing the wrong button, as many people write.
Moreover, I have a new bread maker and the next day after the purchase such a problem immediately arose. At first I also thought that I did not press the buttons correctly, but I read the entire instructions 20 times and I know that I am pressing everything correctly. And even if I do not press any buttons (for example, after turning off the electricity), the stove, instead of continuing the program (I already had a batch), starts the program over again - "main, XL, medium crust, 4 hours) My eyes almost fell out
If you somehow manage to get rid of this - please write.
I, in turn, will also inform.

In the section Problems and solutions in the instructions for the HP, it is said that "The operation will not be interrupted if the power failure was short-lived. The HP will work again if the power is restored within 10 minutes (the display shows power alert. If more than 10 minutes, the display shows 0:00 "Then the program must be restarted. That is, start from the beginning.
You, as I understand it, appear on the display Main ..., which is already incorrect. Most likely you need to service
So according to the instructions, I did not encounter such a problem.

Good evening, dear forum users !!!!! Help!!!! I gave my wife a Panasonic 255 bread maker, they baked bread for three months everything was ok. But for a month and a half it has not worked. The flour is the same, the yeast does not seem to be a fake, the recipe for ordinary bread (this is how they always baked) 10 loaves in a row have already been thrown out. What happened and what is it eating Can't insert a photo
Margit
Most likely it's the yeast. Check them for freshness first. Dissolve the flour with water 50/50 grams, add 0.5 tsp of yeast, stir and watch the dough. Usually after 20 minutes it will be already visible whether the yeast is working or resting, after another 20 minutes they strive to escape from the jar.

Hello dear bakers!
I got a glorious Panasonic SD-255 bread maker and the first pancake, as they say, is lumpy, the bread seems to have turned out well, it was kneaded well, baked beautiful, ruddy with a crispy crust, but the crumb is a little sticky and smells like yeast I sin on the wrong proportions, my scales are mechanical and probably show incorrectly
The first bread was made according to the recipe from the instructions, Voronezh yeast was used, Kharkov flour. Tomorrow I will buy an electronic scale and try to change the yeast and flour, I think that everything will work out.

Happy New Year, everyone!

Dear bakers! For 3 days now I am a happy owner of a Panasonic SD 257. She baked 2 breads according to the recipe from the instructions for the HP: "Diet bread" (baked from wheat flour from CH) and "French bread with rye flour" (premium wheat and rye flour). The bread was very successful (I don't know how to insert the photo) Now I really want to try sweet pastries - muffins. And on the forum I do not know where to find the recipes in the HP. Owners of Panasonic SD 257! Please tell me how soon the dispenser closes after pouring the raisins into the dough? I'm baking butter cake, the raisins have spilled out, and the lid is hanging down! It will interfere with baking, the cake will rise into it: o What to do?
Olgushechka81
I have a Panasonic 255, the dispenser does not interfere with baking, it closes on its own, after 5-10 minutes. By the time I started baking, I always closed.

My lid is hanging down now, and the dough is rising. If the lid does not close, the dough will stick into it.

HOW DOES THE DISPENSER CLOSE ???
It remains open and does not interfere with anything ...

Thank you calmed down. I bake the first time with a dispenser. Now I'm worried whether the dough will have time to rise, otherwise I often opened it - I looked in if the lid was lifted or not.
