Ingredients

Cooking method

  • So, let's begin. We need to work quickly, so we weigh everything in advance.
  • Put butter, margarine, tahini, honey, sugar and coffee in a large saucepan on gas and bring to a boil. Sometimes it's worth getting in the way -)

  • Roast the sesame seeds in a dry frying pan for a couple of minutes.
  • When the mass comes to a boil, remove from heat and add halva, mix thoroughly, add sesame seeds, mix thoroughly. We work quickly, the mass begins to thicken. Now add the puffed rice.

  • I advise you to add in parts, so you can adjust the density of the finished product. Usually it takes a little less than indicated in the recipe, but here the quality factor of the products also matters. The mass should freeze before our eyes.
  • Now we quickly transfer it to the form (I have a disposable one), if you use a regular one, then you need to shoot with baking paper and carefully tamp it. If there is a bad ramming, then the finished product will be perforated and fall apart when cutting.

  • The coating is not necessary, but it improves the presentation, so we melt the chocolate and cocoa butter and cover our flattened and cooled product with this mixture. If it is from the freezer, then wait a couple of minutes and you can cut it. If from the refrigerator, then return to the place for another hour.
  • We cut it in portions, into cubes. If it is still very cold, then the coating may crack - we wait for the chocolate to be not so cold.
  • You can store it in the freezer for a long time. Take it out as needed or in the refrigerator for a couple of weeks.

Honey can be replaced with molasses or invert sugar, butter for margarine. To cover cocoa butter, you can replace butter or vegetable, but not 1: 1, but much less, 20-30 grams.
