Curd-poppy cake

Ingredients

Dough
Flour
knead a light dough
(all components
and mix half the flour in a blender,
add the rest of the flour gradually)
300 g
Sugar 75 g
Softened butter 120 g
Yolks 2 pcs.
Baking powder 1 tsp
Poppy mass
Ground poppy 350 g
Ground crackers 4 tbsp. l.
Yolks 3 pcs.
Sugar 120 g

Cooking method

  • Grind the yolks until white with sugar. Beat the whites into a strong foam and add portions into the yolk mass.
  • (I only had 150 g of poppy seeds and as a result 2 tablespoons of semolina, 2 yolks, 70 g of sugar)
  • Curd
  • Grind 400 g of cottage cheese in a blender,
  • 1 packet of classic or vanilla pudding (dry 40 g)
  • Grind 4 yolks with 150 g of sugar until white. (whipped everything at once)
  • Beat 6 proteins until strong peaks, add very carefully in several steps into the curd mass.
  • Assembly
  • First the dough, then the poppy filling and then the curd,
  • baking mode 65 + 40 min.
  • Allow to cool in a multicooker without opening the lids.
  • Ready to pour with either melted chocolate or chocolate fondant (no chocolate on hand)
